[name removed] much to like at this point. No timely communication on major issues with our new home. Safety issues not fixed and treated as minor inconveniences. Bathroom leaking in the basement with no resolution. [name removed] plumber just told us not to use it until they could get someone out, which never happened. Looks like there may be mold and cement slab damage. We had an inspector come and he found some major code violations, which we will share with [name removed] who came out yesterday to help get some of these issues resolved. At this point, we can not give Horizon [name removed] Homes a good review at all. We'll see how your company handles these major problems for us from today on. This is going to be a major inconvenience, but issues need to be fixed as soon as possible. It will need to be arranged around my husbands schedule. We are eager to hear from Horizon [name removed]. The crack in the sidewalk entering the front door is a concern for us. It does meet builder standards; however, it does not meet ours. It is the first thing one sees as they enter the front door of our lovely home.

The overall experience was excellent. Change orders were managed efficiently, communication was very concise (extremely important for out of state buyers) and the closing was managed with professionalism and warmth. We felt respected and part of the entire process. After Closing, the follow ups, transfer of knowledge and general commitment to ensure we were well taken care of was an unexpected bonus and refreshing. Highly recommend this team as they went above and beyond our expectations. Thank you for building us a spectacular house - we LOVE it!

I enjoyed working with [name removed], our salesperson. I dislike the "thrown together" condition of the house. I am disappointed in the quality especially for a $650K house. We have engaged the warranty team so time will tell if the issues will be resolved.

[name removed] front end of my experience was fantastic. [name removed] sales team couldn't have been better. [name removed] and [name removed] were amazing. After move in, it has been extremely disappointing. [name removed] warranty process has been a nightmare. [name removed] irony behind all of this is, I bought a Horizon View home to avoid the problems associated with our Journey home, and we have had more problems with our Horizon View home. Still items from our punch list open and we are close to our 1 year. On top of that, our warranty has been passed from person to person, and we have items that their "boss" won't pay for. I believe we are currently on person 4-5 handling our warranty items. Excellent customer service to have a guy in an office who has never seen a single issue at my home making decisions. Sounds more like he decided he doesn't want to pay for something rather then what's the right decision.

Good morning, I think the process overall was done well. However, some of the items installed in the house and the sub standard touch up paint areas are a concern for us. Horizon View homes did communicate effectively through the process and this was helpful in planning and appreciated. All representatives have been helpful and professional through the process. Recently we were surprised by crews arriving at our house to install sod. This was not planned well, as our sprinkler box is not wired and does not work. Also, in speaking with the personnel installing the sod, they refused to install without the sprinklers on, even though I explained the issue to them. They proceeded to install grass on both neighbors lawn and neither had their sprinklers on. I do think that every home purchase should be made through project management, sharing the build with the buyers, letting them in on the project they are purchasing. I have more but will provide in depth to our 30 day warranty meeting. Thank you.

When we moved in the dishwasher kept sliding backward on the bottom; the men came and fixed it but it's doing it again. I've placed a request to get it fixed. [name removed] drain spout by the 3rd bay garage was was not draining properly and we had ice coming down the driveway, men came to fix it and we noticed today that with the snow melting we have a sheet of ice coming down the 3rd bay walk that covers the entire 3rd bay entrance. I also have the cabinet that seems to be breaking away from the wall. We thought it just needed chalking but now after a few months we're seeing a space between the cabinet and the wall. With the cold/freezing weather the front window had ice on the inside of the window that I had to scrape off. These are the big things now that are not cosmetic. I had a list going to have the cosmetic concerns addressed at our 11 month time frame.

I disliked working with the warranty people. [name removed] work they did could have been done in two days, yet they delayed and stalled taking 10 months to complete the simple fixes. I disliked the cleanliness of my home when we moved in. [name removed] composite floors looked good but all they really did when they sealed the floors was seal in the dirt that they failed to pick-up, clean-up, and remove. I disliked the poor quality lights that were installed. One by one they quickly burnt out and eventually all of them have been replaced within the first year. I disliked the gas stove that was installed. Each time we use it, we have to open the patio door and windows so we don't inhale the unburnt gases. I disliked the poor quality cement work that was done. All of it has cracked outside of the expansion joints in many places. [name removed] integrity of your warranty people is sad and it is bad enough that I would not recommend anyone to purchase a home from Horizon View so that no one would have to endure the lies ands disappointments of that team ([name removed] and [name removed]).

The quality of the home is above and beyond our expectations except for a cracked sidewalk at the entrance of our home. We were told it is "builder standards." However, it is not our standards. Other than that, everything went smoothly from signing the contract to closing.

Everyone on staff Has absolutely gone out of their way to explain everything and or correct any of the very minor issues that we had. We have had issues with getting our 30 day warranty needs met and we moved in in March. Our basement floor is also uneven and we were basically told it would be too difficult to even the floor out. Having said that, we do enjoy our home and the layout.

