I was told by the sales manager that certain things came in the home so there would be no need to upgrade. That however was not the case and by the time I realized, it couldn’t be added. (Comfort height toilet in master, garage door keypad). Secondly my wife and I were told by the guardian systems representative that if we signed up for their security system for a three year contract, the first year would be covered by the [name removed] company. That apparently is not the case either.

[name removed] company kept to the schedule for building the house. Some of the preparation of the grounds for the new grass was not done well.

I have liked the easy access to submit a request for warranty service. All but 1 warranty service request have been fulfilled. Still waiting on drywall damage from the builder to be repaired but other than that, everything has been taken care of to my knowledge.

Home seems well built to current day standards. Would have liked to have known options and pricing for each up front in order to prioritize and make better decisions. Got email from follow-up person, but he never showed up. Everyone was very nice to work with. I would recommend [name removed] to others.

Our design studio appointment had only one [name removed]'s Co. staff member onsite and had scheduled an additional 2 people during our appointment. The other two people received about 85 - 90% of the [name removed]'s Co. staff time, and even though we didn't have issues, thinking back on the appointment, it would have been great to have been able to ask more questions and/or receive better guidance. We wish there were more upfront evidence of what we would be getting so we could have made better decisions on potential upgrades. We really didn't know what fully to expect until after the hardware was installed and/or what comes installed by default, etc. Having a digital website rendering in detail what the interior of the home would look like in the end with the fixtures, colors, etc., would have been really helpful too. Also, having a display of options for the exterior like what deck designs can be done, what is offered, what options look like, and what all can be done would have been helpful as well. The final thing is making sure the underground utilities are easily accessible by any vendor who needs to connect their services as we are still having problems with AT&T being able to access the left-side underground conduit as of December 7, 2020.

Scheduling was fine; overall house finishes are nice. [name removed] builds a fairly nice house and it is nice to be involved with the selection of finishes. Landscaping and overall quality of the neighborhood leaves a lot to be desired.

Our internet set up the day after closing was not possible because of the construction across the street caused the At&T tech to balk at his setup and delay our service for almost a month.

They responded well to problem with garage door making a popping noise. Also, lights in garage needed some attention and they took care of it quickly. We had requested a keypad for opening garage door that was overlooked by all of us and they came out quickly too on that one.

We were graded off a cliff (back yard)- at time of purchase our lot was flat, at time of signing/closing, we got a steep grade in back part of our lot. We will be contacting jones to fix this issue for us as we have now invested over $100,000 to put in retaining wall.

I like the ease of the whole home building experience. Honestly, there is not much that I disliked. If I had to pick something though, it would be that I went through 3 double ovens within the first 2 weeks of move-in and that wasn't even [name removed]' fault. [name removed] did provide superb service getting them corrected, ordered and installed.

That our lot looked completely different from time contract was signed to when house was delivered to us. Our lot was presented to us as almost flat lot and when house was delivered to us, we were left with about 40% of our back yard on a steep hill that was NOT that way at time of contract signing or when foundation was put in. We have all the pictures to show previous and current grading.

We loved the weekly updates and handbook/booklet we received. It gave us awesome information and it was easy to keep up with the steps. We didn’t like that there was no opportunity to make small changes after the design studio appointment. Some things were explained to us with lots of misunderstanding such as the brick we wanted to add in the back and a gas stove we were supposed to have but now we have an electric cooktop. The huge part that bothers us is the backyard. It is a great size but we were told that there would be a retaining wall in the back. I stead we have a huge hill that cannot be used at all. The lot was flat but now we have a large hill and a sloppy yard.

The [name removed] Company did not grade the building site correctly nor did they consider water run-off throughout my street. My yard has standing water when it rains. It appears that [name removed] Company were cheap and did not want to spend the money for the proper infrastructure.
