We dislike how much settling occurred on our home we feel that if the soil was properly conditioned and compacted that our house and a lot of other houses on our street would have little settling especially with in a year!

My son Jahara and daughter-in-law Lara, were both able to assist me as I am in another state. The efficiency of designing in the design studio was excellent with Anne, Ryan our Agent, Lara, any myself got the final touches. All during the entire process of building to closure with inspections gave me assurance that quality products and most of all Quality Customer Services with Anne, Eric and some other names who also assisted. I am very pleased with the end result. I am planning to live in my new home in May 2021, as the distance of travel and getting packed to move. Thank you for looking out for my home building. Most importantly the contractor allowed for extra minerals to be earthed reducing the radon effects, as during the home inspection it was extremely lower than normal per Ryan. Thank you for the entire Classic Home Team and the Pentrust Team. Miracles

Our floor is shifting in spots.. we had a gouge in our white kitchen cabinet . And we told them about it in our walk through. And they put a touch up paint on it. And its very noticeable. Our back patio slab cracked all the way through a month after we moved in. One of our Stair banister was never polyurethaned..so it rough and the rest are smooth. One of my ceiling lights downstairs keeps going dim after ten minutes of having the light on. We have a random hole the popped out of drywall by our ceiling in the master.. and the houses are so close together. We have no privacy..AT ALL.

The craftsmanship seems to be lacking a little bit. I am detail-oriented, and keep finding stupid mistakes that a true craftsman in their trade should have noticed. Instead left to see what the home-owner would tolerate.

The sales team was prompt with every single question and issue I had. From the moment I walked in the door of the sales office to the moment I used my keys to unlock my front door for the first time I had every concern looked at almost immediately by Annie, Maureen, Sean, or one of the temporary assistants in at the time. The fact that they were available on the weekends made a huge difference for me in being able to visit the home and to ask questions when I had the time to think of them. I want to call out Sean for his ability to sell me on the idea of building with Classic, he was overtly helpful in giving me an in depth rundown of the process, a complete and honest view of what every step would look like, and he sold me in just one visit to the office. Both Annie and Maureen went above and beyond in a few very meaningful ways, especially during these crazy covid times to help me be able to see my home and make sure that I was prepared for move in. They were the two to most often answer the phone and give me the information I needed right away. They were beyond delightful to work with and I could not more highly recommend a team to go through the home building process with. The design studio was very well thought out and extraordinarily easy and fun to go through. My only complaint here is that I had to go back and forth way too many times via email before my color charts actually reflected all of the choices I had made. If I had not been paying as close attention as I had, at least 3 mistakes would have been made. Including carpet where I had asked for it to be laminate, cabinets not matching the pattern I had chosen, and the color chart not matching the attached pictures with regards to flooring and cost. Cheryl was very gracious (and quick) in making the fixes required, but still was a bit frustrating to have to be so diligent myself. The person deserving the most praise and thanks with regard to this entire process is Curtis. My goodness, whatever you have to do to keep him on board do it. More than that, his interactions with me were enough on their own to leave me wanting to shout from the mountain tops "work with classic!". Curtis is the reason I have such a glowing opinion of Classic. Period. Hard stop. Throughout my time working with y'all there were a number of small issues with the build, which is expected with how quickly you get these homes put together. But that being said, not a single issue went unnoticed by Curtis. It was evident from the start that Curtis cared about my home as much as I did. His eagle eyes called out issues even I myself was unable to notice. His diligence and care about each item is honestly awe inspiring. The first real issue I encountered was when my back patio was poured in the wrong direction due to a flipped image of my house that was referenced. Curtis was quick to pick up and handle the mistake communicating with me through the entire ordeal. Next there were a few small issues in the house including a botched plate for my back door lock and dings on my fireplace mantle. By the next week when I returned to the home, not only had the issues been fixed, but the fixes appeared as if nothing had been wrong in the first place. Plain and simple Curtis listened to each issue I had with grace, took time to understand what I saw wrong and how I though it should change, and then the acted on it quickly and professionally. Give that man a raise, seriously, he rocks at his job. Lastly I have a couple comments about the home itself. 1) I'm disappointed by the default lighting placement in the master closet. I had two " XXXXX " lights sitting right inside the door of the closet that lit the entrance well, but left the two corners in the back looking like the inside of a cave rather than a closet. Either add another light, or spread out the existing lights so I can actually see my clothing. 2) The little room underneath the stairs needs to have a light in it. I am supremely shocked that there is absolutely nothing there. It's a carpeted and finished room, and yet there is absolutely no lighting, how does that make any sense at all? 3) I would love to have a deadbolt on my garage door. At the moment it is just a handle with a lock built in. It seems odd that an entrance to the house, one with a garage door that can be opened by an app (also I hate that), has no deadbolt. 4) Speaking to the above, I understand the appeal of smart homes and app controlled devices. But being a software developer myself and knowing the industry closely, having an app controllable entrance to my home is not something I want included. I was honestly a bit surprised by it and shocked that I hadn't been told about it before move in. 5) There was an additional window in the kitchen which I was forced to purchase, only I wasn't told about it until weeks after I had made the change to extend my kitchen cabinets and counter through the breakfast nook. While the cost was small in the scheme of things, it's disappointing to have surprise costs pop up. Things that I love about my home: 1) The kitchen is absolutely stunning, the granite is amazing and the layout is well thought through. 2) The master bedroom (when extended) is an awesome size and shape. I couldn't be happier with it. 3) The downstairs is perfect for hosting and honestly is what sold me on this model. 4) The open feel of the upstairs with the open kitchen layout feels so spacious and inviting. I love my classic home, I am beyond thankful for the awesome experience I had working with the crazy talented people here at Classic Northfork. And I can happily say that I am a homeowner now because of you!

