A little west so there are not alot of restaurants or convenience stores available. However, we feel we are on our own little vacation home on a huge lake lot. It's nice and quiet.

Excellent customer service and they treat you like family. They are far superior than any other builder we have dealt with in our 32 years in Florida.From being greeted by a friendly professional team to the closing and beyond, no other company comes close. The entire Akel family will make you feel that you made the right choice and they have been on time with all aspects of the process. The website "MyAkel" is unique and incredible wealth of information from stored documents to weekly photos of your home as it is being built.

I wasn't seriously looking for a home but completely fell in love when I came to the grand opening. Everything has been amazing from beginning to end. To say I now have my dream house would be an understatement. My wife and I couldn't be happier with our new home. The attention to detail is beyond anything I've ever seen. Akel Homes truly built our dream house. Even after closing, they are incredible with the amount of services and amenities they offer. They're more than a builder. They actually care about the communities they put together.

I’m a few minutes away from PGA in an area that’s gonna blow up in the next 10 years. If anything I can be happier about the location. Besides it being our dream home, that’s a tremendous investment.

What I disliked about the purchase process was the lack of flexibility in design choices. I wish we had more options to customize certain features, like being able to modify the closets in each room or even opt out of installing closets altogether. It would have been great to have more control over these details to better suit our specific needs and preferences.

I’m satisfied with the people I’ve interacted with at Akel Homes. The communication has been consistently great, and I’ve always felt like my concerns and questions were taken seriously. Akel truly listens to its homeowners, making us feel like part of a family. Whenever I needed clarification or assistance, they were quick to respond and provide helpful solutions. This personalized approach is why I would recommend them, though there are still areas where I feel improvements could be made.
