There are major issues with the flooring such a huge air pockets and planks separating. There are things that were left unfinished such as the framing to one of the walls and base boards with metal framing pieces sticking out to the point my one year old baby cut her toe wide open. There is a hole in the master shower floor still that has not been addressed so no one can shower. I have had many people coming into the home with no resolution to fix the issues and the floors. I can’t even move into my new home causing me financial difficulties due to now having to pay another months rent since I was told not to put anything onto the LVP floors. I’m hearing bickering and flooring people say it’s the concrete people’s fault and concrete people saying no it’s floorings fault. It’s not just air pockets but severe unevenness throughout as well as things stuck under the flooring. Cabinets are also still a mess with chips out of them and poorly painted to supposedly correct the issue which it did not it just makes them look worse. Concrete boss came in with a huge 2x4 and hit my walls as well as taking a chip out of the outside front entry way frame. There is still a hole in the wall of the laundry room and the place where the water heater sits is completely sunk in. The stone that was taped off to be fixed was never fixed. To tub in the 2nd bathroom still full of ugly scratches. Speaking if scratches there are scratches in the LVP flooring as well. The concrete outside in the front under the covered patio still has paint on it as well as the back covered patio. There are rusty nails left in the backyard all over the place and this is completely negligent and unsafe for my small children as well as myself. I am a single mom who has worked hard to achieve this dream for my children but so far it has turned into a nightmare. My mortgage is due and so is my rent totaling $4600.00! This should not have happened at all. I should have been able to have me and my children moved out of the rental into OUR HOME. I find the new home I bought completely unsafe for my children. My baby has already been hurt and this should not have happened. It is irresponsible, negligent, and down right wrong. It’s been about a month and these issues were brought up before I closed. I was promised they would be fixed. I cannot take off work as I work for the FEDS to move as this leaves me no time during the week and I’m limited in time as well. So again financially, me and my children are going to suffer due to the lack of unfulfilled promises and an unsafe unfinished home. To say I’m dissatisfied and disappointed is an understatement.

I liked that [name removed] had the home already marked with tape before our walk thru. It made us feel like he had our best interest. [name removed] was very helpful when we had questions and assisted us with any issues. I can't remember the name of the lady who did the final walk thru but she was very nice and helpful. [name removed] was also very helpful. The only thing that we disliked was the closing was done with just a notary. There was no one there from Century Complete to answer questions. The notary and our realtor had to keep making calls to get the answers to our questions. That should not happen and that's very unprofessional.

The realtor, Ms. [name removed], was AMAZING. As a realtor myself, she was an amazing human being helped me through every aspect. The construction manager was amazing. Gave perfect great walksthroughs; the small issuers that were discovered. He was able to resolve before move in. The house was broken into one day before the closing date. The construction manager and the crew were able to fix it within several hours, which is incredible because it was during a holiday break. The finance department that helped me with the loan was also incredible through every small issue we had due to me leaving the military. I started a job with a state of Florida highway patrol; he was able to stick through me and help me the whole way. The worst issue and hated most of all this house purchasing, was the closing coordinator. Everything was difficult with them in specifically the woman else who “assisteded” me.

•I felt pressured to use your financing in the fact that I was given a short window to close. Then to be told, either I get financing or you’re done. It made me feel like I was not a valued prospect and I had to jump through hoops to get different. I honestly went out of my way to get financing through someone else out of spite. To be told “we’ve done this before and we’ll find someone else to buy the home was a shocker”. •To be told if I’m unavailable to close that I could be fined but if you move it then it’s okay. Our closing date changed multiple times and I had to cancel a trip that I had booked for months only for the date to be changed again. It may not have been your fault but you gained all the leverage and left me with none and for that it’s bad business. At least try to be reasonable!! •I hate that the home was bare minimum essentials. For example, one light in the living room, some closets don’t have lights and all the toilets are for dwarfs!!!!!! I’ve already had to go purchase other things because what was installed was borderline disrespectful with these components. •What turned the experience around was the site manager ([name removed]) was and is excellent. He was very responsive, returned calls and ensured everything I pointed out (minor mistakes such as painting) was corrected. I could work with him any day of the week and he alone would make me a repeat customer.

The home I purchased fit my personal needs. I enjoyed working with [name removed] and his partner. Both were super helpful and responded to any concerns I may have had. They explained everything inside the house and out. They should me all the gadgets in the house and out. They explained the cracks along the windows on the outside. Shifting. The assured me that it would be taken care of at a later date. I really like my home.

If I was to dislike something it would probably be the beginning with I'm assuming she was the sale Rep [name removed]. In the beginning it felt like she was rushing me or pressuring me to sign documents and somewhat vague with answering a few questions. I like to make sure the decision that I make is one that I won't regret in the end. With this being a major purchase in my life, I needed to take my time. In the end, I was still able to weigh my options and was able to get what I want. After that process [name removed] got me everything that I needed as things were coming out and despite the beginning, it was a pleasure working with her. ?? Everything else was wonderful.

Homebuilder Customer Reviews

No one knows more about a homebuilder's quality and service than the builder's customers.

Since 1984, Eliant has been independently evaluating the performance of homebuilders across the U.S., Canada, and the Middle East:

  • We ask recent homebuyers to evaluate their builder's purchase process.
  • Then, we ask homeowners to evaluate their builder's quality and service (1) after the first 5-months in the home, and (2) again at the end of the first year.

In "Homebuilder Customer Reviews", we present the ratings and comments collected from new-home buyers at these three points in time.

Eliant verifies that only evaluations completed by actual customers are included in this "Homebuilder Customer Reviews" site. No other evaluations - whether collected by the builder or those appearing on other public sites - are included here. All customer comments are included verbatim, no editing is permitted.