Our daughter and son-in-law recommended us, as they are Classic Homes homeowners within the Northfork Community. Their experience was wonderful, we loved their home. During our design studio appointments (which we came here from California to do) We were told how exciting it would be to experience the new studio and we would be one of the first clients! The first day was simply awful from the ongoing construction right outside the window AND the continuing construction inside the studio! We could not hear ourselves it was so loud. Second day same thing- Obviously the Design Studio should not have been opened for another 2 weeks. During our initial walkthrough, which was done via face-time with our daughter, son-in-law and the classic homes superintendent, we realized what a serious disappointment it was. There were so many problems, too numerous to mention here. We were shocked that a new house would be presented in such condition. Kitchen cabinets so poorly constructed they need to be redone. Paint on carpet, doors, sliders that won't open all the way due to wedges still in the track, cement on the vinyl wood flooring, splinters from the wood staircase in my hand, this list just goes on. And all the while we are told by the sales office how busy they are, so many homes being built. Unfortunately it shows. We have now been in our house for 3 days (Our house closed 8/27/20 - right on time for Classic Homes accounting!) We arrived on 9/13/20 to move in, we had hoped to set up an appointment with our superintendent to go over the still numerous issues. We have now been calling for 2 days in hopes of contacting him for a final walk-through. Finally the quality of construction is not what we see in our daughter's Classic home which she purchased 2 years ago. It is clear that Classic Homes can not keep up with their rapid growth, as their building/construction quality has clearly declined. Unfortunately we will not be recommending Classic Homes. Final Thought: Classic Homes has a wonderful product, the models are thoughtfully laid out and neighborhood is lovely. Clearly Classic Homes is pushing their construction crews too hard and too fast as a result the quality has suffered dramatically.

Classic promised Smart Home package which is not delivered after a month 3. After repairs, quality of the finish is not same as a new house. Cleaning was not very satisfactory and the garage cleaning is still pending.

Annie, Maureen and Shaun are great with regards to taking care of your needs from showing the home till handover. They served with absolute patience and in co-ordination. Kudos to the trio for their immense support. Even construction team was great in terms of communicating the overall construction progress.

All home plans are good, although there are too many options to choose from. It would be nice if more things are made standard (for example 4' garage extension). If a buyer miss buying an option unknowingly, he may be unhappy later.

Like - 1. Transparency in the process 2. Extremely helpful and accomodating team at the Classic North Fork office. 3. Timely updates and 4. Prompt response to the issue with incorrect plan measurements in our house. Timely planing and action. Dislike - Delays in some of the post-move-in tasks 1. Trash toters are not yet delivered, 2. Classic promised Smart Home package which is not delivered after a month 3. After repairs, quality of the finish is not same as a new house. Cleaning was not very satisfactory and the garage cleaning is still pending.

Warranty is good. I wish they would’ve fixed our grout since the counters settled and left a crack along the counter top where it meets the back splash. As well in our master shower.

The craftsmanship seems to be lacking a little bit. I am detail-oriented, and keep finding stupid mistakes that a true craftsman in their trade should have noticed. Instead left to see what the home-owner would tolerate.

So far, everyone has been very active in trying to resolve any issues that might come up. There have been some delays but that is to be expected with multiple contractors and this virus.

We dislike how much settling occurred on our home we feel that if the soil was properly conditioned and compacted that our house and a lot of other houses on our street would have little settling especially with in a year!
