I like the quality of the home and the ability to customized the home as the homebuyer. I also like the variety of floorplans to choose from. I also enjoyed the opportunity to have a payment plan to make the deposits for my upgrades. I loved the excellent communication from the builder's entire team from sales manager to builder superintendent. I did not like having only 1 choice for financing my home loan. I had to go with the builders preferred lender which is not fair. [name removed] home was not complete for move-in some items were pending ex; front door glass etc.

Disliked how we were treated and the overall process. We went with Giddens Homes because they appeared different, a higher quality than other companies. But overall, it has been a let down for what we expected. The best part has been our contractor, as he has been there to help any way he can. But ultimately he has minimal control over all the fine details. He would have to micromanage to accomplish that, and that is not conducive to the effectiveness of his position.

[name removed] [name removed] personnel were great to work with, but a lot of the contract help performed poorly. They were not trained well, not following procedures or not skilled in their job. It seemed that they were always trying to do the job fast instead of focusing on a quality job. Then they would come back to try and fix all their mistakes. [name removed] process should be to do it right the first time. [name removed] main exception I remember was the stone mason who was excellent. A recent example of poor quality, we ordered window blinds from Lowes for the master bedroom (which they measured for) and the window frames are so out of plum that the blinds have to be replaced.

Liked our experience with the Superintendent, [name removed]. Super helpful, patient and informative. He goes above and beyond and gave us a real sense of comfort building our home when we were states away. Contract signing was smooth and done professionally. [name removed] is informative and knows his job well. Design center is not allowed near enough time and we are not given enough information going in as to seeing actual choices, felt very rushed to make really important decision. [name removed] staff at design center is very professional and helpful.

Extremely responsive, friendly and super easy to deal with. Would highly recommend based upon that experience alone! There are a few issues with repairs and construction errors, but we are slowly working through those and we are hopeful to have them resolved soon.

External staff that were involved were great to deal with as well. Design center staff along with Mr. [name removed] provided design input during the selection process.

SuddenLink Cable/Phone /Internet company is worse Customer Service and Hardware/Network EVER experienced . I have used 6 Cable companies in 4 states in the last 30 years. Suddenlink is the WORSE ever. I regret applying for their URELIABLE NON Service

Straight forward, easy to use. Best of all Giddens Homes Superintendent [name removed] goes over and above to support the buyer during the facilitation of warranty items. Of course [name removed] has his limits as to what he can do, however so far he has supported us.

The professional and personal touch both [name removed] as the model home manager and [name removed] as the supervisor of construction provided through the home building experience. These two professionals were over and above meeting our every expectations as we went through the process. They made us feel like part of the homebuilding team. We greatly appreciate their commitment to the customer and your organization as they reviewed our many request and applied sound professional judgment / responses which kept us happy and ensured your standards were maintained. They both deserve praise and credit for a job well done.

Every person was professional, friendly and knew what they were doing and what we needed.

There are two reasons one is [removed] and the second reason is [removed] both gentlemen helped us through the bumps along the way. [removed] was always available to answer question and if he did not the know the answer to a question he would seek out the answer and provide us with the answer, the response was always timely. Both [removed] and [removed] are team players the are proud of the brand that they work for and take pride in working with the customer and meeting their expectations. [removed] is a busy man, responsibilities in the field keep him on the go, however if we texted him about a question or concern [removed] would reply timely as well. Besides [removed] and [removed] having great enthusiasm, they care and are willing to go the extra mile to work with the home buyer. The other reason we have had a good experience is Mr. [removed] himself and team he has put in place, his willingness to be part of the day to day activities and his commitment to quality. Sure, there are issues and with products selected that for manufacturing or other reasons could not or would not be installed. Mr. [removed] and his team stepped up and made the changes to the customers satisfaction without asking for any additional funds, this one course of action along with prescribed cadence with regards to the duration from start to finish of each custom homes construction cycle puts Mr. [removed] and his organization far above the other want-a-be Home builders. Keep it up, it must be working and working well from our point of view.

Quick and efficient. We broke a contract with another builder whom we lost faith in. We saw this home in February of this year. We had asked if you all would take a contingency on the sell of our home in Colorado. At that time you would not. In May when the other builder failed in his commitment. We saw the 109 [removed] Woods Loop House was still available. My wife and I felt it was meant to be for us to enjoy this home.
