Everything was great. Scheduled walk throughs were definitely a help to allow me to point out missing items and concerns, which were all handled immediately. There was nothing displeasing at all, the entire experience was fun and exciting. Would recommend to a friend and would do this again.

Warranty service takes to long to get things fixed. They show up, look at the problem, and then kick the can down the road and bring back more people to look at the problem 3 weeks later. I still have a master bedroom door that wasn't right during our initial walk through back in February and it's now August and the door still isn't fixed. Have cracked tiles also since February that still aren't replaced.

Jamie our superintendent and also the sales staff in the office were all awesome. Kept us constantly informed throughout the process and extremely thorough and dealt with any concerns we had. The one negative was design center because we didn’t feel we had sufficient time in person to make all the choices necessary and felt rushed. The only other follow up appointment was almost 2 months later and would have delayed closing if we waited

We still a problem with a door sticking and bath sink does not hold water. The garage door sounds like its pulling apart. No one has followed up from your upper management regarding my ongoing storm and irrigation water pouring onto my lot.

Long Closing process, Capstone Title was not capable of dealing with type of loan. Fill dirt around house is poor quality. Scrapes of cement and rock chips from other jobs. Beautiful house design, Great hickory floor, of the five new homes we purchased, by far this is the best home. Love the house!

The design studio appointment did not go well and was in a rush to select. Also, the kitchen backsplash was selected at time of signing the contract and 1 week before first walk thru we were told the tile is not available . Which according to me felt like classic will not do and you do if. I was cornered to say let’s move forward without this and I felt bad as you all know the kitchen backsplash is an important element to the home. Was disappointed with this .

Our experience with classic homes during our purchasing and designing period was awesome. The team members who helped us through the process were very helpful and answered questions to this day. The down side to this experience is some things were not offered to us (that we know of) we thought we had a window that was not baseline, we wish we knew where the water XXXXX kets would end up, we did not get a door for our garage (a door on a hinge), would like to have known what would not be finished once the house was complete (could have had this done) , Had outlets installed on the house but they are so high off the ground that I will never use them. Just nice to knows would have been good and possible suggested items to think about.

I frequently have to request a follow-up or status update - sometimes without any response at all. More recently, an exterior addition was added for water drainage that looks extremely unattractive and was not a necessary addon from the start. I fear that the installation process drilled holes into the gutter which means removing it will lead to rust and other problems down the road.

The team at flying horse Palermo was tremendous. They resolved any issues in a timely manner and did a phenomenal job communicating throughout the process. The one area of constructive feedback we have is ensuring your design center understands the nuances of newly established home plans. We had an issue with the quartz for our island that was eventually resolved, but had the designer understood the island was too big for a single slab of quartz (options available at design center), we likely would have chosen a different quartz or even gone with granite.

My family and I are very disappointed to say the least with Classic and the situation regarding our home and lot / property line. Throughout the sales process of our home we flew our from California and walk the lot and home site numerous times with our realtor and the Classic team and we were told and shown where our property line was. We asked again and again to verify that all the property we were shown and told was ours and was a part of our lot was indeed ours and Classic assured us every time the land they presented to us and showed us was our property. We are told this by every Classic representative that we walked the home and lot with and even our realtor can verify that this is what we were told. It wasn't until after we signed and moved into the home that our landscape designer (not Classic) found an issue with the lot lines. We then contacted Classic and were told after several people came out to the property that a large piece or our side and backyard was in fact not our property and was our neighbors even though our neighbors landscaping has been done over a year. As it turns out we were lied to by the representatives of the Classic team and all the Classic staff that we walk the home and lot with and told us the land belonged to us. This loss of land effects the value or our property / lot and home and is now an additional expense to our neighbor who already spent 10's of thousands on her yard. With the exception of Christian from the sales office, Classic has not even offered so much as an apology and has done nothing but shrug their shoulders and say oh well and try to point fingers elsewhere. Classic has made no effort what so ever to remedy or make the situation right and seems to not care that we we lied to and our property was misrepresented and sold to us with false information. Even when Classic representatives came out to check our lot after we brought the issue to their attention, they walked the yard and said "whats the problem, this is obviously your land" only to realized, after we requested that they measure, that is wasn't our land and was not what we were sold and told. After measuring and realizing the land that was "obviously" ours was in fact not ours, instead of apologizing and trying to understand the situation, the Classic rep said "oh well, you signed the lot survey". This again was another lie, because we actually did not sign a lot survey and I didn't even receive a final survey until I dug through and found one stuffed in the mountain of closing docs. None of the Classic reps were even able to located the gps pin on our lot and kept telling us the wrong pin was ours and the wrong property line was ours over and over again, until the gps guys came back out and marked our pin. Again with the exception of Christian in sales, not a single Classic rep has offer any sort of accountability, apology, remedy, or understanding to our frustration and upset. We even have family including my parents and sisters family looking to purchase and move to the area as well and honestly we don't feel good about recommending Classic to them seeing how poorly Classic has handled our situation. Classic really need to put into place a lot/property walk with the buyer (especially those out of state) where they stand on, mark and clearly see and show the buyer the gps lot pins. They should walk and possibly measure to verify all the property with the buyer and Actually have the buyer sign a lot map that they know the property and exact lot lines. We are extremely disappointed, frustrated and honestly shocked at how horribly Classic and its representatives and staff have handled this situation. What a disappointment from a company that is suppose to be Colorado Springs "#1 Home Builder", and yet seems fine with the fact that we were lied to, mislead and our property was misrepresented to us. (update) ... Classic has let us know today that they in a nut shell they don't care that we were lied to, they don't care that we were mis lead and the property was misrepresented to us, they take no responsibility or accountability in the situation and blame it completely on the buyer. Classic believes the buyer should know and understand and find mistakes in the property even the Classic team and sales people couldn't and didn't find and apparently Classic doesn't care what their employees tell the buyer. Classic should be embarrassed and ashamed of how we have been treated and our situation

