Sales and closing process was easy and mostly pain free. Everyone was great to work with. That said, I’ve never had so many warranty issues on a new home. Frequent electrical problems: overloaded circuit, driveway light lasts about 2 weeks, garage door opener has to be frequently reprogrammed, microwave is venting into the kitchen instead of outside, roof vent blew off, A/C thermostats were reversed, i.e. upstairs controller downstairs and downstairs controlled upstairs. etc.

I was not contacted after 6 months to discuss any issues as was promised. The lack of touch up paint remains a sore spot. And I have noticed a few sloppy cuts on baseboard trim what just got painted over. I should have inspected the details more closely.

The “worry free” service for our yards has been nothing but worry free. They have not delivered what they said they would, we have to constantly chase people.

Likes: My sales representative, [name removed], and construction manager, [name removed], were very responsive, professional, realistic and easy to work with. I also really like the floorplan, dual sinks in 2nd bath, covered patio and fenced back yard. Dislike: during construction the site was extremely trashy (at one point the 2-car garage was waste deep in trash and the interior was very dirty even after flooring was installed so much so the dark color grout in the floors have discolored due to ground in sheet rock, paint and other debris (this was my 4th build and by far the most filthy).

No touch up paint provided. My request to add ceiling fans to bedrooms 2 and 3 was not builder supported. The dishwasher the property came with was absolute junk, it's been replaced with something suitable. The landscaping maintenance fails to meet my expectations. A complaint was sent to the HOA property manager. So far, I have not received a response from the property manager.

I liked the overall process from taking the tour of the house and sales manager walking us through all the amenties and future projects coming up and make us feel like welcome. builder orientation was great and fixing the things in time which we noticed before the closing and checking with us after we move in. Was so overwhelming. I would recommend everyone to go with Cadence homes for future purchase of there home
