Getting items address as they occur was easy before closing. After closing it became very difficult to get items corrected that was promised and agreed upon before closing .

There is not much I like about my experience and a lot I dislike. For example, we purchased our home in late June 2025. During the first week of July, we contacted [name removed] concerning high temperatures in our master bedroom with discrepancies of 4 to 5 degree difference between the thermostat and the master bedroom. [name removed] has gotten the AC company to look at the AC numerous times but to this date the issue remains unresolved. In September, our microwave ceased to function, and it took 3 weeks to be repaired by Samsung. Additionally, in mid-November, one of the stove's burner knobs mounting shaft broke internally, for which Samsung just ordered the parts today (12/12/25). Furthermore, on 12 November, as I removed the loft's center light fixture to install a fan, I discovered the electrical assembly box was notably loose. I notified [name removed] on 13 November and to this date I am still waiting for someone to come look at it and fix the issue. We have lived in this house for 5 months and so far, there hasn't been a single month in which we didn't have to worry about resolving a defect or issue with this home.

As a new home buyer, I still dont know how the process works. I know with other builders, customer care reaches out to check in the homeowners and warranty items. We havent had any of that. We have a list of items that need to be fixed and not sure how to go about it.

Hi there, this is requested feedback so I will be as honest as possible. Here are a few points for your reference: 1) This is an extremely overpriced home. We decided very poorly on when to jump into this market. 2) I had connected w contractor for a tub little hole that was there since installation and no answer yet. Also noticed there were 2 missing light bulbs and they told me they'll get it. Its super cheap but in the little things is where commitment is shown the most ;). 3) For such an expensive project, with many young families, there is not a single area for kids to play outside (due the fact that these houses have so little green areas) such as other community amenities (shades, seating, pool, grills etc). This is very concerning since we pay such a high HOA. I have made the approach to Empire HOA to be willing to pay more HOA if we could talk with Integra apts (right beside our community) to can use their amenities since they can use the income and we can benefit of facilities etc. and there was not a single good faith of at least trying anything related. In conclusion, we want out of here but are stuck in this project since house prices have gone down and if we sell at bought price we would be at a loss already. Sorry for our honesty.

The follow up on items that were not satisfactory from the beginning a leak on my back porch the first week I moved in and a warranty lady that never followed up a total nightmare

During conversations of the property it did not feel like we were the customer that was being looked for. The customer service experience was as an example. Just get in line with everyone else and we will see what we can do. After going through final walk there were things that were left not done and shrugged off as if it was ok the way it had been instead of fixing. Not a very satisfying experience after spending as much money as we did for a house that supposed to take care of my family. It’s a growing area so I understand the rush to move on to the next guy. Thanks.

The lack of hired security while still being a developed community under the responsibility of the developer. It's resulted in crime in our neighborhood

Homebuilder Customer Reviews

No one knows more about a homebuilder's quality and service than the builder's customers.

Since 1984, Eliant has been independently evaluating the performance of homebuilders across the U.S., Canada, and the Middle East:

  • We ask recent homebuyers to evaluate their builder's purchase process.
  • Then, we ask homeowners to evaluate their builder's quality and service (1) after the first 5-months in the home, and (2) again at the end of the first year.

In "Homebuilder Customer Reviews", we present the ratings and comments collected from new-home buyers at these three points in time.

Eliant verifies that only evaluations completed by actual customers are included in this "Homebuilder Customer Reviews" site. No other evaluations - whether collected by the builder or those appearing on other public sites - are included here. All customer comments are included verbatim, no editing is permitted.
