I know life is not perfect, but I do suggest you have a thorough inspection of the house and finishes (such as counter tops have been cleaned w/o stains or marks, mirrors don't have stain, etc)- this type of inspection, before you meet with customer on the last walk through, before closing. I'm a perfectionist and expect things to be in order on the presentation day. Overall, I'm 10/10 satisfied with the services, interaction with the staff (from purchasing to closing) and the end product. I was happily surprised with the whole process. I would buy another house rom [name removed]. Thank you.

I could write an essay about the horrific experience we had with building this home. I believe, because you are governed by local and state codes, that the structural portion of our home is good quality. The quality stops there. The management and oversight of the construction and the sub contractors was non existent. The home was turned over to us with a 2 page punch list outstanding and filthy. I have never seen a new home that does not get cleaned prior to turn over.

While some of the vendors have been challenging in correcting/fixing thing, [name removed] has done an AMAZING job of staying on top of things, acting expeditiously, carefully and always being very responsive. We have loved how [name removed] is so thorough, taking notes, following through. He, [name removed] (our project manager--I am sorry that in one of these evaluations when I was frustrated I did not give him top marks, I know how hard he tried and how much he cared, [name removed] and [name removed], were all standouts in making our [name removed] experience great.

At the 2 month walk through [name removed] was unprofessional. Our pre-closing walk-through was rushed due to understaffing on [name removed]‘s end. We were told that the two month walk-through we would address any minor things that didn’t prevent closing but needed to be taken care of. When I pointed out the items of concern [name removed] told me it was his job to not allow us to blame kolter for things that we caused damage to. I explain what has happened at the time of closing and that we had been advised to keep a list and address it at the two month walk-through. He told me he wasn’t fixing it because it was my fault. Eventually we got to a point where it was taken care of by working with the office. This was really unacceptable since this was a new home purchase and they were minor items that ended up being fixed by a couple of service people in a couple of hours.

We have two pending issues that were caused when our gas leak was repaired on Dec 2nd. Irrigation system along front walk is buried. The new gas line was installed along front walk. The stucco repair were new gas line enters home needs to be painted.

The purchasing experience was very positive. [name removed], who I worked with was extremely helpful during this process. She was well informed and communicated with us at every step. She continued to stay involved to help us navigate through all the issues we have had. The design process was also very well organized. [name removed] was knowledgeable and was extremely accommodating during the design phase. She continued to be helpful when I reach out to her with questions related to my home. I did feel some of the design choices were limited. When additional choices became available, I was able to go back to the design center and select from those options. I was not here much during the building process. The few times that I did come and see the home. I was able to identify issues and [name removed] addressed them for us. He also communicated via text to inform us of the progress of the home. I realize that due to supply chain issues some products were not available ad we had to make alternative choices during the building process. The closing was also very well organized. Everyone involved was very helpful and everything went smoothly. The biggest issues were during the walk throughs.There were so many problems with the house. It was impossible to identify all of them as we went through. What was most disappointing is the quality of the workmanship and the condition of the house at move-in. It’s also been a struggle to get these issues rectified.

On the other hand, they can’t control some of the sub contractors, and we had some issues, which the [name removed] team corrected, but that required more than one attempt at repair.

told of several misleading (lies) features when dealing with sales rep; im at Artisty; we were told there would be pickle ball and bocce courts; there is only a basket ball court which seems to be never used by anyone and is a waste of space. also the access space to my back yard is pretty much non existent unless you count an opening of less than 2 feet adequate.

I think Kolter builds a secure house. However, they do not make finishing detail important There are too many cosmetic details that they are not concerned about. If the builder representatives do not care about details the subcontractors will not are. Too many bad detail issues.

I like the fact that there is a warranty and most items have been fixed. A little disappointed in how long a few items took in order to be fixed. But indeed, they were almost all eventually fixed. The service has been outstanding. The communication by phone falls short.

The warranty process to get issues addressed seems to take forever. In most cases we have had to address an issue multiple times because it is not resolved. Sometimes the vendors don't show up when they are supposed to after we arrange our schedules to accommodate the time. That can be really frustrating.

I disliked not having very much flexibility with scheduling the design selections. We did all of it in one day because we could not be accommodated for 2 days while we were in town. It was a struggle and we made a lot of design selections that we now regret.
