Purchasing a home can be a daunting process but as our first home purchase ever, I can’t express how easy and streamlined Aspen [name removed] made it. From the first steps of seeing the different models, [name removed] was professional and knowledgeable in all aspects. Once choosing our home, [name removed] and his team in the lending department were communicative and rockstars in making sure the loan terms could work for us. During our initial and final walkthroughs, contractor [name removed] was meticulous in finding all of the little flaws that I personally missed but would have noticed eventually, taping and noting everything that was eventually fixed before our final walkthrough. Down to the closing coordinator [name removed] who gave us a breakdown of schedules for everything to happen, and [name removed] the loan organizer, I can’t imagine this process going more smoothly than it did. Every homeowner I’ve spoken with has shared their gripes with the process of buying a home and honestly, I can’t relate. I have been, and will continue, praising Aspen [name removed] to all of our friends, family and customers who are in the market for a home or will be eventually. Thank you so much again for an amazing first home experience, we LOVE our Aspen [name removed] Home!

We most liked dealing with [name removed], the sales rep and [name removed], the supt. They both were easy to contact and ALWAYS responded promptly. Any questions or concerns were taken care of immediately. We enjoyed working with both of them.

My experience with Aspen [name removed] Homes, from signing the contract to moving in, was nothing short of exceptional. [name removed] and even [name removed] from the sales team were absolutely amazing—always helpful, supportive, and incredibly informative throughout the entire process. They took the time to answer all my questions, ensured I understood every step, and made the entire journey feel smooth and as stress-free as possible. On the construction side, [name removed] and [name removed] did a phenomenal job not only in building a high-quality home but also in walking my family and me through every detail. Their thorough explanations during our walkthroughs were both friendly and informative, giving us complete confidence in our new home. There are a lot of things in our house that are not well done. On a lot of our issues, we were told it wouldn't be covered or we had to wait a year to get it fixed.

All in all, we've been fairly pleased with the home. We've had a few minor issues after move-in that some, but not all, have been resolved. We don't like the dish washer. Silverware can only be put on the side of the drawer, requiring you to pull it out all the way to fill it properly. It would have been better to be on the door itself or on the front of the drawer. Glasses and bowls sit oddly on the shelves. We've replaced the shower heads. Hated the originals and they were too high for us to reach. I wish we could have specified the toilets. We would have requested the high profile with the elongated front. The standard [name removed] toilets are good though, so I have no complaint about the ones you supplied. I do wish you could place one ticket for all issues at the same time, but you can only refer one issue on a ticket since it is room based. From what I been told, you have to save up door issues because you can only refer door issues one time so since I have multiple door issues I am waiting until the 9th month to refer all of them when I have a warranty inspection done prior to the one year. The doors sound cheap. They have a hollow banging sound when you close them. We are not slamming them, they just sound cheap when being closed normally. I'll have to ask about this, is the door between the garage and interior supposed to be a self-closing fireproof door? It opens into the hallway so it may not have to be. I have a squeaky floor between the family room and hallway but looking at the homeowner's guide, it says it is not covered by the warranty. When the interior doors were painted, the paint pooled at the bottom making it look rather unprofessionally done. Maybe they were touched up while hanging? So far, I have not seen any cracks developing. I only have my previous home built in 1987 to compare to, but I had no door issues or squeaking floors for several years after move-in. In the 30+ years I lived there I only had to fix one door for not latching properly. I had no issues with it during the warranty period. Again, all in all, we do like the home. Hopefully, it will stand up over the years similar to our old home.

I’m still waiting for my hot water heater to be turned up. I put a request on the website for that. I would like for the rocks in my front to be fixed. This was due to the curb being fixed multiple times.
