Finishes not done well. Not one light switch out outlet is level in the entire house. Trim cut at the bottom roughly, just looks bad. Take the time to do a good job, not a half assed one!

Nothing really. Anytime an issue is raised it gets taken care of without little to no hassle. Being next to the build sites still typically gets taken care of same day by one of the build supervisors

(1) dislike: how we were tricked into finishing the basement by our salesperson (2) like: professionalism of the construction and maintenance (3) dislike: communication with the Warranty department is inconvenient for the home owner (4) inconsistent information about acceptable temperature differences between main and basement levels (one said 8-10, another said 10 was "fine") (5) like: parties at the sales office (good food and drink).

The Classic Homes process spoiled me. I can't imagine buying a home any other way. Diane Sullivan and the Team at Flying Horse were there to help me the entire way and immediately made me feel like part of a community. My options were clearly explained and I had time to make thoughtful decisions. The Design Studio experience with Leigh Barrington was fun and helped me craft the home of my dreams. Justin did a fantastic job setting up my build for success. I very much trusted Jaime's expertise to ensure a high degree of quality and craftsmanship during the build. Ken went the extra mile to ensure everything was just right for me at move-in. When I closed, Tina Loncar made me feel like I won a game show when I pulled up to the house for my New Home Presentation. Jaime and Ken thoroughly instructed me on how my house operates during the Final Walkthrough and I appreciate that Robert went over everything with me again during the New Home Presentation to be sure I remembered. The only negative I experienced was just seeing some lack of care by the sub-contrators/vendors when I would visit on Sundays. Jaime and Ken have their hands full ensuring the sub-contractors are performing at the Classic Homes standard of care. One Sunday, I arrived to find an empty chip bag stashed in a drawer and empty bottles thrown under the stairs. Jaime and Ken shouldn't have to clean that stuff up. Also, the people who built the deck were either rushed or just didn't care about the quality. The deck is safe and of average quality, but not well done. People who visit my house use the word "stunning" when they see the quality and craftsmanship of the house...then they see the deck and ask what happened. It looks unfinished in places and is at a standard below the rest of the house. Jaime and Ken explained to me why some wood is left without stain or paint. I understand it, but the end result looks out of place with the rest of the gorgeous house. Lastly, Home Run Electronics has been horrible to work with. They were missing the Ring doorbell during the Smart Home installation. I purchased a security system through them, but they didn't bring cameras to install in the pre-wiring they did. I sent emails well in advance of installation to purchase a network switch and have them install the TV on the fireplace. Those emails went unanswered. My phone messages were not returned by Sales until I complained to the scheduler Nate who escalated the situation to his boss. I have never seen such dismissive service from a sales team. They seem totally uninterested in my business and at this point I anticipate having to bring in another company to finish the security system and network set-up. I highly encourage Classic Homes to evaluate the company and reassess the partnership. I love that Classic is partnered with a company that provides these services, but Home Run Electronics has been a nightmare to deal with on my end. You are welcome to contact me for more details.

This was the absolute BEST end to end home purchase of our lifetime! We first met our sales professional (Tina) 10 months ago and she was absolutely amazing! All of our questions were answered, follow up and follow through were exceptional! Our building superintendent (Jamie) talked on the phone each week, recapping the progress of the past week as well as gave us a time line for the current week. He took his time to answer all of our questions and went out of his way to help us in every way he could. I so enjoyed each Monday morning conversation with Jamie, telling him I’d miss talking with him after our build was complete. Jamie is a consummate professional with a world class personality and we are so thankful he was in charge of our build. Leigh in the design center was so helpful, professional personable and an amazing interior designer! Diane answered every question we had and her follow up and follow through exceeded any/ all of our expectations!

(1) The uncertainty of when repairs will occur due to the lack of consistent communication with Classic employees. (2) Some trades fix one problem but create additional problems in the process, necessitating return visits. (3) some 30-day items are still not addressed after four months. (4) mislabeled paint tubs/grout tubs provided at closing were used to fix warranty problems but created new problems because of that mislabeling.

I have noticed so many issues after I moved into my new home. The carpet installer did not do good job. We feel so many nails. All the switches are giving us a shot when we are turning them on. My kids are scared to touch it. Last night, I feel so much wind coming from the main door and through windows in the room. It is very hard to sleep. I can't wait 30 days to fix some of these things. I heard from other people that classic build home in rush. Now I can see why they are saying this. I need someone to call me at XXX-XXX-XXXX Thank you!

Where do we start? Our experience was a "10" from start to finish. Even when we were just in the decision process, Tina, Diane, and Christian were attentive and helpful, and never pushy. Jamie and Marcus were excellent as well. We spent a lot of Sundays visiting our build site. The communication between us and the entire Staff was always on time and any issues were resolved promptly.

I am frustrated, it is almost six months since I moved in. I still waiting for the back orders for my kitchen. The missing parts were ordered twice with the wrong color or the wrong sizes. And the third time the team promised to deliver a month ago still hasn’t received

The warranty service was quick to response to my inquiries and appointment request. But after the appointment, I had several cancelation and postpone for the subsequence works. This is my second house so I stay there once in couple of months so getting appointment has been a challenge. Every postpone will set me back couple of months. I was very disappointed in my last appointment when I was told the technician postpone by one day but then did not come. Then when I tried to contact, they never responded to my email. I even contacted the sales team but was refer back to Warranty Service. I would like to provide higher score, but this experience just stop me for doing that.

From the sales process with Tina to the build with Justin to the back order team the team at Classic exceeded expectations every step of the way. They were all friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. We are extremely happy with the quality of our home and recommend Classic to all of our friends.

Liked: The staff from sales to builders to warranty have been very professional, friendly and accommodating. Whenever there has been an issue the whole team works quick to action and make things right. Dislike: Going back to the very initial hunt process. We did not like the lot premiums being hidden and having to ask for each one. A lot of the other builders we looked at we were able to see these online.

The timing has been challenging, but the service so far has been good. The bulk of our warranty repairs have yet to be completed, but our stove hood has been repaired and is working perfectly now.

I put in a service request, honestly I can’t remember when but it was a long time ago about a fence post that is broken on the back fence. The property line fence. It was never repaired. Another thing, part of the railing, completely broke with not much pressure being put in it. In our master bath, the shower heads make noise when water comes out. One of the rooms stays completely cold when the others don’t. A lot of cracks on the concrete. But they might make it 8 years. A few other things but not to big of a deal. The rest is pretty good and better quality than almost all mass builders in town other than custom builders. But to say it was 800k worth. It might be if it wasn’t for the things I mentioned.

The process was very smooth, the Tina Loncar was absolutely amazing! She provided fantastic information and was always available to answer questions or assist during the process. She spelled out every step for us so that we always knew what was coming up next and what we should be expecting throughout the process. We really appreciated her attention to detail and organization as well as her kindness. Jamie and Marcus were our superintendents and they were both fantastic as well. They address all minor concerns that popped up during construction, and were always available to answer any of the random questions that popped into our heads. The Classic Homes team was fantastic from start to finish, we even had an unforeseen hiccup at Closing and everyone was so kind and understanding and help get it resolved super quickly. We have been in the home 1 full week now and are loving every bit of it!

I currently have a service request in about a broken rail on the property line fence that has not been addressed. We will see how this service request goes. Everything else Classic Homes has done as far as service request has been great. I wish some of the finishing in the garage was done better and in the mechanical closet upstairs. Seems like they where rushed and not to much care was taken with those things. Some fishing in the home as well but for the most part we are ok.
