Every person that works for you said the model was a dream home and not what we should expect. That [name removed] is a production home. Seems like false advertising. Seems like you would want to do better.

Likes: 1. I thought the sales staff were friendly and knowledgeable. [name removed] did a great job. 2. It works well to have the structural options selection complete at time of contract and not during the selection process. 3. I thought [name removed] did a great job. We are from out of town so she accommodated us and we completed all the selections in 1 day. I liked the use of the mini prints with the markup and detailed sketches laying out what we had selected and the design. Customer sign off on all paperwork and drawings keep things clear and eliminated gray areas. 4. There were a wide range of standards, options and upgrades to select from. 5. Both [name removed] and [name removed] kept us informed about the next steps in a timely manner throughout the pre-construction process. Dislikes: 1. Did not like CTC mortgage. Because I am self employed [name removed] of CTC made it seem like my case was extra complicated. He took forever to get me approved, every week he wanted additional information, most of it redundant. Buy the time he gave me a pre approval my rate had gone from 2.85% to 4.5%. I finally paid cash just so I wouldn't have to deal with [name removed]. 2. Had 3 different superintendents 3. We were to have weekly update phone calls. They were sporadic at best, [name removed] was our last superintended and he only called if there was a question. but it was my understanding that the procedure changed and that the sales agents were giving updates. [name removed] was the most consistent. My opinion is that it should fall on the superintendents and not the agents to give the updates. 4. Material shortages, and subcontractor delays. I know its a national problem but I wanted to mention it. 5. House was not ready at closing.

A little unhappy with the design team. I was not informed during my meeting with the design team that my closet tile would not match my bathroom tile if I had known that I would have went a different route. I think it looks mismatched and now I have to keep my closet doors closed

I am very dissatisfied with [name removed]’s emergency service, which is nonexistent. When our AC went out, I called the local [name removed] number and only got a voicemail and there upon called the emergency number. The soonest someone who fix the AC was a week later. Atrocious and nonexistent emergency service. Would a Kolter Homes executive experience that or would someone work to emergency service? It is awful to offer customers emergency service and then have it be nonexistent!

My owner's bathroom has been a thorn since before closing. It is not fair to place that in the warranty department. I am still missing the cap for the pony wall between the shower and tub with [name removed] refusing to provide since the shower glass has been installed. This is the same glass which was not correct prior to closing because the wall had to be reduced because of the tub not fitting. Additionally, I waited over 90 days to get my shower glass and yet the cap on the pony wall is too much for [name removed] to provide. I have been the one compromising through this entire owner's bath situation and see no focus on the customer from [name removed]. What I continue to get is more of an attitude that I should be thankful for the bath provided. The tub shower is an upgrade for which I paid, and I am not getting part of that upgrade nor particularly good customer service. This is one among many indicators that the focus is on meeting timeline and quota over customer service.

Lack of followup. Many items on our 11-month Warranty Walk-Through are still on since 6-24-2021.We have been lied to. We have been provided defective materials. We have had unsupervised apprentices working on our home.
