I believe visiting the design center can be more customer friendly. The process is intimidating and many errors were made. This process requires more transparency prior to visiting the design center.

The sales that we used [name removed] made our experience very unpleasant. He talked down to us laughed at us when we asked questions because we didn’t know how the home buying process works. We tried to work with someone else but was force to continue to work with him.

Staff was very friendly, but i will say that [name removed] our building contractor was freakin amazing! He was so helpful, gave us great ideas and completely made us feel like we were a part of his family. The time he took, the attention to detail and the constant communication is undeniably the best I have ever experienced. And that says a lot, because I have already purchased and built three new build homes, this being my 3rd.

Let’s start with I’m glad [name removed] is gone. She was the worst to work with. The design center was not the greatest experience, the lady working was no help at all and it says to bring our ideas in and they will help put things together. She basically just told us where things were and clicked buttons on the computer of what we decided. The building process was ok I guess. We were not happy with the fact we found urine on our flours while drywall was being installed. Come closing I feel like the building just gas lighted me with the issues I pointed out on our final walk through. We are in the warranty process now with a few things and it’s a fix one thing mess up another experience. But…….we do love our home, when we walked the model we fell in love. It’s our dream home and we are building a life and family here. Hopefully things get better and we can enjoy our beautiful home we worked so hard for. Also if you could please get someone out here to clean up the neighborhood that would be great. I understand it’s a job site but the amount of trash everywhere is getting out of hand. And with these storms we’re having it’s just getting everywhere.

Once we signed our contract, [name removed] no longer communicated with us or addressed the concerns we had with the progress of our home. Our mailbox keys/clubhouse keys were not at closing and required us to spend multiple trips to the local post office to order them and wait for access to our mailbox and wait on community manager to produce. [name removed] has been helpful getting the repairs we needed however we still have some outlying concerns that have not been fixed (squeaking stairs, stucco missing from front porch end cap). We find new things daily of shortcuts taken; paint peeling, outlet holes that were cut larger than outlet covers, chips in tile, messy paint job/hole coverups in closets, sand missing from driveway pavers, etc.

I’ve been in the home for over 30 days, and I still can’t move my mother in because the AC issues haven’t been resolved. I’m also had to wait a month to install my fence because the backyard was washing away. They filled it with dirt, but I’m not confident it will hold long-term. The VP at [name removed] said it would, and mentioned he would walk the property every two weeks, but I’m still concerned. We’ve already had around ten cracks in the stucco, and I’m worried about what the exterior will look like in five years with this many cracks so early. Inside the home, you can clearly see the drywall tape lines through the walls. We still don’t have all the mulch that was supposed to be installed around the house. They replaced the dead sod, but I told them to check the irrigation because that was likely the reason the grass died in the first place. They installed new sod, and that grass also died. I checked the irrigation myself, and it wasn’t functioning properly, so now I’m still left with dead grass.
