No one knows more about a homebuilder's quality and service than the builder's customers.

Since 1984, Eliant has been independently evaluating the performance of homebuilders across the U.S., Canada, and the Middle East:

  • We ask recent homebuyers to evaluate their builder's purchase process.
  • Then, we ask homeowners to evaluate their builder's quality and service (1) after the first 5-months in the home, and (2) again at the end of the first year.

In "Homebuilder Customer Reviews", we present the ratings and comments collected from new-home buyers at these three points in time.

Eliant verifies that only evaluations completed by actual customers are included in this "Homebuilder Customer Reviews" site. No other evaluations - whether collected by the builder or those appearing on other public sites - are included here. All customer comments are included verbatim, no editing is permitted.

They sold the same floor plan for less but told me that they were not willing to give the same house for the same price. Advertised as a no HOA property but 2 documents they request my signature on refers to an HOA. Was informed of covents and restrictions 1 week before closing I was not happy about this at all. My sales rep was no longer with the company when I reached out, then found out that my closing agent was leaving too. Still receiving conflicting information, C&R says I need permission and while I was told that I can hear back right away then over a week later im told that it will take more than 30 days, then heard back again stating that approval is necessary. The crew did not fix all of the blue tape items. There is no where to hang my towel in the master bath. The wire shelves company put many holes in my walls. No, grass in the back More things that i do not have time to list.

Though I do wish some things had been completed prior to closing, I truly appreciate that [name removed] and [name removed] made sure everything was taken care of shortly afterward. They followed through and made it happen—and that speaks volumes about their integrity and dedication. Thanks to their support, I not only feel confident in my new home, but also in the team behind it. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I disliked the way certain things were repaired. It seems the common solution is just to use an excess amount of caulk or putty to patch things up. You can tell a lot of things were done in a rush.

I wish the painters had paid more attention to their touch ups in the house when they were making them, prior to the walkthrough. They used slighted different colored paint and gloss on flat for the touch ups

I wish I could have had more choice about the color of the home or that it didnt have toliet holders for example; being a new home owner, I wish I had known about which appliances came with the home a bit earlier. I really liked everyone at the company. They have been easy to get in touch with and they are personable and knowledgeable.

I loved how smooth everything was. It was overwhelming with the amount of paperwork to fill out and all of the different people I had to speak with regarding different areas of the process, but every single person I dealt with at this company has been exemplary in their knowledge and customer service.

I disliked that the property manager that did the final walk through with me did not complete agreed upon tasks for the home that were expected to be completed prior to closing.

Not thrilled with the back lawn, very sandy and covered in weeds. It is hard to believe that it was ever seeded. Also discussed the stainless steel sink with [name removed] due to numerous scratches on the first walk through as well as final walk through to no avail. Same with the lawn. [name removed] is great but I realize there is only so much he can do.