Overall we are very pleased with purchase experience. Everyone was very professional and would recommend Classic Homes. Christian was very helpful in advising which lot was available to build the model we wanted. The internet portal was not so helpful. Stacey in the design center made the process very smooth. At contract, we selected the window color, later we found that the exterior color scheme (model) that we had planned on was not available. While the white windows are acceptable, I would have preferred to select the window color after the exterior color was confirmed. The process to select the exterior color was awkward. Diane did a good job trying to display the different swatches and pictures of the different color schemes. As a last resort we took a map with the schemes identified and toured the actual houses - should have started with the map. Pentrust and Cherry Creek mortgage did a good job funding and closing our house on time. Subsequently the mortgage was sold to a financial institution. This process was not smooth and after reviewing their fees, I would not have initiated a relationship with this bank. I am still concerned about the storm water run off onto my lot. I am lower that the street behind me. 3 homes have roof drain pipes (some front and rear) that the discharge is collected and diverted to the corner of my lot. This run off increases in volume and velocity as it combines with the rain and then flows onto the east corner of my lot. Additionally, the neighbor to the east is diverting storm water across his lot and discharges onto my lot. I have noted this issue with the sales office and even met with the superintendents. I became more uncomfortable when my back neighbors installed their landscaping. I am no expert and can only speculate how this might have been abated, but it seems to me that the developer when designating this a buildable lot would have considered the flow from lot to lot. I have seen a substantial culvert on Ridgeline that controls the flow behind homes into the gutter. On another issue, my wife is concerned about the garage door installation. It sounds like it is shaking itself apart. We purchased a door opener from a different supplier than Classics. We were told that the other contractor owns maintaining the door. We have them coming out today for their recommendation. Overall, Classic Homes seems to have a solid sales process and includes many orientations and milestones.

Warranty Issues...I understand appliances are not covered by the home warranty, but need to be covered by the manufacturer. This is great when there is an obvious defect in the appliance. However, in my case, there was damage to the dishwasher due to installation by the home builder. I was told by the care team I had to handle the issue with the manufacturer. Luckily in my case they agreed to repair the appliance, however based on the damage that was done they could have easily denied the claim as it was not a defect. Had I identified this installation damage prior to closing on the home, the builder would have easily replaced the appliance and moved on. Instead they pushed me to the manufacture and after 3 months my appliance was repaired. So, damages that are hidden and not obvious to the homebuyer need to be addressed on a case by case basis. I believe the builder should have replaced the dishwasher as the damage was clearly done prior to me closing on the home and was not a defect attributable to the manufacturer of the dishwasher. I'm now concerned about the installation of the other appliances and possibly other areas of the home that I can't visibly see.

Classic Homes sales agents always easily accessible, always got back to me in a timely manner and answered all questions for me. They worked with us on every detail that we desired. It was a great process to work with Classic Homes and we even changed our floorplan at the last minute. They worked with us every step of the way. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to build a new home. If we had any issues, they took care of them in the most professional and timely manner. We are very happy with the process and our new home.

We were very happy with our purchase experience with Classic Homes. At contract, their representatives walked us through the process, all of our questions and thoroughly explained the documents before having us sign them. The design center was great and they allowed us to go an extra visit so we weren’t rushed when making our selections. The builder was great and we got weekly phone calls and photos to update us on the progress of our home. We couldn’t be happier and it’s amazing how efficient and quick they were with the whole process!

There were several areas that wish there were some options, felt like everything was an upcharge or add on. 98 percent of the questions had to be forwarded to someone else whom we could not directly contact. Did not like there were no prints or drawings of our layout as it was the mirror image of the blueprints and none were done for our layout.

We still a problem with a door sticking and bath sink does not hold water. The garage door sounds like its pulling apart. No one has followed up from your upper management regarding my ongoing storm and irrigation water pouring onto my lot.

Just two things. 1- I pointed out some poor craftsmanship and was told it didn't matter as it was covered up behind a wall. 2- I pointed out a squeaky floor and nothing was done about it.