We were impressed with the weekly phone call/email updates provided every Wednesday as well as the periodic on-site meetings with the project management/construction team. [name removed] and [name removed] displayed the utmost honesty and integrity when answering any questions or addressing any concerns we had throughout the entire process, including providing us a heads up prior to the orientation that there were some items that still needed to be fixed/corrected. They also made it a priority to address a handful of concerns we had once we moved in by quickly contacting the appropriate people to help fix the issues (leaky sprinklers, front door entry light issue, switching out chipped windows). They made a usually very stressful life process much less stressful! We also liked that the base price of our Newport model included several traditional "optional" items such as a finished basement and air conditioning. This was one less thing we had to worry about once we moved in! One opportunity for improvement we would like to offer is that when we visited the home on a weekly basis to see the progress of construction (we were local), there was always a decent amount of trash (bottles, beer cans, wrappers, etc.) laying around. While we realize we did not own the home at this time, we worried about the aforementioned trash attracting bugs that could decide to take up permanent residence in the home. It should be communicated to all contractors/sub-contractors to please clean up their trash before to leaving the site everyday.

Our first warranty representitive ([name removed]) seemed very unorganized and did not keep us informed as to the status of our warranty tickets. We had submitted several tickets and after two months we had not received any communications on the handful of issues with our home. However we were very impressed with [name removed] and [name removed] when our AC unit did not turn on in the late spring. They had the issue resolved within a few hours. [name removed] has also been a joy to work with and is a great representation of excellent customer care. Our new warranty representative [name removed] has been a welcome change and communicate much better and has taken care of our warranty issues in a timely fashion.

Pre move in walkthrough was great! [name removed] 30 day walk through was great too. I have since submitted additional claims and a nice man came to the house to walk through it with me. He told me he would schedule the subcontractors to address issues on a certain date and some people did not show nor have I gotten any follow up from Horizon View

[name removed] only reason I didn't give 10/10 was although communication was great, we were initially told we would have weekly check-ins. This didn't always happen. Sometimes if there wasn't a call, we would get an email update and that was helpful too. My recommendation would be to not promise a weekly check-in unless you can follow through. I understand that there wasn't always something to update and if we had questions, we always had quick responses.

Have had 2 open tickets for over 4 months Field rep [name removed], doesnt follow up on repairs. Phone number under the sink to mechanical contractors on weekends do go to a blocked number.

We have had issues with getting our 30 day warranty needs met and we moved in in March. Our basement floor is also uneven and we were basically told it would be too difficult to even the floor out. Having said that, we do enjoy our home and the layout.

Our first warranty representitive ([name removed]) seemed very unorganized and did not keep us informed as to the status of our warranty tickets. We had submitted several tickets and after two months we had not received any communications on the handful of issues with our home. However we were very impressed with [name removed] and [name removed] when our AC unit did not turn on in the late spring. They had the issue resolved within a few hours. [name removed] has also been a joy to work with and is a great representation of excellent customer care. Our new warranty representative [name removed] has been a welcome change and communicate much better and has taken care of our warranty issues in a timely fashion.

Pre move in walkthrough was great! [name removed] 30 day walk through was great too. I have since submitted additional claims and a nice man came to the house to walk through it with me. He told me he would schedule the subcontractors to address issues on a certain date and some people did not show nor have I gotten any follow up from Horizon View

[name removed] much to like at this point. No timely communication on major issues with our new home. Safety issues not fixed and treated as minor inconveniences. Bathroom leaking in the basement with no resolution. [name removed] plumber just told us not to use it until they could get someone out, which never happened. Looks like there may be mold and cement slab damage. We had an inspector come and he found some major code violations, which we will share with [name removed] who came out yesterday to help get some of these issues resolved. At this point, we can not give Horizon [name removed] Homes a good review at all. We'll see how your company handles these major problems for us from today on. This is going to be a major inconvenience, but issues need to be fixed as soon as possible. It will need to be arranged around my husbands schedule. We are eager to hear from Horizon [name removed]. I enjoyed working with [name removed], our salesperson. I dislike the "thrown together" condition of the house. I am disappointed in the quality especially for a $650K house. We have engaged the warranty team so time will tell if the issues will be resolved.

[name removed] front end of my experience was fantastic. [name removed] sales team couldn't have been better. [name removed] and [name removed] were amazing. After move in, it has been extremely disappointing. [name removed] warranty process has been a nightmare. [name removed] irony behind all of this is, I bought a Horizon View home to avoid the problems associated with our Journey home, and we have had more problems with our Horizon View home. Still items from our punch list open and we are close to our 1 year. On top of that, our warranty has been passed from person to person, and we have items that their "boss" won't pay for. I believe we are currently on person 4-5 handling our warranty items. Excellent customer service to have a guy in an office who has never seen a single issue at my home making decisions. Sounds more like he decided he doesn't want to pay for something rather then what's the right decision.

I disliked working with the warranty people. [name removed] work they did could have been done in two days, yet they delayed and stalled taking 10 months to complete the simple fixes. I disliked the cleanliness of my home when we moved in. [name removed] composite floors looked good but all they really did when they sealed the floors was seal in the dirt that they failed to pick-up, clean-up, and remove. I disliked the poor quality lights that were installed. One by one they quickly burnt out and eventually all of them have been replaced within the first year. I disliked the gas stove that was installed. Each time we use it, we have to open the patio door and windows so we don't inhale the unburnt gases. I disliked the poor quality cement work that was done. All of it has cracked outside of the expansion joints in many places. [name removed] integrity of your warranty people is sad and it is bad enough that I would not recommend anyone to purchase a home from Horizon View so that no one would have to endure the lies ands disappointments of that team ([name removed] and [name removed]).
