Purchase Experience Testimonials from Real Homebuyers

[name removed] was great to work with but the follow up company wide is non-existent. I did most of the punch out list myself. It was just easier than dealing and communicating with [name removed]. There was no central place to voice your concerns, with most of the emails being disconnected because of the changeover in companies. Overall, we like the house and the neighborhood but the biggest problem we have had is the HOA property managers. Legacy is a rash on the internet with a 2.5 stars out of 5. [name removed] is our propeerty manager. Communication and follow up is again, non-existent. They make decisions, when you can get them to tell you, with no discernable consistency. Land/Sea decided in their infinite wisdom to put Burr Oak trees in the front and back yard of 5000sf lots. Someday those trees are going to uproot the houses that are behind them. We have continued to ask for permission to replace the trees and we are turned down. Yet there are 25 instances where our neighbors did not bother to ask. They replaced the trees and absolutely nothing has been done to them. If you just do it its fine, but if you ask, you are not given permission. If you have a problem with Legacy, the manager gives you a number to voice your concerns but its a number that no one answers. They manipulate voting so they can place whoever they want on their board. They are allowing the entance to the property to die because they are too cheap to water the Crepe Myrtles. They have allowed the pond that we have to be overgrown with algae and they continue to tell is that they are on porperty every week which is not the truth. Some of the neighbors are talking about getting together and seeking legal advice. That has been our worst experience living here.

I loved the level of quality used in the construction of our home. It has been almost a year and I just had a home inspector come look at the house before the warranty expired. He found minimal issues and agreed they did a good job.

What I liked most about our experience is that mwy wife and I had been looking for a [name removed] home since 2023 and they were always available to show their inventory. Although it took us a while to purchase our forever home, they did not make us feel unwelcomed at any time. I can say this with confidence because during this time, we worked with three different [name removed] employees and their approach was all the same. Once we moved in, they provided us with a gift (cutting board with our last name) which was unexpected although very appreciated.

I like how our house buying process was not stressful and a breeze & how warranty is honored per disclosures during finally walk through and the wait isn’t long for the repair needed

Dead tree not replaced, one side of house outside has little drainage and is often holding rain water

I like how smoothe our process was other than underwriting coming back asking for more info but we were prepared

I bought 2 homes from you all back in December. Both homes had plumbing issues, lawn sod not good. The warranty department is not responsive and keeps saying nothing is covered, etc. I spent $600,000 with you all and I am not happy about it.

My dislike when I started building my house was I felt like I was getting the run around on everything. Best thing is it all ended on in the end.

The sales person did not keep me updated as to when my home would be completed.

The warranty is pain to use and there are issues with drainage on the lot. Also my fence was damaged when we moved in and it's never been fixed.

I love the warranty service in the customer. Care experience is beyond helpful.

There were issues getting started. Communication was not good. I felt I was getting the run around much of the time. It worked out in the end but I was very frustrated at times.

It took a long time from contract to move in. However, very worth the wait! Pricilla Butler was an outstanding sales rep for us. She maintained constant contact with us when we had observations and questions about the build. She was very accessible and responsive. Due to her help and making sure that the appropriate point of contact to address our questions got our messages and responded in a timely manner. We love our new home; it has exceeded our expectations.
