The fiberglass shingles are woven in the valleys. That installation method is not approved or warranted by TAMKO or any other fiberglass shingle manufacturer. There are only 3 whirly bird vents for the entire attic on the south end of the house. That is not a proper ventilation system. The water heaters had plugs instead of hardwired. That’s against NEC. Stove did not have a GFI breaker. Ground and neutral were bonded at a sub panel. That’s against NEC. Flat paint was used in/out on the house. Flat paint is garbage and not used by anyone. Gloss on ceiling, semi-gloss on walls, acrylic on exterior is normal. [name removed] spacing in the garage is at 19”. 19” is not residential standard. That’s not even industrial spacing. The windows are really cheap. Gutters were installed on the front of the house but nowhere else. That’s lazy. Overall it’s not bad compared to other builders in this price range. I’ve seen much worse.

The quality of the appliances in the house are average. I understand they are builder grade, but need to step that up a bit. One item in particular is the dishwasher. Very sub par. Also, when we moved in, not sure there was a whole house clean done as promise. I had to go in and clean floors etc. Our outside windows were definitely dirty. Should have been cleaned. On a positive note, [name removed], who came out for our initial walk through and specific month check ups, has been easy to talk to and good at explaining any questions we might have had.

We really liked the smooth move-in process and how everything is kept very well organized and streamlined. It took away some of the stress that tends to come with buying a home. Everyone was very easy to get ahold of, everyone was so friendly!

Well-Built home at fair price. Maybe location of trainyard and potential for a spill, The noise from the trains has not kept us awake at all. We are not worried about resale. We are not physically, emotionally, or financially able to move.

The interactions with the staff during the inspection prior to close was professional. I was not too happy with the 1 year warranties on both the roof, and foundation. I find it hard to believe that this is industry standard on new builds. I'm confident I won't have any issues, but lack the peace of mind.
