Woodside homes is very responsive and customer service oriented. When we had issues, we were contacted in a very timely matter. However, one thing we were upset about was the fact that our heating system was never properly evaluated. It wasn't until we started using the furnace that we found out we had issues. [name removed] technician revealed to us that, because of the repairs that had to be done, the system was not checked for proper operation nor did anyone check the unit for debris. We found out that there was a bird's nest that had been inside the unit and when the furnace turned on, it sucked up all this debri against the heat exchanger. So for 2+ weeks, we had been cycling this filtered bird's nest air throughout our home. And since the unit was not pre-ran, we had a burnt smell every time we used the furnace. This makes us wonder what else was missed during the construction of our home. Will we have more issues because of negligence? Will these issues occur when the warranty expires?

So far ive been given the run around about a fix that i last requested about a exhaust cap that melted on the side of my home . I was told at first that its not a part that's covered and there is nothing they will do. I then told the woodside homes representive that i will proceed with legal action if nothing is done. It was only a few months in and im already getting the round around! [removed] representative was really nice and did try to help but the builders were given him instructions on what to tell me. They did a temporary fix and told me if it happens again theres nothing that can be done. It put him in a bad position and placed a horrible imprint on the image of what woodside is supposed to be. When I put a down on the home the representative at the cottages office put my 10k deposit under my sisters house instead of mine ! I under stand mistakes happen but luckily it was my sister and not some stranger , I settled it with my sister and had to review documents to insure it did indeed go into her closing costs. So far i would not recommend woodside home to no one. I plan on buying another home in the future. This is my 3rd home i purchased and the first time with this builder. Never have i experienced this in my previous purchases. To simplify my response, I love the house but I hate the experience so far!

I have faxed you regarding some issue that I have and plus my one-year warranty will get expired next month I was expecting someone to contact me but on one did I faxed the paper work 11/12/18 I am not happy with the service that you provide the only time I got the great service when I first come to see the house which now I know why because I was paying money to buy house but after the bank paid the full money it seems like on one cares any more Whoever is the in charge of your management they should come visit the residence and ask their feedback about their employee if the really cares about his job and customers

It was the worst experience. It took 5 months for service to fix my electrical issues at my house. I was unable to do laundry from the day I moved in. Didn't seem to be a top priority for Woodside to address. This should have been taken care of within a week of moving in at the most. You would think that Woodside would have at least given me a gift card or something for the huge inconvenience. It blows my mind that this happened!

This is been a very dissatisfying experience of the home purchase. It took several and repeated attempts on our part to request customer service with and return calls on responded to emails for substantial lengths of time. Then a multitude of scheduling and rescheduling issues or no-shows by the customer service providers . Further there was changes in staff which created even more of a problem. We are almost in the home six months, and still have unfulfilled request from our 30 day check in and customer service repairs request. Further after multiple and I do mean multiple request to be given access online to your home for service repairs there continues to be a failure to make this happen. This has been an extremely frustrating and disappointing part of this process.

Lots of problems with the solar company. They just contacted me a week ago to set up online monitoring. We closed on the house in September. Solar wasn’t done when we closed took a couple of months to set up net meter etc. I installed solar on my other home with a different company and everything was better!

Fit and finish of my home is unfinished. I had them come in and repair and pait items that should have been done before delivery. My AC unit does not get cool below 85 degrees. My ethernet wiring splitter box in master closet doesn't work. My WAP WiFi cable has no ethernet end to hook up the accesspoint. Three x's a about 5:15 am in my front yard a burst of water spills allover my drive way like a release value. My pants are dying in the front yard, my grass is crap...from day 1.

There were some options that we didn't find out until after we selected our options that were not included standard like: dual A/C (no thermostat upstairs). Woodside has been excellent in addressing concerns and issues that have come up since moving in. However our home wasn't ready until 3 months after it was originally scheduled.

[removed] timeline was not met. There were long lists of things that needed to be fixed when we moved in. Communication pretty much dropped off once we got into the house. We had to persue all of our needs and be persistent in order to get someone to help. There are still a few things in the house that aren't fixed or have issues. We had to call about and persue our inspections rather than being contacted. We love the house, but the process was not ideal and there are still a few things that need to be addressed with the workmanship in the house.

My house buying experience with Woodside Homes was very disappointing and frustrating. My house closed and I was told AFTERWARDS! Never received my first walk through, pushed my house through and I ended up with an incomplete mess. BROKEN PROMISES, appointments not met damage to my house by workers. My front entry & door still is a mess. Everyday when I come home I see this mess left behind promised to be fixed an hasn't been. Key components like fronts steps were not done. Disappointing.

This is been a very dissatisfying experience of the home purchase. It took several and repeated attempts on our part to request customer service with and return calls on responded to emails for substantial lengths of time. Then a multitude of scheduling and rescheduling issues or no-shows by the customer service providers . Further there was changes in staff which created even more of a problem. We are almost in the home six months, and still have unfulfilled request from our 30 day check in and customer service repairs request. Further after multiple and I do mean multiple request to be given access online to your home for service repairs there continues to be a failure to make this happen. This has been an extremely frustrating and disappointing part of this process.

Lots of problems with the solar company. They just contacted me a week ago to set up online monitoring. We closed on the house in September. Solar wasn’t done when we closed took a couple of months to set up net meter etc. I installed solar on my other home with a different company and everything was better!

Fit and finish of my home is unfinished. I had them come in and repair and pait items that should have been done before delivery. My AC unit does not get cool below 85 degrees. My ethernet wiring splitter box in master closet doesn't work. My WAP WiFi cable has no ethernet end to hook up the accesspoint. Three x's a about 5:15 am in my front yard a burst of water spills allover my drive way like a release value. My pants are dying in the front yard, my grass is crap...from day 1.

[removed] timeline was not met. There were long lists of things that needed to be fixed when we moved in. Communication pretty much dropped off once we got into the house. We had to persue all of our needs and be persistent in order to get someone to help. There are still a few things in the house that aren't fixed or have issues. We had to call about and persue our inspections rather than being contacted. We love the house, but the process was not ideal and there are still a few things that need to be addressed with the workmanship in the house.

I have faxed you regarding some issue that I have and plus my one-year warranty will get expired next month I was expecting someone to contact me but on one did I faxed the paper work 11/12/18 I am not happy with the service that you provide the only time I got the great service when I first come to see the house which now I know why because I was paying money to buy house but after the bank paid the full money it seems like on one cares any more Whoever is the in charge of your management they should come visit the residence and ask their feedback about their employee if the really cares about his job and customers

I did not meet the "builder" per se. However, few requests to the employees of the sale office did not come thru: I asked for spare roof tiles and spare floor tiles. Nothing.
