[name removed] was great, but have concerns when walk through was done and found crooked wall the general manager said that may be how it has to be. It was fixed but really....made us wonder about other things.

[name removed] entire process was great. Amazing communication throughout the entire process. Amazing quality in their workmanship. Every member of the team was a pleasure to work with and I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family
Windsor, CO, on Jan 07, 2021
Day we got our keys, 12-5-2020, they did not work. [name removed] had to come let us in and she called her boss to reset the locks. There were no garage door openers, or appliance books and the contractor’s doorknob had not been replaced on the east garage door and the drawer to the oven does not sit properly. There was a glass garage door window broken. [name removed] glass was replaced the next day and he gave us two garage door openers (but we have 3 garage doors) along with a garage door manual. Upstairs bathroom cabinets were set to close to the toilet. They knocked out the west wall and moved it 4” back. In doing so they moved the same cabinets and placed over bathroom floor without any tile under it. Also, used previous drilled holes to bring the plumbing through, this causing stress/wedge on plumbing. Then patched up the inner cabinet walls like trailer trash. Mentioned to [name removed] and he said no tile ever goes under bathroom floor, this saves money. So again, $500,000.00 and I have a patched trailer bathroom with wedge plumbing with previous drilled holes not lining up and different color patched in sidewalls. Later that day [name removed] came by with a painter. He was extremely rude and short with his conversations. (This is completely unacceptable and very unprofessional) I caught [name removed] outside walking around showing the painter what to touch up. I asked if he had spoken to [name removed] about our floors, he said yes that there was nothing he could do and that he was with the painter right now. [name removed] came to the door before he left to discuss a time for the painters to come back and I tried showing him the holes in the floors and how rough they still were. He said that is just how they are and nothing they would do about it. If I did not like it, we could fill out a warranty form, but it still would not do us any good. [name removed] next day [name removed] and [name removed] came by. [name removed] had a sample board with her that her boss told her to bring. [name removed] then showed up and commented that the sample board looked and felt much better than our floors. [name removed] also came over and noticed a difference. I explained how the floor wasn’t sanded well if it was sanded at all prior to being stained due to a board in the main walkway of the kitchen wasn’t flush with the rest of the floor by at least 1/4” and then was stained. My husband and I noticed this board during the build of the house, and it was replaced after we said it was not acceptable and the floor had been stained. There was also another place in the entry of the pantry that was in the same manner that is still missing stain. We were told during our walkthrough that the floors would have a nice shiny finish prior to us moving in, by [name removed]. [name removed] and [name removed]’s boss came by and said he wasn’t happy with the board that had been replaced or the on in the pantry doorway and would have a rep from images flooring come look at it and if it needed to be sanded and refinished he would have it done. I let [name removed] know on 12-8-2020 that or garage door handle had been delivered and it still hasn’t been put on. [name removed] outlets on the kitchen wall with the fridge keep flipping the breaker. After it snowed on December 12, 2020, we noticed big icicles hanging off the roof line master bedroom (Northwest conner/middle and Northeast conner). [name removed] sent [name removed] a txt and she said to fill out a warranty form. Images Flooring ([name removed] or [name removed]) came by around 10:45 to11:00 on 12-15-2020 said he would fill knots and re-stain the spot in pantry door way. Said our floors won’t look like samples because it’s not done in a controlled environment and floor finishing will not protect the wood from spills that aren’t immediately cleaned up, that if our dishwasher ever leaks or there are any other spills it will cause permanent water damage to the floors. We were told the granite countertops would come sealed…[name removed] said if we wanted them sealed, we had to do it ourselves. [name removed] backsplash/countertop was broken but glued back together instead of replacing it. Have problems with light switch next to the entry door. (turning off and makes other lights flicker off and on) Stove-Bottom drawer does not close. Pointed this out during walkthrough but now they tell us to call the manufacturer. It came broke it did not happen afterwards so we should not have to deal with it. We have picture documentation of everything, and we can send at any time. Inspection needs to be done by a professional prior to the home buyers walk through. We should not be the one pointing all the major problems on a half of a million dollars house. Secondly, (this one is important) you should never speak rudely, talk down or be short with a home buyer. [name removed] was completely out of line speaking to my wife this way and maybe needs a reminder how to talk to a woman with respect. [name removed] on the other hand has been nothing but a great help all throughout the process!!! She is a sweetheart and a great person.

I like the home. I dislike that my neighbors had the option to finish their backyard. I was not offered that and was told no when asked. I also dislike the fact that I have had warranty claims in for over 3 months and they have yet to be fixed. I disdain the fact that your company employee ran in to my wifes car and the solution was to let insurance deal with it.
Windsor, on Nov 30, 2020
Too few electrical outlets in garage, basement and outside. We needed to install outlet in garage ceiling for radon mitigation, should have come with the house. No fan over stovetop. And, stovetop too small, should install 36 inch one.

[name removed] sales office person was very easy and enjoyable to work with. We purchased a home that had previously gone under contract with a different buyer. We tried to have the exterior colors changed but Horizon View was not willing to work with us on that, which was a bit disappointing Everything else went fairly smooth.

Windsor, on Apr 13, 2020
Unfortunately I cannot recall a "best" experience with this company. We have been fighting to get the warranty work done every step of the way! We STILL do not have issues repaired from the time we turned them from our move-in in July! When we did have someone come out to try and fix the problem, they messed it up or did not fix it correctly and had to come back several times. I had to take off of work and used vacation to be on-site for the repairs (inside work) and there were times they did not even show up. I am afraid that the end of the warranty period is drawing near and I still will be fighting to have them fix these items or they will say the time period is up and they are no longer going to fix anything that was already on the list!

Horizon View Homes has more than met all of our expectations. The people we worked with were friendly, honest and forthright. From the contract signing, through home delivery, they kept us informed of the progress on our home. Our house was delivered on time in wonderful condition. We love the design/ floor plan and quality of the materials in the house. The Horizon team has been very quick to respond to any issues we have had with our home. We have been in the house for 10 months now and we couldn't be happier with our choice of builder, our house and the community that we live in. This is the 3rd home we have built and we can definitely say that Horizon View Homes has been the best experience we have had. Thank you Horizon View Homes !
