I haven’t had a bad experience. I do wish the parking was better. Especially for the homeowners. The apartment complex across from my home takes all of the owners parking. We as homeowners deserve to have a regulated system for parking

House is poor quality. The floors upstairs squeak significantly, the hinges have black dust coming off everywhere, kitchen cabinets are uneven, and there is a significant draft on the master bedroom window where the window must not have been properly installed. The trash around the community is a nightmare. I've had to have the electric and plumbing fixed on the house in less that 6 months of living there. I'm really unhappy with the home purchase.

it was a very seamless process, laura was my mortgage broker at first and then jennifer took over. i have nothing but good things to say about jennifer she was very friendly, communicative and helpful with the process. [name removed] was communicative as well but towards the end my questions weren’t answered until the closing meeting.

I like my home and CB Jeni had enough done for me to be able to move in. But there was a lot of unfinished work/touch ups that were still left upon my move-in. It also took weeks for even the simple things to be taken care of.

My floor was uneven in several spots. They had people into repair. However there are still uneven spots. When I spoke to [name removed] about it told me that they are with a certain amount that it is within variance. However if I can still feel by just walking over it. It’s not okay with me.

The sale agent, very friendly, kind, and very care full and the builder also was very kind and fix everything they can but the quality and contractor not that good small problem start like cabinets screw fall down and cabinets company handyman not professional try to blame everything to or builder need to change contractor or some companies but so far everything good just let see and we had some electrical problem by switch of fridge was not working but the the builder was taking care of it hopefully ?? no more problems.

Correspondence and follow up with the seller was amazing. Had a bit of hiccups and misunderstandings with the preferred lender but it got solved with [name removed]’s excellent approach and support.

Getting ahold of anyone was rough when I moved in. It took forever to get things done and/or fixed. Because of sloppy work up front the floor absorbed paint that won’t come off, the back splash is unsightly and my attic ladder STILL is not fixed after 6 months.

Have not had any warranty service experience yet, but when moving it I was able to get all of my issues resolved. Although, some took several weeks after I moved in to get resolved, which was disappointing.

Preferred lender was terrible. [name removed] at Highlands Residential Mortgage was absolutely terrible in the lending process. Over heard similar feedback from buyers within this community about him as well. Pick a different lender for future developments. [name removed] is fantastic!! Could not get a better sales rep. She is kind, thorough, and never drops the ball.

I liked the quality of the homes, loved the promptness of the lender/builders/realtors with any questions I had. I liked the fact that after Highland Homes wouldn't finance my house (which I disliked by the way), the builders still let me use their incentives (thank you much).

Too many imperfections around the home. Looked like it was trying to be built as fast as possible instead of ensuring the quality of things were done to a T. I get not every house is “perfect” but I’m now having to go through warranty to replace a lot of things that were done very lousy.
