Performed minor door adjustments, tightened loose hinge and door hardware. Light fixtures were loose with missing fasteners. Door and window sills had grout stuck in tracks. Other than a few other set backs this house should be a beautiful solid home for the future. Thank you ideal homes.

Our housing experience took nearly 3 years to complete. We started the process when we were living in Vegas, and had to wait over 18 months to begin construction in Red Canyon Ranch because of the wait to pave the curbs and start the property. The custom design experience was wonderful, and [name removed], [name removed] and especially [name removed] are truly amazing employees. However, during the build once it began we again had numerous delays and issues due to the retaining wall failing, pushing back the timeline an additional 4 months. In the end it was all handled and allowed us the chance to fix any potential issues during the build before we moved in with a couple of two small exceptions, but it certainly required a lot of patience and amazing customer service by everyone involved to ensure we were satisfied.

The tile work in the master bath isn’t quite up to par. There’s black speck something in part of the grout around the backsplash of the tub which doesn’t look good. The grout work isn’t very good in my opinion. Also the grout around the floor tile in the master bath was dirty and stained when I moved in that I haven’t been able to remove. One of the tiles is higher than it should be. I’m going to have to do touch up paint already on the baseboard in the master bath that was bubbled up and when I cleaned it, paint crumbled off. The faucet on the tub in the master does not seem long enough. Running water into the tub gets water all over the tile behind it because it hits the top part of the tub when it runs. I was very upset before closing when I found the air conditioner had been put on the patio in which I had specifically stated I did not want. But that was remedied before closing and I was very satisfied with that. Part of my concrete on my patio has crumbled off which is not a huge deal, but just doesn’t look so nice or like a brand new house. Same in the garage but I went ahead and epoxied the floor anyway. There is a big sharp nail that was left in my garage wall that sticks out I saw when I did the floor. It was never removed. One of the trees in the front yard has wire sticking up out of the ground that wasn’t buried or cut off. The other tree doesn’t have that. The wooden fencing on the sides of the backyard could really use some correction. There’s boards popping loose, splitting boards, and it was built so high in some places, I have had to put makeshift gardening siding there to keep one of my dogs from going underneath it and getting out. Same with the chain link in the back. Even the gate in the back has a significant gap to one side. Definitely not centered up and my smaller dog could fit through it to get out. The masonry work in some areas looked very crumbly. My builder took care of some of it for me before closing on the pillars on the patio, but there’s many areas where it’s not where I feel it should be for a new home. Even some areas that I pointed out on the front porch near the entry where the brick is cracked. I am satisfied with living here. It may not sound like it above. I was just trying to point out the things I am not impressed with so maybe the next person down the line will have a better experience or those issues won’t be there.

I have had several issue with the home. One stool has been replaced, guest tub shower had to be reinforced flooring cut sheet rock to get to it, now repairing. Master tub cracked and had to repair long with recaulking. Fresh air duct filter was not installed for filter. Kitchen back splash caulking to cabinet top had to be redone. Currently garage side entry door leaking and is being repaired. Most of repairs have been completed others are scheduled. I’m just disappointed that builder did not catch all of these needed repairs at final inspection.

I understand that it often takes time to get work orders completed do to being backed up. However, I'd like to see work orders being completed in a more timely manner. I put in a work order for my sidewalk to be repaired 3 weeks ago and it has yet to be fixed.
