[name removed] and [name removed] of the warranty department are awesome. They are both fantastic at their jobs - great customer service and tremendous follow up while completing their jobs. We did have a great builder in [name removed] but he left before the completion of our home. Overall [name removed] build us a very nice home our disappointment comes from the delay in clubhouse and some of expectations that we’re presented during the sales team which have never been done or lived up. After visiting the other GA [name removed] communities we were excited about what CTL would be but many things have changed and the things that sold us on the community are not being provided. Again [name removed] and [name removed] are both just shining stars and have help me feel much better about our choice to buy a home at CTL..Thank you for a nice home and a great warranty department.

Dislike- builder not check on teams to follow the blueprint... wrong tiles was installed ...forget the make a drain for washer in basement ... we have to check every weekend to see what they did and point to the builder what was not like in blue print....I really don't know how the pass different stage of inspection...

Warranty has been doing a good job when they are here. But sometimes they seem to get to busy to reply when you are just trying to find out timelines of when something will be done so you have on your schedule.

I did not like all the repairs needed after 1 year warranty. We did not like the length of time needed to make building corrections to home. We did like the sales staff. We did not like the employee turn over at [name removed].

As with others during the period from Dec 2020 through Apr 2022, we experienced several unexpected delays, some of which were understandably due to supply chain problems during the period. Our first builder, [name removed], was less communicative than expected in how or when these delays would be resolved. However, the builder who replaced [name removed], [name removed], has been personally engaged and genuinely committed to meeting our expectations throughout the process; [name removed] and [name removed] were extremely helpful with and knowledgeable about the entire design process; and, during our closing walkthrough, [name removed] was thorough and helpful in identifying items requiring attention. We look forward to working with [name removed] as the process continues.

[name removed] has been polite but he has been assigned too many houses with problems. (wife) I have been disappointed in the warranty experience at [name removed] [name removed]! Dishwasher was attached improperly originally and water leaked on foundation under the wood flooring and caused mold. We have been dealing with this for several months. They took out the countertops sink cabinets sink ; 1/2 the flooring in the kitchen & part of the den floor. The replacement flooring doesn’t match. I feel the entire floor should have been replaced. We have no water in the kitchen & the air quality of the home from mold, dust is dangerous. We were told to go to a hotel til this was completed but [name removed] is having trouble coordinating the floor company, electrical, counter/ cabinets, painters etc. In the meantime we have not been reimbursed for hotel costs and food. We are told that certain contractors will be here and several have been late or didn’t show up. I have lived in [name removed] 6 years& was so excited to live at [name removed] TWin lakes but it has been a nightmare as for the repair work.

From the time I signed my contract to my move-in date was 14 months. I understand the challenges with supply chain and labor, however, I would have like more than one communication and communication more timely. I definitely would have choosen differently, modified design and/or delayed the build altogether until the labor market was more stable and not risk subpar or inexperienced trades working on my home.

I was misled about the linear fireplace that I selected for my home. I asked from the beginning of the sale if a remote was included and was told in the Design Center, after my Design [name removed] researched it with the manufacturer, that "yes" there was a remote but that I would have to purchase it after I closed on the home. This was disappointing because the price of the linear fireplace was the highest to select from and the folks that selected from the lower model were getting a remote. As it turned out, the linear fireplace was switched to a different model during construction and this model does not come with a remote. [name removed] only does it not come with a remote but this model does not fit in the space cut out for the fireplace during the construction process. It looks unfinish and I am very disappointed that my house was delivered to me like this. I am looking into a resolution with the Director of Construction in hopes [name removed] will remedy this problem for me.

Customer care-It was VERY difficult trying to reach [name removed] as she would not return my calls or emails. I had to contact [name removed] and he was able to forward my email to [name removed]. I was trying to get my 2 month repairs done. Finally got a repair date for March 17th but NO SHOW, no calls or emails! Now I have a new date this Thursday-hope they show this time!

[name removed] has been excellent to work with. The 11 month walkthrough with [name removed] has been an excellent experience. [name removed] always returns my calls and emails and follows up to make sure all repairs are done to my satisfaction. He has treated my house as if it were his own and I can't be more pleased. My interactions with [name removed] and [name removed] have also been excellent and both of them were very easy to work with and their concerns in getting the repairs completed were much appreciated. Could not say enough good things about the entire warranty team.

