There was no usual warranty due to this was a model home. However, CBJeni did not do a good job converting the model home to a residential home and my complaint is about that. The garage was finished abysmally—there was no baseboard leaving jagged pieces of Sheetrock around the entire bottom edges of the new garage area. Also, the new brick area was never washed and one can clearly see that a garage conversion was done. Shoddy work on the garage conversion.

I liked the floor plan, the way space is allocated for larger living area, bathrooms and owner's suite closet. I also like the inclusion of a smart thermostat and smart garage door opener. After living in the home, I've noticed things that could've been thought out more thoroughly - like the placement of bathroom towel hooks, number/placement of power outlets, the curvature of the shower floor, entry to the attic from the garage. I also get frustrated seeing the things CBJeni "cheaped out" on including not installing a ceiling fan in the spare room, the stairs to the attic door being difficult to open, not finishing the paint in the garage, building a very small closet for the second room, and not wiring the ceiling fans correctly (i keep forgetting to contact CBJeni about it).

Hi I disappointment for A broken window and the garage door it was stuck and the paint after I moved it was damage and I told [name removed] the one he in charge and he told me he will fix it and I called him like three times and he never respond he always telling me he’s gonna come and fix everything and he never dead he just ignore me but thank you to [name removed] she was helping me a lot and she’s really good thank you

I didn't like that I had to clean out my garage when I moved in. There were empty pizza boxes, soda cans, plastic that was used to cover the carpet, and other trashes left behind for me to clean up.

Response has been prompt and service on repairs good. I've been in my home for about 5 months now and the one negative is that I am finding things that should have been taken care of during the build (wood door frames that are splintered at ends that were painted over vs new wood piece, gaps in door jams, uneven shower floor times where corners of individual tiles stick up and causes discomfort when standing in shower.) I'm hoping to address these concerns at the next warranty which I'm told is 11 months out from day of purchase.

Too many construction delays. Cabinetry is mediocre. Location of light switches was not convenient nor enough in the kitchen and living areas. Would have been nice if it was already smart home setup with an option of google or amazon alexa. Better interconnectivity to Thermostat. [name removed] stinks. Would have been nice if there were instructions on how to download all of the appliance devices like the garage door opener. Map of the location of the mailbox.

Pros: - I am thankful for [name removed] for keeping me updated from the day I reserved by home to closing it. - I like [name removed] from how she respond on the emails and the concern I get. She had been professional and cordial. - When I moved in I saw some defects that needs to be addressed and I appreciate [name removed] for coming by and checking on it. - [name removed] just visited and so far he is good in explaining my home warranty Cons: - When I had my orientation, the garage was partially finished. The walls is painted in one coating and there is stained paint on one side. The garage door side are not painted. So when I had my final walk tru, still the concern is still there. I emailed about it, but there is no response on when they are going to do this. - One of my window is very hard to open, and [name removed] checked on it right away and said that he will send somebody but until now nobody re-checked it. I also emailed them about it. - 15 day re-visit has not yet done it had been a month. I emailed them also about it and tried to ask the schedule the 15 day so that I will see my availability. - [name removed] had been great to responding email, but lately the respond is delayed or at times no response. At times calling the office there is no answer.

Price was over market. Yes, this was a model home with many extras, but models usually sell for less than non-models, since the home is considered used and the warranty is mostly non-existent. I was a victim of a low supply of homes on market and current high prices for homes. [name removed] CB [name removed]’s fault, but the fact that I paid more than the home was worth will continue to bother me.

The quality does not match the cost & i feel like because I did not have a realtor, I did not receive the same level of service. For example - the AC unit was not inspected prior to my closing, or even 6 months prior to my closing

The concept of signing off on work even though it is not ever going to be what you really feel it should be.....namely the installation of the engineered flooring and the quality of the engineered flooring. The flooring makes loud snappinng and creeking noises when you walk on it. It was repaired in four places and it still makes the noises and it still lifts up at joints.....either bad quality product or bad installation......but my wife says it is the easiest floor to clean. To sign off on the work is simply a hope that it works.....in this case it didn't....

Bad trim work. Lots of nicks and dings in the trim work. The master bathroom exterior exhaust vent door flaps very loudly in the wind. [name removed] would not attempt a repair or even look at it.

I love the weekly updates, follow up and calls. By the end of the process I missed the final walk because of lackof communication from Project Manager. I took the property as is, it has a few flaws, small scratches, a crack in the bathroom floor, stains on the shower door and walls. The gutters was full of nails and screws left behind got stuck during my first rain and the water wasn’t running, got stuck in the middle of the patio. I have a photo that may explain better.

Personnel are very cordial and helpful. Only thing keeping me from rating everything a 10 is a crack in the slab previously discussed prior to closing which continues to become more apparent; and the failed drainage at the south end of the complex that is always a mud hole, which was also noted prior to closing. There are a few minor landscaping issues that may or may not be your responsibility such as missing grass spot and cinders in lieu of grass that were not initially bordered with rubber or plastic edges around cinders, and there are remain others than the one fixed.
