When my family first started our journey with Stylecraft at Turnbo Ranch, we were beyond excited. We’d heard wonderful things and couldn’t wait to begin building what we hoped would be our dream home. Unfortunately, that excitement was short-lived. Right after locking in our date and signing the contract, everything began to unravel. We were suddenly faced with multiple versions of contracts, each containing different information and dates and ultimately had to sign 13 separate addendums just to move forward. What should’ve taken 2–3 days to finalize ended up dragging on for two weeks, mostly due to Stylecraft, the lender, and other parties not being on the same page. During that time, my family was left completely in the dark. No one communicated with us, and we started to wonder if we’d done something wrong. Nearly a month later, we finally learned that the delay was because the promotional interest rate we were promised and signed for was no longer available, and [name removed] was scrambling to find the funds to honor it. I do appreciate that they eventually kept that promise, but the complete lack of communication made what should have been an exciting milestone one of the most stressful experiences of our lives. Once construction started, the problems continued. I had to specifically request that I no longer be in contact with the original Superintendent, because his behavior was aggressive, dismissive, and unprofessional. I often felt uncomfortable and unheard during walk-throughs. By the time we got to our orientation and blue-tape walkthrough, there were so many issues both from our third-party inspection and what we could visibly see. When we returned a week later before our final walkthrough, very few of those issues were actually fixed, even though the Superintendent had marked everything as “complete.” That was the final straw. My husband and I made the difficult decision to terminate our contract. We were asked to meet with [name removed] at Turnbo Ranch to explain our decision. Present were the Sales [name removed], my husband and I, our realtor ([name removed]) the Superintendent, and the Vice President (via phone). As I began explaining our experience, the Superintendent yelled at me, accused me of lying, and completely dismissed the photos and documentation I had brought. It was humiliating, unnecessary, and incredibly unprofessional. My concerns weren’t directed solely at him, they reflected a long list of communication failures and construction issues, but his reaction confirmed that we were making the right choice by walking away. I left that meeting in tears, determined never to deal with [name removed] again. Then something unexpected happened. Just minutes later, I received a phone call from the Vice President, who sincerely apologized for everything I had been through. She not only refunded our earnest money but also asked how they could make things right. Shortly after, my realtor ([name removed]) came to speak with me, and [name removed] offered to make amends by finding us a new home that better fit our family’s needs. They kept our original low interest rate, offered a larger, upgraded home, included a refrigerator, garage door opener, and closing costs, and promised that the process would be different this time and it truly was. With the new Superintendent, everything changed. He was respectful, responsive, and genuinely cared about doing things the right way. The construction was much better, communication was consistent, and every concern I raised was handled promptly. Our second orientation and inspection went smoothly, with far fewer issues to fix. By closing day, every item on our list was taken care of. We’ve now been in our new home for a month, and while small issues have popped up (as expected with new construction), they’ve been addressed quickly and professionally. What started as one of the worst experiences my family has ever had turned into something we’re now truly thankful for. When the Vice President told me, “This is not what our company stands for, and we’ll do whatever it takes to make it right,” they meant it. Stylecraft ultimately lived up to their values as a family-owned business that believes in passion, hard work, and delivering a positive experience. To the new Turnbo Ranch team and leadership, thank you for restoring my faith in the process and helping my family find our first home.

I have not occupied the home yet. I thought the title company was somewhat unresponsive with an estimate of my cash requirements, but am otherwise satisfied with stylecraft and the buying process.

My yard was never graded so therefore I have spent over $3000 to fix the issue that is still not fixed. That does not include the uneven front yard that I will have to fix. I don’t care to turn in work orders because why do so if I have to deal with [name removed] who makes me feel like I’m in the wrong. I don’t understand why anyone would build houses with the back doors right next to each other that I now realize I have no privacy in my back yard or even dinning room because I can hear the neighbors. It has been a terrible experience compared to when I bought my previous house from Ashford.

We love our floor plan and find it unique and well thought out and so far most of our spaces seem very functional and materials are durable. We have noticed some improvements in some areas that could definitely be made. We had some corrections done in our master shower before closing and it seems that they were quickly done or possibly not sealed correctly. Now, the stone in our shower is breaking down and crumbling. Also, it seems as if the appliances were put in and damaged some of the cabinets in the process. Now there is peeling happening on the wood along those damaged parts. Also, in our attic, the wires and ducts seem very thrown all over the place. Not organized or placed in any way that seems safe.

All of the employees treated me like family. They went the extra mile and seemed as excited for me as I was for myself. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about [name removed]’s team members as well as how solid these homes are made. I love my home from top to bottom and am just as thrilled with it as the first day I stepped foot in it. I will recommend a Styecraft home to anyone.

The house we originally was sold out from underneath us. Our offer wasn't acknowledged. We gave the company a second chance and got to closing day with none of the walk through items completed. We were left in a hotel until resolved.

I have had no dislikes. I had an easy streamlined process from start to finish. My wife and I are already considering getting a second property.

Stop using Rheem brand water heaters. Their QC is dog XXXXX , and they're known to have issues. Mine was installed a little over a year ago and is now failing intermittently.
