Warranty department is so slow. Even with Covid considerations, i am home all the time. I am available, but i have sagging floors, creaking and popping floors, and cabinets that have sank and come loose from the wall. I have a couple issues. No home is perfect. [name removed] I am handy. I am older and this is my 6th home. [name removed] is a good man. But my issues need to be address before my one year mark.

We are fairly displeased with our overall experience with our new [name removed] home. While it is far from a disaster, given the substantial investment and trust we put in [name removed] to build our 2nd home (1st new home was built by [name removed] as well), we would not recommend [name removed] again to our friends and coworkers. The building process was extremely rushed with large amounts of time with no activity, putting us and the builder in a position where a huge amount of work was required in the last week or two leading up to closing. This also presented an overwhelming amount of items we had to review, process and correct at the last minute. The highlight is the fact we didn't even have power until days before closing. No doubt that had a huge impact on the quality and craftsmanship. We have uneven spots in floors, poor tile, grouting around tile and showers. Due to a water issue in our crawlspace, we have had excessive settling with the major issue being baseboards and cabinets pulling away from walls in our kitchen. Creaking in bonus room entry which was present at closing was called out and argued by the builder that it was normal. This problem is much, much worse now. Backyard was unlevel and poor sod that was brought in required me to spend quite a bit of money of seeding this fall. Water runoff from neighbors yard was not addressed after being raised to the builder after closing. Overall, the grading was terrible. Both of my neighbors yards are built up and mine is at the low point between them and way more flat. Landscaping is night and day difference between what we got and what our neighbors received. Everything is called out on our warranty request, but overall when it comes to overall experience and quality, this is really, really poor given our investment. Lastly, we are now waiting 1.5 months for a response from warranty dept after at least one followup after submission.

Build has been great. Warranty and follow up after closing has been extremely lacking. I don't feel that [name removed] Company warranty values us or takes our concerns seriously. Little to no follow up even after multiple calls to them. Very disappointed in the warranty service.

Basically, it starts with the attitude once you've closed. If there's an issue, you call the plumber, the electric people, the hvac people.

Our builder, [name removed], has been very cooperative and helpful. We recently submitted our 90 day warranty request but it has not been addressed yet. Hence, we can't comment on that aspect.

We absolutely love our home. The [name removed] Company provided many different floor plan Options in our price range and the quality of the construction is great. We were given a weekly construction updates even before we broke ground. This continued all throughout the build and our builder contact ([name removed]) was awesome and always available if we had questions. He has even checked in with us after the close of the home to see if we have been satisfied. In addition - [name removed] in the Sales office was great at providing updates and feedback. If something needed to be addressed on the home it was handled swiftly and with open communication. We couldn’t ask for better customer care. Thank you!

[name removed] was a fantastic sales person to work with. He knew all the answers to my questions and was always so kind even when I had a thousand questions. He set proper expectations so I felt like I knew what was going to happen every step of the way. The way the contracts and paperwork is done is the best I've seen in new construction. I am in the mortgage lending biz so I see a lot of builder contracts, addendums, price change forms, etc and I really appreciated the organization of everything. [name removed] and [name removed] were our builders. They are both so friendly and you can tell they want to deliver a great product to buyers. I loved having the weekly phone call updates about the progress. It was always nice to know what was going on. I was impressed with the builders' knowledge about every little step and they explained things well when we had questions. I could tell they cared about how we would function in the home when they made decisions about where to put things, etc. They didn't just care about building it fast and getting it done quickly.

Our company's homebuyer experience process includes weekly update calls from the builder and sales person (or e-mails - whatever the homebuyer prefers) . I am sorry that we are unable to interpret the reasons for the star rating based upon the comment.

There was always open communication with [name removed] in the sales office. Whenever I had a concern arise during the building process [name removed] was quick to rectify it with [name removed] or [name removed]. These three were a blessing to work with. They made the process seamless and any concerns we had were quickly and professionally handled.
