I love the floor plan ([name removed]), that is what first won me over. When I first went into the office, [name removed] worked with me and immediately made me feel confident about purchasing a home. He was very easy to talk to and helpful and the perfect first face to meet. I also feel like I was incredibly blessed to have my builder, [name removed]. He was very accommodating and patient and truly made me feel like he wanted to make the best home for me. Afterwards I worked with [name removed] for my walkthrough and he was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and made sure to inspect my house several times. He followed up with and always made time to work around my schedule. My only complaint was when I worked with the design studio. The person I worked with was friendly and seemed helpful, but the process felt so rushed and I felt limited in my options. I also was upset later to find some of the things I was told during my first meeting changed after my second meeting. Such as being told I can only pick a few choices, then later coming back and being told other options were available. It just felt like what I was told during my initial meeting where I picked my choices was intentionally limited so I would pick my selections faster. Also the session was too short. I am making a life choice, I wish I had not felt as rushed and had more time to think about my choices before finalizing anything. I also was not happy with the work done on my front garden. Cheap materials that are not good for my plants were used, however, the HOA expects me to take responsibility if the plants die. If this is the case, I feel like Ideal should put more effort into the initial set up of the garden. I had to pick out so much construction material and sand and debris. It felt like a poor job considering what I paid for. Overall though, I had a great experience, I just wish the design studio was more accommodating and had more customization options and that the garden was better quality.

The beginning was great then after the house was built and we were selling It due to unforeseen circumstances we could get no help fixing the issues that were wrong with It. The inspector had a list of items that we had to fix and I couldn’t get any help. Why am I paying to fix a brand new house? That was promised would be done right.

I already have things falling apart in addition to the fact nothing from the walkthrough was fixed. Definitely not a move in ready experience nor welcoming. Trees died since they were planted in freeze Temps and no one will help. Random maintenance calls etc

The address wasn’t listed with the post office so we’ve had a minor mail issue. We moved in February 14th and had AT&T scheduled to come out on the 19th but they apparently didn’t have lines laid to allow for internet. We hope we get it on April 9th as thus has had a negative impact on our businesses as we do a lot of work from home and can’t do so without internet.

My only feedback is that all the information in the home preview was a little too overwhelming to remember. I wish I had video of it or had a written copy. I have called customer care a few times since for clarification. Thanks!

[name removed] was great, my home is finished nicely. However, it was quite dirty when we took possession and they had to come back to clean and then still didn't do a great job. I still have screens that are not replaced. They were bent. This has been sent to [name removed] and he has not responded to this item alone. He has responded to all other items.

Overall, my home was not handed over with everything I had request. I am not please, home seemed rushed. Finance was rude and lacked customer service. Overall, I would not recommend Ideal homes.

We liked how [name removed] kept us updated and was always there to help. We did not like the multiple delays of our driveway getting poured. This caused a delay in closing which ultimately caused us over a thousand dollars. Upon move in we noticed a couple of things were not completed from our inspection. The main thing being our master shower not draining. We followed up and eventually it did get taken care by the care team! We were happy with how quick it got taken care of!

They have fixed most of the things that were small flaws, but it’s been a real battle getting the front entryway fixed. The siding has been torn off the exterior of the entryway since Labor Day.

Citiwide loans seemed to do things very last minute. Requested the same documents on 4 different occasions then immediately sold our mortgage to another Company that doesn’t have locations in Oklahoma. House was filthy on move in. We requested the cleaners to come back and clean, upon their return they left scratched on the floor and soap scum covering a large portion of the floor

I liked the ease of design as well as the customer service of all of the employees of ideal. They were all very nice and professional. I dislike the flaws in the building process(rework) and quality of work as well as time it took to complete. It ended up costing me a 2% hike in interest rates whereas if it was completed on time IAW the agreement, my interest rate would be significantly lower.

I like that the company was willing to be flexible to our needs. I did not like that the promises to have the list of things to fix before closing was not done and had to escalated. However all our interactions with them employees of ideal homes was very pleasant and friendly.

The house was completely dirty upon move in. There were Mud stains all over the carpets and the floors hadn’t been mopped and you could see mud tracks. I’m addition, about a week after closing I find out that one of the items in the attic had not passed an inspection which posed an inconvenience to me having to leave work to accommodate the inspector and builder. I am upset that I felt like I was pressured to close early when I wanted to push my closed at least a week later. It was disappointing that so many things were left unfinished.

Many things were not completed before move-in. We inquired about several things weeks before closing and were assured they would be completed before move-in. They were not. In addition, we had an inspection completed over a month before closing. There were several items included in the inspection report that we were assured would be taken care of before closing and move-in date. They were not. For example, the inspection report showed that an electrical breaker needed to be replaced. Several electrical outlets in the kitchen were not working. The afternoon that we moved in we plugged in the refrigerator to find that none of the outlets in the kitchen were working. We have lived in our home for about 6 weeks now and we still don't have a toilet paper holder & towel ring in our guest bath and one of the windows in the front bedroom is missing the crank to open it. I have been in communication with our customer service representative but follow through seems very delayed. There are other things we would like to report but at this point we don't have much confidence that it will be a priority to address. We do love our home and the community we chose so far but sadly a lot of the work done throughout the home seems rushed and completed with lack of care.

Main complaint is with some of the finishes on door handles/door knobes having dents or paint on them or on the floor. These were addressed in the blue tape inspection but not taken care of. Then brought up at the 30 day walk through. We also have some landscaping issues in our back yard where there is a low point that floods and drains off but leaves that area heavily saturated. Our dogs then track mid into the house. The solution now was to put sand over that area covering the grass. It’s now not saturated but it’s just not how I would have done it. The grass should have been pulled back gravel/sand put down to allow the water to drain then topsoils put down on top then the grass. Raising up the area. Others than those things the home is amazing we really like it. It’s built great and we are happy with the location. The workers that are building the other homes that are still under construction have been great with not starting to early or working to late.

Home not really clean and ready for move in fully. Led to me having to take what I feel was unreasonable time off work to keep having folks come make repairs or clean up. In the end it worked out though but very stressful experience. Dealing with a lot now with trash, blocking of driveways and roads and massive mud amounts now

I love my home and floor plan. My seller [name removed] was very attentive to me and my family needs throughout our process of buying our home. We really appreciate it. She Listen to us took us several ideal home sites.The experience of buying a new home from ideal homes should have been one of the best moments but instead was meant with a lot of miscommunication or no communication within its own company or to us in [name removed] lake which in turned caused issues with us moving in and living here.The quality of home itself has me a bit worried. I bought a new home and that is exactly what I hope to get top bottom. Instead I got broken doors with putty on them., draws cracked cabinets with putty. The fence is even another story. I’m very surprised your builder accepted/approved some of the contractors they hired workmen ship. When I decided to go with an ideal home I did my homework on it. I did go look other homes but always came back to ideal because of its quality and reputation through out the years. I wondering if I made the right choice but I believe the owners should also worry about the hard earned reputation there family work for and the home quality they are producing and company line of communication issues from top to bottom. I have had a few issues with the customer care line but [name removed] one of the customers care has been helpful on some of my questions. We have been trapped in our subdivision with no we out and no notification how to get out. We had no mail for a month. Had go post several occasions and bring proof that there was a subdivision out there. No trash service for same reason. Was told by employee didn’t I know how to change my address to get mail. You might want to make sure your area exists in google maps before your people start moving in. No my experience wasn’t good one but I’m hoping will improve in time and I hope by writing this will help the company in some way in the future an other people purchasing there homes from ideal.
