The staff refused to be flexible with the 2 required orientation meetings, and I had to close on a specific date in order to avoid "homelessness." I had to find other people to go to those meetings and fill out paperwork in order to do so. It was ridiculously over complicated and rigid. Things incomplete at closing were not communicated until that day. It took days to get my keys. When I purchased with [name removed], the day I signed, I was given my keys. No idea why this also had to be so complicated. The good news was that customer service was understanding and worked diligently to ensure that I felt heard and that issues were resolved.

I like that they guided us through the entire process. As questions came up, they answered them quickly and professionally, even taking the time to look up potential contractors for projects we wanted done outside of what was being built. As first time homeowners, having them take the time to explain all of the different aspects of our home and point out the different upkeep considerations was amazing. I was truly honored [name removed] and [name removed] took the time out of their busy schedules to help me learn more about the house I was moving into.

In the beginning there were some things that were troubling. I wanted my hime to have right sided garage. I was led to believe this was the case and then after signing the paperwork i learned it would b a left facing garage. At that point i wanted out of my contract but i was told i couldn’t get out. In good faith i should have been allowed to. I went into thr contract with an expectation and then that was flipped. I was under the impression that i would have cable ruffed into my home (at least that’s what the brochure said when i started looking at Stylecraft. Thr day of signing the contract i learned this option wasn’t available to me. I fought for it because it had been said all during the process and it is in my new hime. But that wasn’t right. I feel like i should have known earlier about my closing date. Several other people knew of their date earlier in the construction process. I do understand construction and delays. But i would have liked to have known a little sooner. The walk thru process was overwhelming. [name removed] was great! I believe with all the warranty information. there should be a checklist provided to the new homeowner. I remember most of the stuff but I’m sure i have forgotten some. Confirmation walk thru should highlight all the Knick and knacks not just the major things. My ceiling looks like i have water damage. it’s because the paint used to touch up was not the same paint on the ceiling. The flooring in my home looks subpar. It does not look professional at all. There are streaks all thru thr floor that make it look unclean. For a finished product i feel thr owners would be disappointed to put their stamp on this place if they saw the way the flooring looked. [name removed] has a great reputation of being high quality and “sharp”. My floor is less than sharp and Im surprised nothing was done to make it look like the Stylecraft brand! All in all this was a great process and i am grateful for my new home. Thank you.

[name removed] made it feel like a very personal experience from start to finish. He always followed up with any questions in a timely manner. We truly loved working with him so much! [name removed]’s team showed true integrity with their honesty with issues that arose. [name removed] was very informative and pleasant during our walkthroughs. There was a lot of transparency throughout the process and obvious pride in the work from Stylecraft that we really appreciated. The whole process never felt like “just another transaction” from anyone involved.

The laundry room door was built in the wrong place and has to be torn out and reframed in the correct position. Once this is done we will be able to close it with our wash machine in the right position.

We can't truly evaluate this question, because it was a bit too quick for us due to our circumstances with needing a home immediately for out kids who just got accepted to A&M. We didn't have enough time to completely search and evaluate potential homes.
