I was not satisfied with the beginning, middle or the end of the whole process. Let’s start with the beginning we met with the sales representative name [name removed]. My husband and I went to one of the open houses was pleased with one of the model but not sold. We ask if there were any other he explained yes they were but they were in Mediran Ranch. If we saw one there can be build in [name removed] [name removed]. We thought great. We drove down looked at some other models feel in love with [name removed] [name removed]. We went back told [name removed] for sure we want the [name removed]. Let’s start the paperwork. He said sure we looked at a lot on some paper pick lot 256. However there was no paper we sign if even ask where for actual paperwork. He said that he would have to draw it up and be in touch. Fast forward 6 weeks I reach out to [name removed] just to find out he no long work with the company. So the dream lot was gone. Come to find out we were one of three other couple promised the same lot. Okay moving right along we meet with another sales rep name [name removed]. We pick a lot but not exactly what we wanted once again a settle. But it was [name removed] [name removed] so we continue with the process. Now it’s time to pick the colors of the home we couldn’t have the color we really wanted because one of the couple that was promised lot 256 went before we did got their colors. Since their choice was what we wanted we had to choose a different color because they couldn’t have the same colors together again a settle. We also was told we would receive a phone call to select where we wanted the cable outlet. Never received that call they just put them where they wanted them to go. I know your problemly thinking we should have been more pro active. But no it’s not our job to stay on top of someone doing their job.Now the end we move in we hired an electrician to come out to change the plug on our dry. We think we’re ready to do laundry wrong. My son began to wash and all hell break out. [name removed] washer drain is clogged water is every where. It’s coming out of the ceiling downstairs. It flowed into the living room. Thank goodness my mother was there to get it under control. Because of someone incompetence we had to live with machine running for a week to dry the drywall and carpet. A week without a good night sleep. Still in the process of getting the drywall repaired, the carpet repaired. [name removed] warranty rep [name removed] was very fast to respond that was a blessing . I have to admit he has been the only person that I meet who is associated with Aspen View that seem to know what’s going on. What a DREAM [name removed]

Follow up with me has been atrocious. I have repeatedly gotten policy over customer satisfaction stated to me. [name removed] only time anything can be repaired is during business hours in which I work and have no one over 18 at home. Additionally trim is falling off, door knobs are falling off, ventilation fans were installed crooked and falling off, and electrical outlets are falling off. When I speak to the warranty personAll I get is an excuse and a schedule for repairs that’s incompatible with mine. Additionally, he stated policy that cosmetic trim on my garage is not covered.

I have purchased the [name removed] home with the idea that it will be mine forever home. It’s not getting the experience that I expected. I understand it will not be perfect there for a year warranty after for the house. However, there are some items I am not sure who is responsible and I would need someone from the company-aspens View to step in take a look and fix these. 1) the foundation has a crack, which is my first concern. 2) On my first day of moving in, found out the laundry room did not fix a new washer dryer. It’s a new build 2021 and can’t fix a standard appliance - they explained code changes…. Well if the code changes the architect and engineers should reevaluate the plan. How do I live in a house that I can’t do normal laundry? 3) the house has really bad isolation. With the noise by the street behind. I have not had a good night of sleep since I moved to this house. I hope someone from the company gets my message and step in provides me solutions. For you build and deliver and move to the next but for me, I will be stuck with this house forever. Thank you! [name removed] was a fantastic sales rep and took care of all our needs even after we had moved into our home. We disliked the lack of communication, and short-notice meetings while [name removed] was on maternity leave. [name removed] supervisors covering down for [name removed] appeared to be disorganized. However, [name removed] went above and beyond and reached out to us while on maternity leave. Overall, the experience has been great and we are confident in the quality of our home.

It was great, all coordinated and updated every step of the way. Rarely (if ever) did I need to initiate a call. Very attentive to me and they were ahead of schedule allowing an earlier closing and move in date.

We liked the communication between us and the aspen view team throughout the process. [name removed] weekly updates were great, allowed us to stay up to date on the progress, and gave us a chance to ask questions. One thing that we disliked was the changes that were made at the Aspen View headquarters regarding certain aspects of the home (tile vs fiber glass in showers, tile vs LVP floors for bathrooms, etc) We also disliked having to use set pallets for interior and exterior colors. We would've rather chosen each color ourselves vs the whole package. [name removed] VA requirements were unclear and we were told that we would be receiving window well covers that were not wood, and that we would be getting a rail alongside the backyard stairs. [name removed] VA inspector apparently didn't have a problem with them not being installed, and therefore Aspen View felt that they didn't need to install them after telling us that we would be receiving them.
