Overall, they have been great to work with. Everyone I have come into contact with has been great as far as customer service and willingness to help me as a new homeowner. So far, any issues that have come up have been resolved in a timely manner. One thing, I do want to call to attention that is not necessarily having to do with warranty, more so with construction, as someone who is new to the community and wants to keep it looking nice, I noticed when my home was going through construction that there was a lot of trash left behind by contractors. As a homeowner, a lot of that trash and debris is now blowing into my property, and while that is not a huge deal, for people with pets and children, who can easily get into things, it can be an issue. In addition to keeping the community appearance nice. While it is a construction zone, and I can understand that, there are a lot of times where it seems like the contractors don’t clean up after they are finished. An example would be the sidewalk behind some completed houses on our street. They are covered in dirt and debris, which makes it more difficult for people with dogs and strollers to walk. Just something to consider!

One thing they could do better is: Despite what the national energy code recommends for main cold water supply line, it could insulate the water line better within the envelope of the home as it comes up from underground through an exterior wall with no insulation and the piping itself is insulated with a thin foam type pipe insulation. For a small amount more cost that could be done better. Despite that the home is a quality buld.

I think the people in the office are probably doing what they are suppose to. Not going to go into details, but seems to be difficult sometimes to get certain things redone the right way. My main concern is the yard. I water it less than recommended, but no matter what day I mow the lawn, my lawnmower and shoes are always muddy. This is my first home and I’m just really dissatisfied.