Liked all of the sales staff ([name removed], [name removed] and [name removed], design ladies ([name removed] and [name removed]), [name removed] at the front desk and especially our builder [name removed]. I think there needs to be more info available early in the process about all the options available and the corresponding costs. [name removed] design features but construction options with explanations and illustrations. Regarding the design process, too many of the choices are no longer available which is frustrating. [name removed] was great about communicating with us and keeping us updated on the progress of our home. We always felt like everyone was working hard to deliver us a quality product.

The amenities that were told I would have in the Spring of 2021 have been delayed until 2023. Did receive good news today that a few more beside Pickleball will be available in May of this year. Communication is improving. Seems some cement cracks are excessive, especially in the garage.

Building in a pandemic is not easy and I feel that [name removed] did their level best to complete our house. However, once the house was completed there are a number of small construction issues that need to be addressed to put the house in total order. Given the price of the house these items, in my opinion, should have been addressed before closing. This is the 4th house we have built so we have a certain level of expectation for the price point paid.

Things we were told at purchase, that have not been followed up on, ie construction route into west section would be off of the first street in from the Peachtree Rd entrance. We will have to put up with construction traffic until the 3 west sections are built out. [name removed] what we were told. The front of my home is covered with dirt from the grading that went on in these sections. I need [name removed] to pressure wash the front of my home. The silicone caulk is dark yellow instead of clear.

We’ve had to contact them multiple times on very simple problems. We only had 4 items on our 2 month walk-thru, one of which is still outstanding. Seems our biggest complaint has been with the tile company. We are not getting call backs from the tile company nor do we get return calls when we contact the warranty department. If they are in the office, you can speak with them but if you leave a message the call is not returned.

The purchase/contract/design phase all went smoothly. I was absent for most of the construction, but the construction manager gave me regular updates, which I appreciated. The last mile dash to the finish line (closing) was challenging and frustrating, partly due to the circumstances such as the pandemic, labor shortage, and material shortage. But then, we can’t really blame everything on the circumstances. As a large and reputable builder, I wish the company could be more proactive.

The small problems were taken care of, but the major, and I truly believe is a major design flaw, is the inside door to the garage on the Elm. If you did not put in a loft, that hallway is shorten so that two people cannot enter the house together or one person cannot bring in packages without stepping into the laundry room. The door when opened blocks the entry to the main part of the house. I know many have complained, but nothing to correct this is happening. When I get groceries, I park outside and bring them in by my front door. Could this be a code violation ???

I disliked the fact that I didn't have any control over the quality of workmanship. When items were mentioned we got "that's the way it's done" or "we can't do that" for our answer. The contractors are so overworked that they don't check on the subs often enough. Our contractor was good about scheduling work on his computer but did not have a clue about whether the work was being done correctly. I realize this is production build and not custom but there would be FAR fewer problems if [name removed] would slow down and do it right the first time. What I have truly liked has been the warranty department. [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed] have worked very hard to address all our issues. They have responded in a courteous and professional manner which has been greatly appreciated.

[name removed] has been excellent to work with. The 11 month walkthrough with [name removed] has been an excellent experience. [name removed] always returns my calls and emails and follows up to make sure all repairs are done to my satisfaction. He has treated my house as if it were his own and I can't be more pleased. My interactions with [name removed] and [name removed] have also been excellent and both of them were very easy to work with and their concerns in getting the repairs completed were much appreciated. Could not say enough good things about the entire warranty team.

The amenities that were told I would have in the Spring of 2021 have been delayed until 2023. Did receive good news today that a few more beside Pickleball will be available in May of this year. Communication is improving. Seems some cement cracks are excessive, especially in the garage.

Things we were told at purchase, that have not been followed up on, ie construction route into west section would be off of the first street in from the Peachtree Rd entrance. We will have to put up with construction traffic until the 3 west sections are built out. [name removed] what we were told. The front of my home is covered with dirt from the grading that went on in these sections. I need [name removed] to pressure wash the front of my home. The silicone caulk is dark yellow instead of clear.

I disliked the fact that I didn't have any control over the quality of workmanship. When items were mentioned we got "that's the way it's done" or "we can't do that" for our answer. The contractors are so overworked that they don't check on the subs often enough. Our contractor was good about scheduling work on his computer but did not have a clue about whether the work was being done correctly. I realize this is production build and not custom but there would be FAR fewer problems if [name removed] would slow down and do it right the first time. What I have truly liked has been the warranty department. [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed] have worked very hard to address all our issues. They have responded in a courteous and professional manner which has been greatly appreciated.
