Overall obvious repairs that could have been avoided. Walls, floor not aligned, uneven all over the house. Doors not closing properly. Windows not squared off by a lot not like it was off by a inch or two. Dryer vent cap not installed at all causing rain water to get into the house in the attic and make its damage all the way down to first floor ceiling. Foul odors coming from shower drains. Rain water coming in from front and back door. Garage door not properly aligned as well as the garage foundation not properly aligned. The electrical outlet in the breakfast area, dinning room, living room, outside outlet plugs breaker always tripping. Just to mention a few things we’ve experienced during short first year of owning the home.

Besides that, it’s been a pain to ask for help. I’ve been waiting for the water filter that I was promised for the past 6 months

One: Home was not completed on time, weeks later than promised. Two: Over all quality of the home, unacceptable; low quality work. Three: home was given with many pending issues, for example grout work was poor quality. They came back to fix it, and grout is still showing signs of cement etc. Also on grout, after flooring was installed, there was no care while continuing construction, some areas of the new flooring were stained and cleaning crew failed to removed them. When they came back to fix grout, the floor was stained on some areas worse than it was before.

Grout for master shower tile at the top, installation of lower/bottom shower faucet in second restroom/shower, unfinished painting throughout house, loose tile, poor cleaning of floor when given the house (boot marks with mud and large smudges), damaged kitchen cabinets that have yet to be replaced among other things.

Still lacking some things to be repaired. Ceiling fan blades were scratched one tile was broken, AC not cooling the lower half of the house. Also a crack in one of the boards on the fence and some doors need adjustments

The sales department and customer care gave me reliable contact persons for installing my kitchen appliances. Although miscommunications happened in significant amounts, I was still able to have everything done. One small yet important detail that will be difficult in the future is the location of the dishwasher slot. I am not able to open a kitchen drawer beside it unless I open the dishwasher. The drawer hits the dishwasher handle all the time. I couldn't return the dishwasher since it was a set. But all in all, Armadillo homes are the best

Good Afternoon, I pray that you all are well. I am a little dissatisfied with the customer service that me and my family are receiving with Armadillo (Laredo). Before we close we walked the house and it was noted that there is an existing issue with my floor, it makes a noise when you walk over it and it sounds like a bar moves behind the wall (2nd floor master bedroom) they have not been able to address it and no one has been professionally about it and approached me (no one has been to my house to re-visit the issue. I have sent messages to [name removed] and Mr. [name removed] and Mr. [name removed] says that they cant take care of it because the workers dont like to wear face masks? really? I guess they forget that we speak between each other (neighboors) and I know for a fact that they already went to one of my neighbors house and fix the roof. The second thing and I already mentioned it on a different email that the feces on all 3 of my restrooms dont flush (You are more than welcomed to go to my house and use the toilet so you can see how disgusting it is to see that the feces dont go unless you flush like 6 or 7 times and you use a toilet brush (My water bill is too high - sewer). I already asked 3 of my neighbors and they have the same issue. I humbly ask for someone to help me with my problem.

The move in date was pushed back at times due to weather issues but [name removed] was always quick to respond and help with anything that was needed. Mr. [name removed] was also very involved in asnwering any questions we had. Overall we had a great experience and are extremely happy with our home.

From the first time I entered Armadillo home model home, I was treated as friend. She greeted us and welcomed us in. We told her what we wanted and she explained about the different homes and gave us a tour. We immediately felt in love with [name removed]. Then we were told that we were going to be assisted by another Sales person and he was more amazing, he would contact us to explain everything that was happening as the house was being built. We called him to arrange meetings whenever we had a question or concern. He would always have an answer or would find out, meet us to see the different phases of the building of the house. At the last walk around the house with the builder before closing, we were treated as Royalty, he explained everything about the house and also took his time to answer our questions. It was so amazing and I still can’t believe that moment when I was given the door to my new Armadillo House. Thank you Mr.[name removed] [name removed] for all you did for us!

What I do not like is that certain items inside and outside of the home need to be completely taken care of and only partial care is applied. For example, the ground outside (grass) is very unleveled and we, workers, and family have stumbled because their are depressions all over the the perimeter of the house. Customer care only added dirt (patched it) which is still unleveled. Dirt was only added where sprinkle system are at. Armadillo only covers the surface not the whole problem. Our front door keeps having issues as to light coming in, but they only added padding instead of fixing the door or the frame. My door is still very unleveled.

I have had to place multiple calls to multiple people for certain issues that we have had the house. It should not have to be that way, if you have a Maintenance Manager/Director that person should answer your call at Any given time. It’s extremely unprofessional for a person with such capacity to not answer or return ones call in an appropriate amount of time.
