Purchase Experience Testimonials from Real Homebuyers

Fairview, on Dec 19, 2021

I honestly like the sales staff and meeting with the builder/foreman. It was a pleasant experience. Overall though the quality of the workman ship leaves a lot to be desired. I’m still finding things where people just got sloppy and lazy. Paint drippage on doors, wrong putty used in places, caulking missing in areas. Your staff is nice, the workmanship and the quality of some of the products you use is mediocre.( ex carpet and pad- it’s cheap and terrible quality. You walk on my carpet and there is lumps and bumps. Especially feel it in bare feet or socks- Your carpet people say it can’t be fixed because it’s the quality of the pad, and you don’t recarpet homes. So I have a 350k home I just bought and I’ll have to spend 5-10k to recarpet or put in laminate to fix the issue.)

Overall a good experience. I had to follow up to get attic and garage cleaned out from building materials after moving in. I need to have some touch up things done before my year is up; some areas of my carpet are coming up, and there are a few areas between wall and door frames where the paint needs to be touched up. Overall, great experience, and I like my home very much.

Our sales rep did a good job of keeping us informed of progress/issues. She was very supportive and helpful. I did not like signing a contract without a price guarantee. I did not like the inability to make minor changes in the house such as decor selections, electrical outlets, etc. Corrections to identified problems are extremely slow and some have yet to be completed.

The interior painting job done in my townhouse. Your contractor put a ‘BASE’ paint and easily gets stained, i have to do a repaint in the first floor. Repaint needed at the second floor. My townhouse is [name removed] and the most expensive in all og townhouses you built in Apple [name removed]. It should have a better paint. The HVAC is under the standard tonnage of a 2,243 sq ft house! This should be from 4 to 4.5 tonner regardless of seers.. standard is 14 sheers. Yet the 16 you placed on a 3.5 tonner would still be NOT sufficient in a 2,243sq ft... this is just seasonal Energy Efficient Ratio but JUST the same a 3.5 tonner is SUBSTANDARD for a 2,243 sq ft... I NOTICED THAT THE TOWNHOUSE TRINITY THAT WAS BUILT PRIOR TO MY UNIT HAD A 4.5 TONNER! It is very upsetting to me, that you built a below standard HVAC for mu unit. Your TRINITY TOWNHOUSE IS NOT CHEAP and WE DESERVE MORE!

Interior paint is awful... can barely touch it without leaving a mark. Almost looks like they did not finish painting, looks like primer. Also, was told we would not hear our neighbors, FALSE. These are cheaply built, can hear our neighbors walking around in their home. Our bedroom is against a neighbors bathroom, like clockwork, every night same routine when they start showering. We will be selling soon as the remaining Townhomes have been built.

I was advised that the a/c filter will be changed upon moving in but when i checked, it has not been changed. Kitchen cabinet is so hard to close.

Was very obvious where the paint was watered down inside, horrible paint job. We already need the inside repainted. Also, the subfloor upstairs, some places the floor pops. Was disappointed that the game inside of garage was not finished. Very cheap, loud dishwasher was installed, we have already replaced it with a new one. We were also told we would not hear our neighbors, wrong. We hear them walking around every night.
