The master bath toilet room closet is a terrible design. It was only told to us after the fact that someone changed the layout to make it more accessible. Never told that this could be an option. Sales people were extremely friendly and helpful. Same with warranty services.

The sales reps, Annie and Hayden were very knowledgeable, helpful, and very responsive! And extremely professional/kind. John and Kyle were both very kind and professional as well. However, response time addressing our concerns could be improved. However, they never trivialized are concerns or tried to act like it was not their problem. Better QC on all electric working, cement pad, doors not closing, painting behind door joints.

Chase has been really great throughout the warrant process. I have felt a little frustrated by an unresolved warranty issue with the concrete in the basement that is sloped away from the drain and has created water damage from a small leak. While the damage was repaired, the cause was not corrected.

I did not like the false impression that septic systems are easy to maintain. I liked everyone we worked with. I like the quality of the build. I did not like the limitation of how to set up my kitchen appliances.

Warranty claims have been slow... some of them have taken weeks because of their subcontractors going out of business. Frankly, that's not the customer's fault. They can easily find a new subcontractor, they're just pinching pennies.

Almost everything was perfect. There were some build issues that Classic could've committed more time to explaining, some dry wall quality that seemed beneath Classic's efforts but it seems Classic will try to make it right. The A/C units standard with our homes are a bit low budget... I would've happily paid for a stronger unit.

We were misled by classic and would’ve never bought our home if we realized that Our St., Aspen Valley would open up into Sterling Ranch. We bought on that street because we thought it would be a nice safe quiet street but that will not be the case once it’s opened into Sterling Ranch. Classical also decided to cut corners and no put sidewalks on our streets so now we need to worry about the safety of our children.

We voiced our concerns about the quality of the paint and here it is six months later and still no comment on what is going to be done. And our combo wall oven was picked out in November of 2021 (the final signed date from the design center) but you did not place the order until May of 2022. Seven months later - still no oven.

The whole process was seamless. The sales office kept us informed of the progress of the home, to include progress pictures every weekend with the exception of holiday weekends. The construction team also called us every Monday with detailed and thorough updates regarding the status of the home. In addition, the walk through and final walkthroughs were educational and were taken with great care and detail. We loved our purchasing experience with Classic!

Classic Homes does not hold there vendors accountable. Less than a year 98% of the light bulbs are out and grout has disappeared in the kitchen around the entire counter. Less than acceptable vendor quality.

Liked: 1. Sales Team's ( Cheryl Sample and Hayden Fraser) and project manager's (Mikey ) weekly phone calls and emails with building progress and photo updates of our house. This was a very helpful part of our being able to plan and execute our old home sale and our moving plans. 2. Working with the Classic Design Team (Cheryl Windom). Cheryl is very knowledgeable and professional and her advice and recommendations were very helpful in assisting us to pick the right items for our home. 3. Working with the PenTrust Mortgage Group (Shelley Schantini). Shelley and her team provided great customer service and were always available to answer any of our questions or concerns Disliked: 1. We still have not received our final and fully functional working microwave. It has been more that six weeks and we still must use a defective product.

The promise of a quality assurance program was a joke. When we complained about quality of interior paint and trim an attempt to patch was made but was still not satisfactory. We complained again to upper management and again our concerns were ignored. We spoke with Sherwin Williams representative and he agreed our paint job did not look up to Classic standards. He made a suggestion as to what needed to have been done and Classic ignored it. It is not just us being picky - the interior paint job on the doors and trim looks terrible and others have agreed with us. Some trades were good, others were great, but a few were terrible. And they are representing Classic Homes!

Classic was great during building but once we closed the issues began. On our last walkthrough before closing, we made note and the builder marked things needing fixed. Those never were fixed. Paint is already chipping on doors, and baseboards. We had a water leak from the plumber not crimping the pipes to the pipes for the sprinkler system. This should have been caught during inspection. We have had issues with our AC continuously. It has frozen over 6 times. The unit is too small for the house. We change our filters every 2 weeks and this still happens. We had 2 service requests go completely unanswered. Jory is working on rectifying that. We have had many service requests to fix things. While they have been fixed, we feel like so many issues shouldn’t be present in the first year of a brand new home. The customer service was awful as soon as we closed.

We liked the updates we received from the sales team Cheryl and Hayden with the build progress from email, photos, and phone calls. We dislike the attention to detail that the workers had to the overall completion of our home, to include the wrong cabinet color being installed.

James the customer service was very rude in regards to painting, even though it was different paint it was classic fault for not doing things the first time and had to come back and fix things that didn't get fix. He knew it was not going to be fix and he still did it. Poor customer service. Also Cheryl makes me write an email about it and nothing was done, not satisfied at all.

There were a few hic-ups that caused some delays but overall in the end everything was taken care of. Sometimes it just took a little more effort to get the task at hand completed.

Service requests never get a call or anyone to come look. Submitted one over 6 weeks ago for a water leak in the house. No call no email, nothing. Actively leaking water in the house from an un crimped pipe (should have been tested and checked prior to closing) and emergency services said it wasn’t an emergency. I had to hire my own plumber to come fix it. Our AC unit is way too small for our house and freezes constantly and is set to 74 degrees. That should not freeze. Classic (even though we were told to contact them first) wouldn’t help with that so I had to call carrier and they came out and found that our fresh air filter couldn’t even be removed due to plumbing being placed directly in front of it. This wasn’t the cause of freezing but another issue of course. We addressed a dented freezer door at our final inspection before closing. Was told it would get replaced. 4 months after closing a new freezer door with no handle shows up on my door step. No one to install it and no follow up. Paint spots that were supposed to be addressed after the final walk through never got painted. Grout is cracked everywhere, paint is chipping on doors, concrete is cracking. Water run off from our neighbor runs under our concrete driveway and will cause it to break. Once we closed, the demeanor of the classic office staff changed and they definitely do not want to help with anything at all. The constant work vehicles parked in front of our home. We are aware we are across from the model but it’s HOA rules that cars aren’t suppose to park in front of houses. We think it’s insane that we have to follow all HOA rules but the model home doesn’t including the landscaping rules. We had our yard located and our fiber optic was cut because it was only buried 8-9” not 12-18”. When we had to get internet installed, they had a hard time because the contractors did the wiring wrong. We had issues even before closing. Was told one thing by someone and something else by someone else. communication needs improving. Cannot stand the flag pole banging in the wind. They have put on silencers but they constantly come off and it starts banging all day and night. So many issues and terrible service. We make sure to tell people to not go with classic homes after our experience. Our neighbors have also all had issues like us. They are slapping the homes together and not caring about quality or service. When you spend $650k on something you expect quality but this is just not.

Our experience with the Classic team of people has been amazing. With the home, some things were wrong with it that we didn't catch at walk-through (oven doesn't work, replacement oven did not work; paint on window and garage windows; paint drippings; master door wouldn't shut; dimmer was missing on a switch; fuses in two areas of the home kept blowing out). However, Caleb, Kyle, Hayden and Cheryl have all worked very hard to try to support us through these issues.

Lack of follow through on various items on final walkthrough before closing, lack of attention to detail in the home, various items damaged by all trades, “cleaning crew” did not clean our house whatsoever before closing. The whole house was filthy. There were metal shavings in the master shower that my husband almost stepped on that were not cleaned up after the shower door was installed. We were not notified when repair companies were coming, they just showed up at our house. There is paint splattered on our floors everywhere throughout the house. You need to hire more people because there is not enough employees to keep up with the amount of homes you’re building to insure home buyers have a quality experience and home. We did like the sales team, Cheryl and Hayden, they were great to us and very helpful throughout the whole process.
