Since my family and I have moved into our [name removed] home in May 2023 we were very nervous and excited being that it’s a brand new build. I was a bit of a sceptic about new builds especially the horror stories I hear regarding home warranty, and how customer service is terrible and that no one responds or ever resolves any issues. So I came in not expecting too much, but I was very wrong and we were blessed to have [name removed] take care of us she is amazing. We had numerous requests throughout the year nothing too major, but as soon as I place a ticket on dwellingLive she would shoot me a email, phone call or text message helping resolve and connecting us to the proper contractors. She always followed up with me regarding appointments, making sure I was being communicated to in a timely manner, it made the new home buying process so much more easier and stress free. I will truly miss her. And to all the wonderful techs that came out to keep our home looking beautiful and functional. Our family is very grateful our house is a dream built incredibly well love the modern look but also cozy. I will continue to recommend [name removed] homes to everyone. Thank you!

There are several issues with the house and its service providers. The air-conditoning ssytem is under-designed to serve a 2-floor home and only cools one floor at a time when both floors are needed to be cooled. The weatehr lining of windows or seals are not adequate. A signifcant amount of dust gets blown indoors during [name removed] [name removed] wind days requiring a huge effort to cleanup. The water qaulity froim faucets is bad and odorous. It does not appear to be potable. There are Proposition 65 signs on cabinets inside which was not disclosed previously. I maybe getting exposed to toxic materials. The counters are not level causing waetr to run off. The vendors for soalr have not been able to activate soalr 6 months after closing. The smart home service company SSST has the worst customer service possible,and their staff routinely do not keep appointments and lie, to reschedule appointment it takes months, and their work is defective. The EERO router installed became loose only days later. The outside finish of the face is not completed and has unvene tiles and bricks.

My customer care representative, [name removed], was good. However, for many of the issues that I sent in complaints about, the contractors consistently tell me that the problem is not a problem, that it's "normal." I was hoping that customer care would be more concerned about the quality than I do.

Warranty is through a third party and it could be difficult at times having to reach out and get things corrected and completed in a timely manner. The builder has moved on to different contractors throughout the months. For example, my 30-day paint touch up had to scheduled multiple times because the first painter used a wrong paint tone, resulting in my home having two toned paint in the "corrected" areas of my home. A different paint company took over and I had to schedule a painter multiple times to finally get the job corrected the right way after several months. This should have never happened. Another dislike is when a worker comes out for services and runs out of time because the builder only allotted certain amount of hours when the warranty work took longer so they would have to come back at another time. Some of the contractors seem frustrated having to come out multiple times to fix things when they couldn't figure it out the first time. The workers stated the builder used cheap products known to have a history of failing, like the garage sensors and LED lighting fixtures.
