No one knows more about a homebuilder's quality and service than the builder's customers.

Since 1984, Eliant has been independently evaluating the performance of homebuilders across the U.S., Canada, and the Middle East:

  • We ask recent homebuyers to evaluate their builder's purchase process.
  • Then, we ask homeowners to evaluate their builder's quality and service (1) after the first 5-months in the home, and (2) again at the end of the first year.

The lack of communication with Sales and never being able to get in contact with anyone. I was not informed on the specifics of the house or available appliance options, just that the incentive went away the day before I signed. I would have signed earlier if I knew the incentive went away. Also, signed for a insulated garage door and that was not installed. I got a thin metal door, not the same as the older homes. I am still waiting on mailbox key, an keep getting runaround from both sales and post office. Still have not received update on IQ panel that was to be installed....have contacted sales multiple times via email and text with no update or what to expect.

I like that the home was affordable. I disliked that I didn’t get enough information about the home. I wasn’t totally sure what I was receiving. The after product was not well done. Most of the areas of the home look so tacky (especially the tiling and paint work) The sq ft of the home doesn’t really show in some areas of the home that requires enough spaces (Master bed and bathroom)

[name removed] was not responsive when emailed or called. She missed multiple weekly updates, failed to communicate changes in walkthroughs, and would say things that I had proof were not factual.

it was an Unacceptable experience. Seller [name removed]: I saw him once, after that you can only contact him via text. he was making uncomfortable pressure to sign the contract, but then he dissapear. At least he knows what he is doing. INSPIRE HOME LOANS: THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, AND UNFAIR.... [name removed]: First I worked with [name removed], she didn't know what she was doing I had to chase her for over a week, then I was sent with [name removed]. [name removed]: no idea of what she is doing so unprofessional, said a couple lies also, then after 2 weeks just to try to get my loan locked she gave me a rate of 4.125%, we agreed to lock it that day. Then the next day she told me she had a mistake and wanted to give me a rate of 5.375%....unacceptable then she told me that I could talk to her boss [name removed]..... Will Seaux: It took more than a week for me to get in touch with him, finally he said that there was a mistake and the best they could do was 4.875%... I was not happy it was like they were doing me a favor.... I was so tired that I just wanted to finish the process. then for closing they choose a date Monday April, without even telling me or asking ANYTHING, I didn't even know because they were sending the mail to the wrong CARLOS, I was notified by my agent's assistant. I couldn't do it that day, I am a Physicians and had a full schedule with patients, so the day before was Eastern Sunday and the next day was Tuesday 19th, so I proposed Tuesday 19th. without them notifying me of any issues or charges the change the date to the very next day the 4/19, the day of closing they told me that I had to pay a late fee of $240 use for changing the date, they never told me that if I was available the date they set the closing, neither they notified me of a charge.... I could have close the week before , I actually was supposed to close 3/31 not 4/18.... that was unfair I tried to talk with everybody with NO response and very Unfair had to pay that.... I texted WILL SEAUX and ask for help, he told me he could do anymore for me...but Initially they made a huge mistake on the interest rate and I was comprehensive and understandable...but didn't receive that back. [name removed] FAUCETT contractor: AMAZING.very responsible and professional, awesome !! the day before the closing, left the hospital for a walk thru, the House was locked we could do the walk thru, AND AGAIN I SAID NO PROBLEM ... we had to postponed to the very closing day, there was still some pending issues and I trusted him and said " NO PROBLEM AGAIN".. he has fixed almost everything now. [name removed] title: they were great ! very nice and thorough, great people.

I didn't like the fact that there were several things that still to this day aren't correct with the home. The only saving grace was the construction supervisor, [name removed]. He worked really hard to make things right at the point he got involved. [name removed] worked diligently. I was very turned off by [name removed]. I felt like she got my earnest money and it was all over from there. I've spoken with other neighbors now and realized that they got to choose things in their home like carpet, brick color, etc. I realize that my home was at a certain point in the process, but I could have at least been given an option to choose the color of my carpet before it was installed. I get the impression that this home that this home was slated for someone else that chose all of the options, but perhaps things fell through for whatever reason. I have also noticed that some of the home just like mine have a covered patio which I don't have and it states in the contract that my patio should have been 10x10 which isn't the case. There are just so many things that I'm not impressed with.
