No one knows more about a homebuilder's quality and service than the builder's customers.

Since 1984, Eliant has been independently evaluating the performance of homebuilders across the U.S., Canada, and the Middle East:

  • We ask recent homebuyers to evaluate their builder's purchase process.
  • Then, we ask homeowners to evaluate their builder's quality and service (1) after the first 5-months in the home, and (2) again at the end of the first year.

Like: Very communicative, design selections, very knowledgeable, always willing to help, and felt like family never steered me in a wrong direction, or wanted to just make a sale. Dislike: Still had touchups that weren’t completed at final inspection.

Was not satisfied with the trash, broken bottles, bricks, concrete that was buried in the lawn and covered with sand and sod. I mentioned this several times to [name removed] our sales lady and she said she would address it with. The contractor. We never heard back and things remained as it was. Over all we love and are satisfied with our home. Staff was always polite, but I feel quality of some workmanship could be better. We would highly recommend builder.

Original sales agent had discussed a contingency purchase with our real estate agent. She stated we could do the contingency after the home was listed. We rushed to get our home listed within a couple of days. We called her to check in and she told us that she had already accepted an offer from another client. We were never given the opportunity to counter. I explained this to her and her response was “we assumed if you gave an offer on contingency that’s all you had to offer. If we had been working with you, then this may have looked different.“ I explained to her that we had been working with her for almost a week, expressing strong interest in the home. Then she went to the manager, and within an hour, called us back and said we could put an offer in to compete with the other buyer. We offered $10k over asking price. Shortly, after, apparently, the other buyer backed out. I question if there was ever another buyer in the first place.

My experience working with both [name removed] and [name removed] was exceptional. [name removed] responded to every question we had and answered in a timely manner. In fact she went above and beyond to make sure I was thoroughly informed about all the details. [name removed] is excellent at his job. He went over every detail during the walkthrough and made himself available to our requests. I would recommend both of them to anyone interested in purchasing a Land Sea home.

There was really no dislike so far, however to many to mention “likes”. [name removed] our sales rep made the process easy by listening, educating and help us truly understand what sets [name removed] apart from the other builders we were looking at. [name removed] the general contractor has been a great help as well in the move in process and guiding us through our new home. His professionalism and communication has been amazing! The quality of our home is most important, but it’s your staff i.e [name removed] that sold us on this home and community. As long as you keeping hiring folks like her you will have no problem selling homes and getting positive surveys back.
