Since 1984, Eliant has been independently evaluating the performance of homebuilders across the U.S., Canada, and the Middle East:

  • We ask recent homebuyers to evaluate their builder's purchase process.
  • Then, we ask homeowners to evaluate their builder's quality and service (1) after the first 5-months in the home, and (2) again at the end of the first year.

Pros: The realtor, [name removed], for Century Complete was awesome. The ladies at [name removed] were great. [name removed] - Construction Superintendant always answered his texts for us. [name removed] who oversees construction was fantatsic. Between [name removed] and [name removed] ALL of the below issues have been or are being corrected. Phenomenal customer service from these two. They answer their emails, texts, and phone calls. They really go above and beyond to ensure their customers are completely satisfied. I would absolutely buy another home from Century Complete and recommend them as a home builder, especially if these two men are at the helm. If I ever get the chance, I sincerely want to buy them a beer! As the home owners, we are very satisfied with Century Complete!!! Cons: Our final walk-thru could have been better. The power wasn't connected to the microwave. There was no power to the stove/oven due to bad wiring behind the outlet. (Corrected) The dryer shroud wasn't on and was laying behind the dryer. (Corrected) The refridgerator was super loud when the compressor would kick in. The Whirlpool repairmen have adrressed it and have ordered new parts to correct the issue as of last week, Nov 17 - 21. (Corrected) The washing machine's drain pipe wasn't placed into the wall in order to drain the laundry water from the washing machine. It was still wrapped in a rubber band behind the washing machine. Consequently when our clients went to use the washing machine it flooded the home to include two carpeted bedrooms. (Corrected) All of these appliance issues, with exception to the refridgerator, should have been caught during the appliances installation and/or the final walk-thru.

I wish we could have met person to person. It would have been more personable. I didn’t realize what came with the house and what was not included that was surprising good and bad. Working with the staff has been a pleasure. [name removed] at sales office was amazing and [name removed] the supervisor was outstanding to meet and work with getting our issues resolved. • Everyone was very responsive and communicated often. • I never felt “out of the loop” ever with Century Complete. • We were 100% ready to buy so the quick turnaround was great for us. • Both times we met with [name removed] for orientation and the final walk through he was very professional, transparent, and reassuring. • [name removed] made things so easy; we were able to really stay “hands off” as much as possible which was great!

I was very pleased with the sales representative [name removed]. She was very helpful.Made the process easy and kept me informed along the way. I was also very happy with the job site Superintendent [name removed]. His attention to detail was great. He addressed the concerns I brought to his attention and was very. communicative as we move through the final stages. I was not fond of the online portal , which I never gained access to view the home prior to completion.

I liked our agent, [name removed]. It was a headache using their lender, and we almost were unable to complete our purchase due to it. Through walk through we noticed a lot of scuffs, and damage that they said would be taken care of. It was eventually good enough that we closed. There is still a list that we have been trying to have done for the past few months at the request of the contractors. We give the list, and never hear again until he comes by and asks if anything needs to be done. Overall, poor quality craftsmanship, and we've had to completely fix our backyard since our yard was not graded right. We aren't typically the people to complain, but when you pay a lot for a new house, you want it to be perfect and ours isn't really...but the contractor lied to my face one of the first times I asked him a genuine question, so we didn't have high hopes. Overall, it was a cheap enough and good enough option that we still moved forward, and there are enough things we like about it that we will stay for a long time. My husband would like to add "more like Century Incomplete."
