We liked that you handled our concerns in a timly manner. We didn't appreicate the beer bottle that was crammed in the toilet in the second bath upstairs. I had sewage coming out of the shower. The sprinkler system for the lawn has never worked.

I still have obvious horizontal crack on my front door and paint job isn't done too well in different areas of home (also door frame). I have missing window censor from HomePro that I will have to call in myself to get. But overall I am satisfied.

When I first put a deposit down it all the paperwork was signed and we were told our place would be done by July 2021. I understood that there were significant delays due to Covid and supply chain and that was somewhat communicated via phone calls from [name removed]. But what was not communicated was that there was purposeful delay from CB Jeni due to the wait on the price of lumber to drop, which did not happen. So both parties suffered from the delay. And that was the start of more delays and constant changes of material. [name removed] is lucky I did not have to rent my previous property or else more headaches. Then the DOUBLE whammy was the treatment as a customer from [name removed] [name removed] [name removed] and CB Jeni. [name removed] was nice AT FIRST. He had explained the loan estimate early when I was shopping for mortgages to understand where he got the rates. After some shopping, I found a bank that better suit my needs and told [name removed] I will not be going with [name removed] [name removed]. He was flabbergasted and ANGRY. He DEMANDED to know who was providing my loan and at what rate. I did not want him to know because I am not obligated to. But he Demanded and when I did tell him out of fear, he yelled, "That is Fake. That rate is IMPOSSIBLE to get at this time. Do you know the current market rate? Are you sure it's real?!" He said that. I was scared and shaken. No one has treated me like that and I had to run to my partner and have him calm me down. [name removed] put doubt in me and everything I read online in reviews about him and [name removed] was put into question. How could this man who had been praised from Google Reviews be the complete opposite? I don't know where to go and who to tell. So I hope someone can please listen to me with this review. I am just telling my honest truth and story. I don't want anyone else to go through such horrible treatment. Months passed as delays kept going and we were about to close on this magical date. 9/9 at 9 AM, and it was too good to be true. The closing was delayed and it was NOT my fault. It was between [name removed], loan officer, and 3rd party appraiser. The 3rd party appraiser called [name removed] to schedule a day & time for inspection but she said she never got anything or a voice mail. My loan officer said that was odd and told [name removed] that they did call and since there is no inspection we should postpone the closing. [name removed] said no. We pushed for postponing because it just did not make any sense too. [name removed] kept saying no, it can be finished. This was T-minus 2 days to closing. In the end the appraisal was done on 9/9 and closing was delayed and I was FINED. There is an agreement in the contract that with everyday after closing including weekends was a $150/day fine. I was angry and felt betrayed again. This is not how closing on a house should go. I told them the fine was Unfair to me. I did everything and communicated properly to [name removed] to postpone because at the rate it was going we could not close on 9/9. [name removed] did amend by talking to her boss to work something out and reduce the payment in half to admit they were half at fault. I felt like with all the delays and headaches this place took, just end my misery by just not even fining me. I already had such a bad experience. Writing this pains me too since I have to relive this. I'm just glad at the end of this [name removed], the builder had been the nice guy, doing his job, communicating, and helping us finally give us the keys to the house. So 10/10 to [name removed]. But everyone else...ya'll need to go cleanse yourself of your sins.

There was always good communication from [name removed] and [name removed]. They called on schedule, answered questions and got to know you as a buyer rather than just going through the motions. The meeting with the HomePro Associates didn't have any context around it, I would have liked to know what the purpose of the meeting was so that I could have planned for it rather than making a snap decision. The first design company seemed to want to steer me in a particular direction and didn't offer a lot of options to deviate.

The whole experience was great, from start [name removed] was able to clear all questions and give detail information of the buying process, the house materials, sign off date, etc. On sign off it took only a couple of hours to receive the good news we were funded. We had a weekly construction update, and house was built on schedule. The final result is beautiful, perfect matching design and materials.

The process from CBJENI was very smooth. I really appreciate the weekly updates and calls. What I dislike is the preferred lender (GREENBRICK Mortgage). The process with them was not smooth and seemed more like bait-and-switch. I would highly recommend CBJENI looking into other preferred lenders.

I like that when I get in touch with the warranty customer care they will follow up very promptly with the service techs to ensure that the request is being handled. It does take the service techs a while to respond due to the COVID situation which is understandable.
