The only thing I disliked is Century didn’t tell me how EASY this process was going to be . Let’s start with my realtor who was doing open house that I didn’t know from a can of paint . She SOLD us from day 1 she had our backs and walked us through this process step by step until we closed - Shaneek Our lender [name removed] was AMAZING this gentlemen always had our best interest at heart and you can tell he loves his job and what he does. There was not one time he didn’t respond or give me the information we needed to ensure we met deadlines and closed on time . The builders from [name removed] to [name removed] and everyone involved superior customer service & let’s not forget KNOWLEDGEABLE!!! I ask a lot of questions so to have those answered quickly and truthfully means ALOT!! Our home is beautiful and our kids 7 & 9 couldn’t be happier . To know we gave them this opportunity to experience this process and understand if you work hard you can get what you want is a beautiful thing . Not to mention ( MeMe ) grandma lives one street over in one of your other beautiful homes!!!

Feedback on Our Home Purchase Experience We appreciate the opportunity to share my feedback regarding our home purchase experience, from the contract phase through move-in. This journey has been a mix of excitement, challenges, and learning experiences, and we want to highlight both the positives and areas where improvement is needed. What We Liked: Throughout the construction project, [name removed], the construction manager, consistently exhibited exceptional professionalism, demonstrating a remarkable level of care and meticulous attention to detail, truly exceeding expectations. His commitment to ensuring that the home was in top condition before move-in made a significant impact on our experience. My experience with New American Funding was truly amazing, and I want to give special thanks to [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], and his outstanding team members, [name removed] and [name removed], who all provided exceptional service and support. Working alongside [name removed] [name removed] has been an absolute honor and a true pleasure; her dedication and positive spirit are deeply appreciated, and I offer my sincerest gratitude and blessings. [name removed] was truly our go-to person, helping us navigate any situation that arose, assisting with finding homeowners’ insurance, and ensuring all documents were properly prepared for underwriting. She was always available day or night, providing honest and transparent guidance every step of the way. Communication from [name removed] We wanted to take a moment to personally thank you for your support and assistance during the closing process. Thanks for listening to me, when I needed help about what happened to me about the situation with (Sales Department [name removed]’s) it was day before closing and had problems CD to Lawyer. She makes sure I was ok and truly made a difference in what was a very important milestone for me. Team Members – There were individuals along the way who genuinely cared and made efforts to provide updates and address our concerns. Their professionalism and support were appreciated. What We Disliked: The process, from contract signing to closing, was plagued by disorganization and numerous errors, including document problems, conflicting information from the lender, and significant delays in obtaining corrected agreements. This action resulted in a significant degree of needless confusion and an unacceptable level of stress for those involved. [name removed], a sales representative, and her supervisor, [name removed], exhibited unprofessional conduct and made disrespectful comments; specifically, a derogatory remark made during the loan process was unacceptable and deeply hurtful. No customer should ever feel disrespected for such a major purchase. Unexpected alterations to our agent's commission structure mere hours before the closing of the deal caused significant frustration and a breakdown of trust, highlighting the problems that last-minute changes can create. The proper handling of these issues demanded prompt attention and should have been addressed far earlier. Lack of Post-Sale Customer Care – After closing, there was a noticeable lack of follow-up or acknowledgment. A simple email, or even a brief message, expressing congratulations on our new home purchase would have significantly demonstrated your appreciation for our continued patronage and business. Final Thoughts: While we are grateful for our new home, the overall experience was far more stressful than it should have been. We hope that Century Communities takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements in communication, organization, and customer care. Buying a home should be a joyful milestone, and we hope future buyers receive the level of support and respect that every homeowner deserves. Thank you for the opportunity to share our experience.

The only issue I think we had was communication between us and the lender was hard at points. Trying to get ahold of them to figure out what documents needed to be turned in.

Like I mentioned in the comments earlier, the loan approval process was quite painful. Amount of documentation and justification required for deposits made back in July was quite painful. Experience was [name removed] and [name removed] was wonderful though - they took ample amount of time to walk us through the home and go over everything in the house. I also do not want to take anything away from [name removed] was my loan advisor - the process itself was outside of his control and he went above and beyond to help me out. Besides the loan approval process, it was a quite positive experience.

From contract to close (move-in) my process was fast and efficient! The entire century staff listened and answered all of my questions without hesitation! The team is amazing and did everything to get me moved in within a short time frame.
