We really enjoyed the customer service of style craft as a whole. Everyone was great to work with no issues at all there. I have lived here my whole life and honestly from back in the 90s stylecraft was always a budget house and ammendites but going forward they have definitely gotten better on offering modern design. Also the ac units were a higher end [name removed] ac unit which has proven to be a pretty nice and efficient ac with lower power consumption. All of this being said, one thing we were disappointed with was found out after we moved in which is something no one really discusses. The power from the game room and the 4th bedroom upstairs share the same 15 amp breaker. What this means is that if my even uses an iron and im running maybe 3 amps in the game room the breaker trips. This is now an additional thing after buying our brand new home we have to deal with. They basically took the floor plan from a 4 bedroom with no game room added the game room and branched off electrical to save money on the build. Carpet is coming off the stairs slightly which we will have to figure out how to deal with. We had installed a garage door opener which had been pre wired during the build which the wires were defective in the wall and was causing problems with not being operational and would require the wall being cut and figure out where the bad wire was. I will say stylecraft at this level was not to blame it would be there electrical contractor. He tried before opening the wall, running a wire outside of the wall and wiping his hands. I let stylecraft know that this was unacceptable and stylecraft promptly got them back out. I think some of the contractors they use should be evaluated and possibley changed. Electrical is a big one with these multiple issues. The other contractor I would evaluate is the plumbers. I do feel that some of the fixtures you can tell are pretty cheap. I imagine the all the sinks in the house and there fixtures are 20 dollars or less. If they just added slightly better quality it wouldn't be such a big deal. We did have a leak under our sink caused by a hole in the garbage disposal which caused some wood warp which again stylecraft promptly came out and fixed. Stylecraft as a whole has greatly improved over the years. The counters tops are great looking granite no complaints there. The only thing I can say I was disappointed is that I pointed out scratches out on the counters which we do have several that were there in upstairs and down before we moved in. After mentioning this to stylecraft they did offer to replace some of these but did say that there is no guarantee that the new granite wont have scratches as well... we didn't want to risk tearing up the brand new home in risk we might get worse than where we started.. so we opted to just settle for the counter tops. Hopefully the drainage will not be a problem to the pattern on how everything drains. Out backyard left side drains under our fence to the left. If at sometime when the new house gets built my water will be draining in the back yard of my neighbor. If my neighbor ever retaliated and blocked that port from draining I now have to build a French drain or something which at that point I would be very upset.... Time will only tell. All these negatives aside I do love the style of the house. The size of the house is great and again more modern ammendites. Tons of cabinet space which is a plus. I do want to thank Stylecraft for everything and would recommend them for economics and style!

The quality definitely isn’t what we pay for. It’s cheaply made and when I bring up issues, I’m told it’s common and my responsibility.

Most disliked: FHA interest rate changed to a different plan; so price of house went up $1000.
