I'm having a problem with many cracks in the drywall. There are also cracks in the bathroom floor grout. This concerns me. I've purchased two other new homes in the past, and never had these problem with either one (one owned for 12 yrs and one owned for 3.5 years). I'm also starting to add outdoor plants. I'm digging up bricks and large rocks. I don't believe it is unreasonable for a builder to clean up a build site and/or add decent topsoil in anticipation that owners will want to add shrubs to their landscape (especially around the foundation--since we live in Texas and foundation damage is common).

The structure of the house has been really bad. The trims on the floor and doors have been coming loose. The door handles are poor quality and have to be tighten often. The tree outside died within months of moving in even with frequent watering.

HOME USED WIRED HIGH SPEED INTERNET ALREADY AVAILABLE AS A SELLING POINT, AND THAT WAS NOT FACTUAL. THEY RAN WIRING FOR CABLE AND NOT HIGH-SPEED INTERNET. DRYER PLUG KEPT TRIPPING THE BREAKER WITH A WORKING DRYER. INSTEAD OF FIXING THE PLUG TO WORK WITH ANY STANDARD DRYER. THEY CAME OUT AND REMOVED WIRING FROM THE DRYER TO GET THE TRIPPING ISSUE TO STOP. IT WORKS NOW, BUT WILL I HAVE TO REMOVE WIRING FROM DRYERS FOR THE ENTIRETY OF MY TIME IN THIS HOME? ALOT OF CUTTING CORNERS, RUSHED BUYING, AND STILL NOT FIXING THINGS TO A STANDARD.
