Issues we experience there is always an excuse for it. We are told it will get scheduled to get fixed then we get a new story about how it’s not something willing to be fixed anymore. It’s insane! Customer Care is more of Customer Don’t Care Department. Wish it was different especially this being my 3rd home purchased with Ideal Homes but it will be my last one!

Things that needed corrected before move in were not done or were downplayed as not an issue when for paying $417k for a home, it should’ve absolutely been corrected. Still have issues that aren’t corrected.

All was great except some minor issues that have occurred with things throughout the house but [name removed] with ideal homes was and has continued to be on it immediately, I have greatly appreciated her help with any and all issues that have happened she is on top of it all the time she is an awesome ideal homes associate, I give [name removed] a 20 out of 10 ????

Overall really like the house. Most of the trim work looks like it was slapped together. Edges protruding past the corners, dowels put around the front door window looks like a grandson did the work. Shower head not aligned with valve. When mentioned about the workmanship I was told it was within specs.

I love my house but there were a few corners cut and the yard, like all the other yards in the neighborhood was put on top of all the trash left behind by the construction crew. There are dumpsters the crew does not use and there are no trash bags, so they just through the trashnon the ground instead of using the dumpsters. The site managers do not enforce cleanliness on the site. The fireplace says it is ready for a blower (according to the manual you gave me at move in) and other accessories but it was not installed correctly so I can't use the fireplace like I want to and I was told on the walk through that it was ready for the blower to be installed. When I realized it did not work, I informed the customer service. I have heard no more information on when this will get fixed and when I asked I get told to wait longer and asked questions that have already been answered. The HOA is anything but an HOA. Notices that the "board" voted yet no one can tell me who is on the board. And the HOA management company is less than motivated to do anything but find excuses on way they can't do the job they are paid to do. Mean while the "board" voted to raise the dues they don't pay cause they live in a different area entirely! It may identify as an HOA, but it is not!

The tacks on the carpet were still sticking out, so we stabbed our feet. Our lights in the bathroom keep burning off, our fence got messed up when they build the house next door( our gate doesn’t close now). Just small stuff.

The HOA is not a fully functional HOA, there are issues the homeowners are trying to get addressed and are unable to do to the current structure of the existing HOA. It should not be allowed to be called an HOA, there are no meeting and no votes, there are no homeowners concerns being addressed. It is simply a fund Ideal charges to help with their development cost in my opinion and I feel I was mislead. I am being charged for neighborhood lawn care, not an HOA, to call it that is wrong.

Disliked the weather.. which was out of Ideals control. Didn’t like the water line being disrupted.. which including the weather pushed back our timeline. Disliked the plan for the care of the sod. It was fairly dead upon arrival. Thoroughly love the design, the construction, the customer service and the communication from Ideal after the first sellers agent discontinued communication with us and our agent several months into the process. Given, all events, Ideal definitely showed us that they will continue to provide great customer service… even through rough patches. Overall, the experience was good. Ideal performed well and I would recommend Ideal to a friend.

There were a few questions asked before closing that were never really looked into and now they are going to have to take some things apart to fix an issue. Hassle could have been avoided if issue was taken seriously. The positives were the customer care walk through of the house and explaining information that may have been missed.

Liked the presentation [name removed] conducted. I was not impressed with the contractors representative that accompanied her. I am not satisfied with the finish of the driveway where the garage door seals against the concrete. It needs to be repaired properly. Ideal sent the garage door contractor to install a thicker seal instead of repairing the concrete. Still waiting for the seal. Still waiting for the microwave trim to be installed. I had to repaint the garage interior walls myself.

I HAD AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE with the warranty/customer service. I called about cabinets/doorframe rubbing as well as cracking grout. I was given an appointment the next day and the man who helped me not only fixed those issues, but fixed several things I hadn't noticed as well as gave me tips on how to best set my thermostat to prevent humidity and save money. Amazing customer service.

Everything was excellent. There are a few small items that still need to be addressed but over all, excellent. I did try to follow up on a few of the small items but was told by [name removed] "my obligations to you ended at closing." Needless to say, that did not sit well with me, but the rest of the experience was perfect and I absolutely love my home.

Likes: Time frame was very close of what was expected, great customer service from builder to agent, quality of the home, fantastic warranty of 2 years, garage door app (this is wonderful) Dislike: Cost of home, no option to make changes or customize. testing air-conditioner before I moved in, the welding was not come properly and there was no Freon when I loved in, (like that, house there is a 2 year warranty to resolve this issue), house was not clean at closing (this was done after I moved in and builder made sure it was clean before I moved all my things in), I think I would make sure that the customer knows the measurements for the windows - I lived in the house for over 2 weeks, I just didn't realize or know it would take that long to order blinds.
