No one knows more about a homebuilder's quality and service than the builder's customers.

Since 1984, Eliant has been independently evaluating the performance of homebuilders across the U.S., Canada, and the Middle East:

  • We ask recent homebuyers to evaluate their builder's purchase process.
  • Then, we ask homeowners to evaluate their builder's quality and service (1) after the first 5-months in the home, and (2) again at the end of the first year.

In "Homebuilder Customer Reviews", we present the ratings and comments collected from new-home buyers at these three points in time.

Eliant verifies that only evaluations completed by actual customers are included in this "Homebuilder Customer Reviews" site. Home loan officer. Inspire home is not helpful. I have a 25 July closing and I was ready to transfer money from July 20 . He told me to transfer money July 24 at 4pm . It was too much rush . I have to come from newyork city . Still it was not decided up to July 24 . I am totally disappointed with inspire home loan officer.

What I liked most was the friendly and professional associates, from the those I dealt with in sales, to the finance person. What I least enjoyed about the purchase was having to delay my closing by one day, due to having to repeatedly upload requested items.

want to provide honest feedback regarding my financing experience during the home-buying process. First, I want to recognize that every member of the staff I worked with was professional, courteous, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout the process. They did everything they could to assist me, and I truly appreciate their efforts. My frustration was with the underwriting process. As a business owner, I understand that additional documentation is often required compared to a traditional W-2 employee. However, the amount of documentation and repeated requests I was asked to provide felt excessive and far beyond what I have experienced with other banks and lenders. Even after providing extensive financial records, additional requests continued to come, making the process unnecessarily stressful and time-consuming. Having financed homes and worked with multiple financial institutions in the past, this was by far the most burdensome underwriting experience I’ve encountered. It often felt as though there was little consideration given to the realities of owning and operating a business, despite having established income and financial stability. I hope this feedback is viewed as constructive. My concern is not with the people I worked with—they were excellent—but with the underwriting policies and procedures. I believe there is an opportunity to make the process more efficient and more accommodating for qualified self-employed borrowers without compromising sound lending practices. Overall, I love the home and appreciate the team’s professionalism, but I would strongly encourage a review of the underwriting process for business owners, as it was significantly more difficult than any other mortgage experience I’ve had. Not a comfortable feeling not knowing if i was going to secure the home the day before closing put my family thru alot of unnecessary stress!

We mentioned an issue with the island that needed to be fixed to the agent when she showed us the home and when we showed up for the first walkthrough it was never addressed and was still not corrected until after we closed.

I had an independent inspection performed. However, I do not think it was reviewed until the closing day walk through and certain items were not taken care of that were specifically on the inspection report from two weeks earlier.
