No one knows more about a homebuilder's quality and service than the builder's customers.

Since 1984, Eliant has been independently evaluating the performance of homebuilders across the U.S., Canada, and the Middle East:

  • We ask recent homebuyers to evaluate their builder's purchase process.
  • Then, we ask homeowners to evaluate their builder's quality and service (1) after the first 5-months in the home, and (2) again at the end of the first year.

[name removed] was our Century Communities point of contact and he was excellent. He sent us weekly progress reports of how our home purchase was going and what to expect next. He was readily available through text and phone calls and answered questions promptly. He was always patient and never pushy. [name removed] was our loan officer from Inspire Home Loans, he was also outstanding. [name removed] was also available through text and phone calls. Inspire Home Loans also had a feature called Talkuments that went into detail of the loan process. We found that extremely interesting and it helped us understand different loan terminology and anticipate our next steps. [name removed] and [name removed] made us feel like we were the only couple they were helping at the time. We felt like we were their number 1 priority. We had some hiccups during the loan process but they never made us feel like we were an inconvenience. They were understanding and empathetic. Century Communities gave us more than we expected and we appreciate the warranty program too. We met with [name removed], the warranty man, he was definitely important and necessary. He was kind enough to let my husband walk through even though he was very late for our scheduled meeting. We are happy to have a beautiful place to call home. Thank you for everything.

Purchasing a property is one of the most significant transactions a family can undertake, and it should not be marred by unnecessary stress. While we are satisfied with our purchase, the experience was far from user-friendly or organized. This company, as the parent organization overseeing all subsidiaries involved in the transaction, failed to meet essential standards of reliability. The lack of communication between departments was unacceptable, resulting in increased confusion and frustration throughout the purchasing process. This communication breakdown eroded our trust and confidence in the entire team involved. We faced repeated errors regarding key dates, alongside arbitrary changes to dates that had already been agreed upon. Additionally, critical closing documents contained mistakes, including a misspelling of one property owner's name. The pressure and haste with which they pushed to close the deal created an uncomfortable environment for us as clients. Overall, we did not enjoy the process of purchasing this property, and it is clear that significant improvements are necessary for future transactions.

This is my first time to purchase a home, so everything to me was overwhelming. Smooth contracting signing, that i thought will be going to Parkway title just to sign those documents, but no, its digital world, they will come to you, and that was cool and amazing.

Dealing with Century Home's preferred lender. Most difficult lender I've worked over the years. Their process seemed to be unorganized and made zero sense in trying to get a loan. Eventually, we didn't even do business with them.

The process was stressful with prices changing. During the process the loan officer lost our paperwork multiple times . We had to supply additional records. When we moved in the front of the house was dirty. I was told they were going to clean it and wash it. On the side of the house there is still dirt and mud. The whole process was stressful and not easy or seamless. Thank you.
