The overall contract process was smooth and straightforward. I appreciate [name removed]’s dedication to finalizing the sale, as he even prepared the paperwork while on vacation. However, there were challenges after the contract was signed. The home remained on the market for a few months, and some issues remained unresolved, such as a missing over-[name removed] cabinet in the master bathroom and a malfunctioning heater. During the home inspection and orientation, these concerns were brought to the project manager’s attention, but they were not addressed until the day of closing. Many of the items noted during the orientation were not corrected in time for the final walkthrough and were only fixed on closing day. The most significant issue was the missing blinds, which were included in the contract before signing but were not purchased by the company until after closing. This was particularly frustrating because I chose to pay a premium to ensure the blinds were installed before moving in, but that did not happen. Even more disappointing was that I began checking with [name removed] three weeks before closing—and continued following up weekly—to confirm the blinds had been ordered, yet they were still not installed or even purchased in time.

I love my home. [name removed], my project manager, was a joy to work with and has great attention to detail. My biggest complaint is that I was told that the price of my fence would be worked into my loan so that I didn't have to come out of pocket to pay for the fence. I called twice to check on it and emailed numerous times after closing with no response.
