Once we signed our contract, [name removed] no longer communicated with us or addressed the concerns we had with the progress of our home. Our mailbox keys/clubhouse keys were not at closing and required us to spend multiple trips to the local post office to order them and wait for access to our mailbox and wait on community manager to produce. [name removed] has been helpful getting the repairs we needed however we still have some outlying concerns that have not been fixed (squeaking stairs, stucco missing from front porch end cap). We find new things daily of shortcuts taken; paint peeling, outlet holes that were cut larger than outlet covers, chips in tile, messy paint job/hole coverups in closets, sand missing from driveway pavers, etc.

I’ve been in the home for over 30 days, and I still can’t move my mother in because the AC issues haven’t been resolved. I’m also had to wait a month to install my fence because the backyard was washing away. They filled it with dirt, but I’m not confident it will hold long-term. The VP at [name removed] said it would, and mentioned he would walk the property every two weeks, but I’m still concerned. We’ve already had around ten cracks in the stucco, and I’m worried about what the exterior will look like in five years with this many cracks so early. Inside the home, you can clearly see the drywall tape lines through the walls. We still don’t have all the mulch that was supposed to be installed around the house. They replaced the dead sod, but I told them to check the irrigation because that was likely the reason the grass died in the first place. They installed new sod, and that grass also died. I checked the irrigation myself, and it wasn’t functioning properly, so now I’m still left with dead grass.

No one tried to address the issue about not providing keys for the mail box and passed that buck and made no effort to find the answer...Very unprofessional effort by all the people involved. Also, the salesperson made very unprofessional remarks when asked about certain problems. Recommend professional communication processes be developed for all people involved in dealing with customers. [name removed] was very helpful in addressing issues but many people involved dropped the ball in providing professional communication to resolve the problem. They seem to pass the buck and were not accountable to resolving the issue. Specially, during closing and after the sale.

Slight miscommunication about the appliances and these trees that we were told the HoA would have the city trim them but now we have to have them trimmed.

From the very first interaction until the present it has been one of the most painful struggles to work with this company. The real estate agent was very incompetent in her duties and lacked the care an agent should have for her clients through the entire process. Though she represents the brand and company and has to work for them, there is no sale of a home to a client if the agent also does not equally or greater go the distance for the buyer. She lacked in all ways and made it to be as though we were a nuisance to her. (I will be happy to go further in detail if someone reaches out to me so education and training can take place XXX-XXX-XXXX Then it came time for me to work with the lender who surprisingly was very attentive and helped in ways that she could however on the back end of things it became very confusing and lacked proper communication with us. The best part of this process has been the foreman(s) (one was fired in the middle of our home walk through) whom helped us and are still helping us to navigate warranty issues that were not resolved prior to closing even though we had a home inspector report that was given to the agent who failed to do her job and ensure progress was being done on the home. Overall I am very skeptical in referring anyone to this company as I know it would be a painstaking process for them to purchase a BRAND NEW home.

Using universal lending. It was the most stressfull part of this transaction. I also did not like having to chase down promised fees. Out of my first 30 day warranty claims 3 still remain uncompleted

“My purchase experience with Risewell Homes had both challenges and positives. The most difficult part was the back-and-forth regarding the commission structure, which created some unnecessary stress during the contract phase. That said, once I moved past that issue, I have been genuinely delighted with the quality of the build and the floorplan of my home. Everyone who visits comments on how well-designed and well-built it is. In the end, the craftsmanship, layout, and overall feel of the home exceeded my expectations, and I’m very happy with the final product.”
