The entire process was chaotic. It seemed that nobody was able to get their information straight and communication was either incomplete or non existent. Closing was moved multiple times due to clerical errors on the builder/sellers part and we ended up having to pay a lot more out of pocket due to it moving to a new month. During the first and then the final walk through, some items were not addressed/fixed (ie: sealing around the bathroom area, soffit incomplete leaving the side of the roof exposed, air conditioner filter unable to be accessed, wooden board to attic is missing in garage). I have reached out to builder via text regarding the soffit since that is the most important thing due to birds being able to get up in the roof, and nothing has been done. At this point it’s disheartening that we have spent so much money and feel like we were just another sale and not an actual family purchasing our home.

Century did not complete all the necessary things prior to closing. The closing date was supposed to be end of December 2023 and didn’t happen until end of February 2024. The limited contact from Century with the “promise” of closing in 2.5 weeks if I used their lender did not happen. Although I’m happy with my mortgage guy, [name removed], who provided wonderful customer service, Century Communities should work on “more realistic” timelines of a home being complete.

no me gusta que me fue un poco difícil en comunicarme con la compañía pero tal vez no se si es que no conozco él mecanismo y no tienen porque estar en comunicación constante conmigo aunque en momentos precisos fueton dandole las indicaciones a las personas que debian contactarme también se demoraron en culminar alhunos detalles pero al final XXXXX plieron su palaba.

The communication throughout the process (construction updates, closing procedures, inspections) was almost non-existent. If wasn't until the VP of Sales, [name removed], got involved that I started to receive updates on the property.

We like the new home, I did not like the delay that there was in the closing date, initially it had to sign in January 2022 and we ended up signing in June 2022, I understand that perhaps it was out of the hands of Century, but everything else was very good, the construction company complied with the delivery of the house. thank you century complete for our new home.

Kathy and Kelsey made the process very easy for my brother and I. We were worried that the experience may be unpleasant given our lack of knowledge, but the reality is Kathy and Kelsey eased our worries and went to bat for us on several occasions when we needed things fixed or had trouble with the title company. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
