No one knows more about a homebuilder's quality and service than the builder's customers.

Since 1984, Eliant has been independently evaluating the performance of homebuilders across the U.S., Canada, and the Middle East:

  • We ask recent homebuyers to evaluate their builder's purchase process.
  • Then, we ask homeowners to evaluate their builder's quality and service (1) after the first 5-months in the home, and (2) again at the end of the first year.

In "Homebuilder Customer Reviews", we present the ratings and comments collected from new-home buyers at these three points in time.

Original sales agent had discussed a contingency purchase with our real estate agent. She stated we could do the contingency after the home was listed. We rushed to get our home listed within a couple of days. We called her to check in and she told us that she had already accepted an offer from another client. We were never given the opportunity to counter. I explained this to her and her response was “we assumed if you gave an offer on contingency that’s all you had to offer. If we had been working with you, then this may have looked different.“ I explained to her that we had been working with her for almost a week, expressing strong interest in the home. Then she went to the manager, and within an hour, called us back and said we could put an offer in to compete with the other buyer. We offered $10k over asking price. Shortly, after, apparently, the other buyer backed out. I question if there was ever another buyer in the first place.

In fact she went above and beyond to make sure I was thoroughly informed about all the details. [name removed] is excellent at his job. He went over every detail during the walkthrough and made himself available to our requests. I would recommend both of them to anyone interested in purchasing a Land Sea home.

There was really no dislike so far, however to many to mention “likes”. [name removed] our sales rep made the process easy by listening, educating and help us truly understand what sets [name removed] apart from the other builders we were looking at. [name removed] the general contractor has been a great help as well in the move in process and guiding us through our new home. His professionalism and communication has been amazing! The quality of our home is most important, but it’s your staff i.e [name removed] that sold us on this home and community. As long as you keeping hiring folks like her you will have no problem selling homes and getting positive surveys back.

The sales rep, was very good about explaining things concerning the house, his name was [name removed], very nice gentleman, and my agent [name removed] madison worked with me side by side in the process she was amazing, all the loan officers and title co. went very well, everything went pretty smooth, from contract to move in, we are very happy!

I don't have any complaints and only good things to say about the level of patience and the service we received. We hired a third party inspector who helped us dodge a bullet in the past and this report came up practically clean aside from a couple cosmetic issues that got resolved next-day. We haven't been able to move in just yet, but the days go by slower the closer we get to our move in due to sheer anticipation.

The builders (especially [name removed]) were extremely responsive and were willing to ensure we had a fully functional home prior to move in. They worked with us at every step, even informing us what was warrantable! They have been great.
