Your representative([name removed]) was very professional. She was early to our meeting, prepared, and I could sense that she was very kind. We went over the materials. When we covered things I didn’t understand she took the time to explain. I appreciated her patience with me as much as her professional skill.

My experience was not nothing out of the normal expectations. However, you must listen and do all required to get your loan closed. And First American was very efficient with all that was needed to go smooth as possible. I’m very pleased with the personal login that kept me informed on all steps need to be taken. Also, it was safe and secure.

Absolutely 0 or negative rating for [name removed] and [name removed]. Absolutely no communication in spite of me reaching out 2 days prior closing myself. I escalated the same day for not prepared for signing 1 day before without any notice. I wish I could explain the ordeal and frustration I went thru for this closing.

there were a few issues that stood out and our hope is that they can improve for future owners. The communication between the title company and the home builder is not adequate. They need to find a way to work together and synchronize. They also just sent the paperwork to you to review, they do not review with you live. So the question in the survey needs to change or their practice needs to change.

We register for a portal to speak with First American Reps who never responded on the portal. I had to call the number listed. The scheduled closing was a horrible experience as we did not get a call till the Morning before our closing date to coordinate for a time. If I had an option to pick a different title company I would as that created issues for us to reschedule alot of important time in our day with family.

We were so shocked and delightfully surprised that we signed the title the same day we were notified they were ready for us. And beyond that we got our keys the very next day. Super grateful!

I received a check for reimbursement. After I cashed it, there was a phone call that it was the wrong Amt on the check and the check will be voided. Well I cashed it and my bank will charge me a fee for voided check. Tried calling [name removed] again, left a message, no phone call back. I am frustrated with the service that I am receiving.

This is not the 1st home I've bought in my life and I also deal with contracts at work, and this experience with 1st American Title was simply awful. Poor communication and when I tried to get answers, I was treated very disrespectfully. I am very skeptical someone is actually reading this but I hope you do and PLEASE use this feedback to improve future experiences. Also, I'll be reporting you to the BBB.
