A life-long friend and I first looked at Minto homes in LakePark in September 2018, where I fell in love with the Buttonwood. My friend bought a Buttonwood and moved up 2019. I had asked [name removed] to be placed on the list interested in the model when it would be for sale. Well, that didn't happen as it was sold when [name removed] was on leave. However, [name removed] informed my friend of the units that would be built where the parking lot was. [name removed] was super knowledgeable, professional & courteous! [name removed] to mention Friendly! I put my deposit down in October of 2020, met with the Wonderful Designer in November to choose my upgrades and construction began in December - [name removed] my builder was the Absolute Best! He constantly kept me abreast of the development during each phase of construction. Whenever I would drive up from Broward County, [name removed] would make sure he was available to meet me at the home construction site to walk me through the progress and answer any questions I might have. [name removed] would even text me pictures and update me of the property if I wasn't able to make it up during weekday workdays. It has been several years since I built my last home, but I assure you they were not on top of things with the professionalism and eagerness to assist the homeowners the way [name removed] did. All the knowledge he has and passing it on was a bit overwhelming at times (in a Good Way)! He even went above and beyond to take away some large boxes for me that were in my garage during my move-in. In my "after" closing meeting with [name removed], introducing me to [name removed] with Master Care, [name removed] still showed the same enthusiasm to make sure I was happy & pleased with my new home, and they were both eager & ready to attack and remedy any concerns. This truly was a pleasant home buying experience! Both [name removed] & [name removed] made the experience even more pleasant and stress free by their "hands-on" approach during the building process. [name removed] is fortunate to have such devoted and caring not to mention professional and experienced members on their team! Oh, and if I forgot to mention ~ I LOVE MY HOME! [name removed] does a great service to their homebuyers and the construction of the homes they build,,, passed through by their awesome and professional staff that sell & oversee and supervise the numerous vendors hired to build the homes! [name removed] & [name removed] with the utmost professionalism, knowledge and friendliness! Nothing to dislike at all about my purchase experience.

the open communication; due to the pandemic, all communications were conducted online, via the phone and the outcome was excellent. [name removed] and [name removed] were awesome; I'm forgetting the lady who helped with selections of Option B or2; she was excellent also.

The construction super ([name removed]) was awesome. He kept us informed weekly and was always available to answer our questions via text. He was always on time and prepared when we met with him.

Everything went pretty well with the exception of feeling rushed to make decisions. We were doing the selections for our house as well as my father's which led to some minor miscommunication and some items not being selected.

Delivered house on time. So far things are good some small issues. Only here 2 weeks. Floors are unevenly grouped, trip hazzard.

Our sales agent, Bob Frein, was very informative, educated, and knowledgeable of all the upgrades offered. He kept us up-to-date of the progress of the construction. In addition, the Project Manager, Rob Lawson, did an excellent job on the walk through. Both those employees are an asset to your company.

The only thing we liked and were extremely thankful for was [name removed]. Your Salesperson, Your [name removed] Company and your Closing Coordinator left much to be desired. Due to the fact that your Sales People, [name removed] Company and Closing Coordinator/Department have no idea how to work with a Customer who is using a HECM for Purchase [name removed]. Never mind having any knowledge at all of the workings of a HECM for Purchase [name removed]. Which by the way is Costing Minto $100's of Thousands a year in lost Revenue. But that's a whole different conversation. When we signed the Sales Contract we indicated that we would be using our own [name removed] and [name removed] Company. I still contacted [name removed]'s [name removed] Company anyway. First, after multiple e-mails with them they told me that they would not work with a HECM for Purchase. Second: multiple emails with folks that were insisting we sign an amendment to the Sales Contract stating we were using our own [name removed] Company... as stated we did that in signing the Original Sales Contract, Finally someone had the sense to look and see that in fact we did already sign. Third: We were given a closing date that was 9 days after the CO was to be released, anyone with any knowledge of a HECM for Purchase would know that was an impossible date to meet, especially in today's Real estate environment. After explaining this to the salesperson and closing coordinator I was told that the date will stand, penalties for not closing could be charged, and that it's in the Sales Contract. Which set in motion a chain of events that ended up with us having to stay in a Hotel for 4 days at the Cost of $800.00. In reading the Sales Contract further I discovered your language concerning FHA mortgages (a HECM for Purchase is an FHA [name removed]) all of this pain, aggravation, and hotel dollars could have been adverted. Something your salespeople and closing department should definitely know about an FHA [name removed]. Which [name removed] supports. Also for some reason [name removed] was totally unaware of the day that we closed. Again a THANK YOU to [name removed] for keeping us informed and for his communication through out this process. [name removed] to mention him taking a box or two inside when we moved in.

When building a new home I was hoping to make it what I wanted in the home I expect to spend the rest of my days in. This did not happen. I feel selections and options were extremely limited. There a many simple options I would like to have had such as doors added to my den.

The entire [name removed] process was wonderful. Bib our sales person was honest and provided a great deal of helpful information including our lender. [name removed] you construction [name removed] is one of those unique individuals who lives the company he works for and in everything he does presents [name removed] as a top knot has outfit. [name removed] went above and beyond answering our many questions and in helping to assure the he did everything he could do to assure satisfaction. The construction process was very smooth with constant progress evident with each of our many site visits. Furthermore the build site was clean and professionally managed throughout the process Upon moving in there were very few fixes needed as all work was of top quality. The few minor adjustments post move in were handled immediately. Having built my own custom home a number of years ago I must say the [name removed] experience was far superior. Thanks to [name removed] and his team.
