[name removed]-the subcontractor has been great. We feel there have been too many little issues, but he seems to deal with them all in a timely and professional manner. The buying/planning seems like we should have been offered more options about the patio area particularly--we are VERY dissatisfied with how that turned out. Also would have liked to install a sprinkling system but that was not offered as well as a tankless water heater. Depending on the consumer to think of things like that seems like poor business--that's partially what we paid for!

Our sales rep and field manager were receptive to our concerns. They did a good job of informing us of what was about to happen each week. I was not satisfied with the foundation work. We had leaks in the foundation before we moved in and we are continuing to get water in the basement.

Communication through this process was incredibly poor. The design room experience was difficult and did not help with selections. Options were not discussed or explained. Attaining prices for change orders or upgrades was a headache. Never even saw blueprints for the home. Found several mistakes during the building process. Concrete work is amateur, water doesn’t go to the drain in the basement and front step is rough. House was covered in dust from sanding when we moved in. There is paint splatter all over the floors. Paint looks thin in some areas. We were told we were getting a small concrete pad with one or two steps in the back of the house but we got a cattleguard instead. I personally felt like my family and our future home were not important.

Office staff in the subdivision model was very nice and responsive to emails. We would come by the house during construction on a regular basis. Most times we would find issues and have concerns with the house. We would email the office staff with these concerns, which would be followed up by subdivision construction supervisor. If we did not point these out, they would have not been corrected. We felt like we had always look for what was wrong each time we visited the house instead of enjoying what progress was being made during construction.
