Ensure people know where they’ll need to travel to for closing. Ask if they’d prefer someone to come out to them. Didn’t know it was an option until we tried to reschedule. The paperwork took a very long time.

It would have been better if a real employee of the company would have been at the closing so that I could ask somewhat thorough questions of him/her. Just a notary was not sufficient for me.

We are very happy that although we were 40 minutes early, we weren't told we had to come back at our appointed time. We're pleased that our room was promptly prepared for us. It was a stress free experience.

After we closed on our home we were told to wait about 20 minutes for the keys they need to confirm funding. After waiting an hour and a half no one said anything. [name removed] finally came to bring someone else keys she said she was still waiting on funding, I called my realor and she called the broker and they stated we were funded early that morning and an email was sent saying they did not need anything else from us. [name removed] did not come back out I went looking for her and was told I could not come to the back, others new we had been waiting and the conversation began to get loud. [name removed] came out and stated she had the funding but as waiting for a mechanical lean... we closed on a new Beazer home. She refused to give us the keys and stated she was emailing someone for a response about the lean. Long story short we did not need to sign a mechanical lean. [name removed] could have crossed checked the information or she could have talked to her team to see if they ever had this issue. Customer service should have been to resolve the issue instead of letting us just continue to sit there. When we finally got the keys she did not explain anything to us like she explained to all the other people who came in after us. Fortunately I was listening so I knew a little bit. Our home purchase should have been joyful ending with pictures of us getting our keys. None of that happened, we felt attacked and embarrassed in front of the other buyers because we did not have a private space to find out what was going on. We were angry and hurt and I feel like anyone in that office could have stepped up to assist [name removed] with the process so that we could have had a positive experience. Even the lady who walked us through the paperwork could have came back to see why we were still there. No one cared! 3 hours after the paperwork was signed to get the keys is unacceptable.
