What I disliked about the purchase process was the lack of flexibility in design choices. I wish we had more options to customize certain features, like being able to modify the closets in each room or even opt out of installing closets altogether. It would have been great to have more control over these details to better suit our specific needs and preferences.

I’m satisfied with the people I’ve interacted with at Akel Homes. The communication has been consistently great, and I’ve always felt like my concerns and questions were taken seriously. Akel truly listens to its homeowners, making us feel like part of a family. Whenever I needed clarification or assistance, they were quick to respond and provide helpful solutions. This personalized approach is why I would recommend them, though there are still areas where I feel improvements could be made.

I know a lot of people who had very bad experiences with home builders with all of the issues that they had to deal with. My experience with Akel has been nothing short of amazing from the sales team to the construction team to the customer service area when issues have accrued. Issues were and are expected but the manner and timely response and delivery of the issues has been outstanding!

A lot of options and customization of the home that allowed to put our own personal touch on it. Also the portal that provided pictures and other updates throughout the construction process.

So far Akel has been responsive to any questions, concerns, or issues we may have had during the entire building process and since closing. In addition Akel was very proactive in keeping us updated on the progress of our home during construction.
