I have liked my experience with Stylecraft because they really made the process of purchasing my home easy. Everyone that was involved from getting my house ready to inspecting were very friendly and helpful. I have bought multiple homes from different companies and so far Stylecraft has been one of the companies that has been more involved to make sure that the homeowner gets the best experience at the end.

I liked the fact that they welcome you with open arms. Explained everything in detail. Anything that need resolved, they handled. In a timely manner. Depending on what issues you may have had. For the most part everything was great.

At the start, we were happy with our experience. [name removed] was great. Being first time buyers was an experience. I will say though, I requested at the start to change the bathroom and was told no which was disappointing. They asked if it was a deal breaker and when I said no it felt like they took the easy way and didn’t make the changes. I haven’t been happy with our warranty experience as a whole. It has felt like a lot of what we pointed out was “done to spec” (yard not level, walls not square, water heater issue, AC issues, etc.) while being obvious poor craftsmanship or not correct. We had a yard guy out to look at fertilizing and before even talking about leveling he said this was the worst leveling job he’d ever seen. We have since paid over $1K to get the front yard completely releveled. We have a current issue with our shower door where it was looked at and then our warranty manager just left without resolution or talking to us.

The thing I liked the most was the way I was treated by [name removed] and [name removed] with [name removed]. They were the ones who walked with us through the house for the blue tape visit. They were very respectful and were quick to help us get settled in to our new home.

I liked the ease of experience, the people I worked with, and there was no surprises throughout the entire process. Dislikes would be attention to detail with overspray paint on interior, and minor things like securing the rear door with a wood screw that I can still see where it was after finished. It has zero impact, and no one besides me will notice it, but I think the rear door could have been secured without putting a hole in it lol. These are minor and knit pick style complaints, but if I would change anything in the future it would be working with your team to help with that attention to detail. Also, I wish I could have seen all of the possible furnishings and upgrades outside of the Stylecraft office. I understand why this couldn't happen, but making upgrade choices in a meeting window probably led to me not understanding the full breadth of what [name removed] could offer.

The co [name removed], financing and working with that office was nothing like I expected nor believe it was handled I. The most professional manner like the sales and warranty department.

Contract through closing was very quick and easy. All involved were very professional and responsive. During our first walkthrough, we mentioned the floors looked very scuffed up and worn. There was paint spatter on the floors. We were assured they only needed to be cleaned. The walk through an hour before closing, we again asked about the terrible condition of the floors and were told the cleaners would be taking care of them. When we entered the house after closing and saw that the floors remained in poor condition we immediately felt extremely disappointed and regretful when we should have been very happy. It has been almost two weeks and we are still waiting for the floors to be assessed to know what the plan is for remedying the situation. We cannot unpack everything or set up all of our furniture until this has been resolved.
