That the sales coordinator hounded me about paying the deposit - even though I signed paperwork stating I had 14 days to pay it. I used that 14 days to confirm approval with the lender and during that time both my husband and myself were emailed and called repeatedly saying "we're going to need you to pay that deposit". This was at like day 6 and then I had to get my realtor involved to tell them to back off and that I'd pay it when I was ready and received confirmation from my lender. Almost lost a customer for this. Her name was [name removed], by the way.

Miscommunications from the team. Company trying to enforce policies that were off and unable to be enforced. Some items of concern we felt like weren’t taken as serious or were made to seem insignificant.

No garbage disposal. And no water softener line protruding from the wall. If I had any complaints which are pretty minor. That’s it. I love that you did the block walls in the back. It would be great to have a gate wide enough to drive ur boat thru into the back yard tho. Just a design thing. And maybe I’m spoiled. But the garage would be lovely if it was 3 stalls. Or just more side space. Like 24 wide or just enough space for cabinets in the garage or shelving. But then I think the purchase price would have been higher. For the price. It’s a very nice home with 4 bedrooms on top of it all. Happy customer. The purchase experience logistically was smooth. Even tho we closed before we had the blinds installed, the project manager contacted me, was super friendly, very knowledgeable and gave me some helpful tips. I feel like I can reach out to him if there are any issues.

I appreciated the follow up on everything and the little punch list of things we wanted to have done was already completed when we did the final walk through was impressive. We already had a follow-up call from [name removed] the Century Home Warranty person and he was very personable and ready to help in anyway he can. Again great experience.

Overall the process went smoothly and we are pleased with the house we purchased. Under the flag of candor, not malice, I offer these observations. In essence, being told that the builder's time was more valuable than mine when it came time to schedule the initial walkthrough. Although the walkthrough was changed to accommodate me because I was coming from out of state, it would have been nice to been asked if the time was suitable rather than say the time was assigned and could not be moved - "The orientation dates cannot be changed because the construction manager has a complex schedule. These dates have already been coordinated with other project commitments and changing it would cause scheduling conflicts." Per email from closing coordinator. Although my request was honored it would have been nice to have some initial input and not made to feel like I was 2nd place in the process. I had asked for information from the manufacturer or installer conforming that the cantilever countertop material, in the kitchen area, was suitable for the span it is intended to endure without additional bracing, but have not received it. Although most of the areas that were identified as needing attention were remedied we now have several paint and drywall mud spots on the carpet from the repairs. As I was out of state and our realtor was kind enough to do the final walk for us we will live with these areas. Overall, we are very happy with our choice and the people who attended to us. All have been very attentive to our needs and we have enjoyed working with the staff at Moss Creek
