Everyone was very communicative, responsive and cordial. The property manager [name removed] was great with explaining everything about our new home, especially as first time homebuyers it was very helpful and well needed. From start to finish it was a well executed process and exceeded our expectations.

The closing day was rather cold. I see other new homeowners taking photos with Century Complete staff. I didn’t get any of that. I guess cash buyers don’t get celebrated at closing.

Overall, I had a very positive experience. I liked the convenience of completing much of the process online. [name removed] provided a great introduction, [name removed] helped keep everything moving efficiently, and [name removed] was especially excellent—very responsive, attentive, and supportive throughout the entire process. One area for improvement would be clearer communication during certain steps, but overall it was a smooth experience.

I wish century would have considered making our home contingent on sale of our previous home. We were told century worked with families who owned a home at time of agreement but it didn’t seem like there were any options once you decided to make the commitment.

[name removed]. Someone needs to talk to this young man and find out why he made up stories about the flooring. Apparently, he is seen as a very valuable player in the Century Complete home buying process. NOT this time. He seriously had us at the point of walking away and leaving our deposit behind. We were not going to close due to our frustration with him. Had I not reached out to [name removed], who put himself on a mission to resolve our issues and bring in [name removed]. [name removed] lied to me multiple times. I will recommend Century Complete, but I will advise friends not to trust or use [name removed]. Again, very very disappointed.

Quality and Convenience. While I appreciate the area having affordable housing, there are somethings that should be either invested in, added to the purchase price and/or at minimum, made as an available upgrade through the contract. Moving is hard on people, and it should be of concern due to it affecting your end-user, the purchaser. The paint is subpar, and almost inexcusable. It is white drywall, that is unwashable and not conducive to living, therefore delivering a product that everyone has to invest in, again. I would love a gift card in exchange for the survey to cover the cost of this! Also, I hope you will consider making a few simple upgrades available to the purchaser that arguably will not delay the quick-closes and may even increase your bottom line. I would have gladly paid double to have bug screens, a garbage disposal and a finished garage. For those of us that are strapped for time and not handy, this is very inconvenient and arguable also do not affect the appraised value of the home. I would like to also share that I had a very pleasant experience and flawless process from contract to closing. Special praise to [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed] for being so responsive and courteous. They model good customer service by Century Homes.

While I enjoyed being able to go through most of the process remotely, the process did become slightly grueling when things got to the underwriter for the loan. I verified my income/bank accounts and liabilities multiple times, and it got a little frustrating having to always send more. I also did not like having to explain why I was making the purchase. As a serious buyer, it's not really anyone's concern as long as all qualifications are met.

The walkthrough was very thorough. Before getting to that point the communication was slow. My closing was moved to the Carrollton office a month before closing and the keys were never transferred to the Carrollton office but no one communicated that until I closed on the property.
