Since 1984, Eliant has been independently evaluating the performance of homebuilders across the U.S., Canada, and the Middle East:

  • We ask recent homebuyers to evaluate their builder's purchase process.
  • Then, we ask homeowners to evaluate their builder's quality and service (1) after the first 5-months in the home, and (2) again at the end of the first year.

Everything was smooth from start to finish. We loved the quality of the home and neighborhood compared to other communities we’ve seen. Was also great doing the walk throughs with the property/construction manager [name removed]. He has been available for us for all our questions and concerns

I felt that everything was just slapped together once they knew they had a buyer. Working with [name removed] was great, but working with [name removed] was less than desireable. He spent time explaining stuff that I already knew how to care for since I am not a first time home buyer. He glazed over things that were more important and muddied my mind with stuff that I didn't need repeated. I was told I could not place the "pod' on the driveway to eliminate the distance from the street to the home. The house appeared to be ok on move in, but remember I had on my rose colored glasses as I wanted to get settled. My walk through was done at 7AM and some things were not visiable due to the time of day. Also I felt I was led away from things that needed replaced or repaired/namely the badly scratched kitchen sink. I had no info on the ring or the door lock. I spoke with [name removed] who insisted it was all in the cabinets, it was not there. I still don't have the information that was to have been left when the lock was installed. I had to have [name removed] get the tool for the ring to reset it, he didn't want to do it. I insisted that he borrow one from a house that was being built, then he told me I had to contact SST to get one for myself. I called them, which I shouldn't have had to do that, and they told me to contact Risewell. A vicious circle. Finally SST sent the box and tool out to me for the ring. The loan process was not great, I could never get straight answers on how the interest and loan payments would work. I kept hearing from the loan officer, don't worry it will be ok. Not the way I do business. The person I worked with was [name removed], some days she was not very pleasant. I appreciated the reduced interest rate and the money that is paid toward the loan for the first year, I appreciated the buy down of the interest rate. These were great incentives that helped me to decide to make the purchase.

The contract process was good. Our sales person communicated well with us. Once we closed the process seems hard to get things fixed. Multiple things have gone wrong with the build already.

I’m a first time home owner and I’m very satisfied with my house, especially my kitchen. The only thing that I’m a little dissatisfied is, I wish my backyard had a grass but other than that I love it.

There's nothing I have disliked so far. Everyone has been a delight to work with. [name removed] in sales is so sweet and helpful. I've needed a couple of things post purchase and she's so quick to help. And always with a smile on her face! [name removed] is such a great guy! He's quick to help with issues or any questions I may have. He's funny too! [name removed] has done a wonderful job of hiring the right people. My [name removed] is absolutely gorgeous and a complete dream!! Every time I drive up to my home, I smile and STILL can't believe it's my home. The expectations [name removed] has with all involved in the home building process is apparent. I'm so happy!

What I disliked the most about my experience was the communication with the sales consultant I was working with. As a first-time homebuyer, I had many questions and needed clear, timely responses to make informed decisions. Unfortunately, the communication throughout the process was poor. There were multiple occasions when my phone calls and text messages were not returned, which made the experience frustrating. At times, the interaction also felt impersonal, as if I was being fully heard or supported. One instance that stood out was when I called during her scheduled working hours and received no response. I ended up driving to the office in person, and only then did she acknowledge my call and indicate she would return it. that situation was particularly disappointing. Overall , the lack of communication was the most negative aspect of my experience with [name removed].

I am having difficulty with my address showing up on google maps to this day. It makes it very difficult to allow guests to drive / locate my home. This also has made it difficult to trust that a large expensive shipment will be correctly shipped to my home without issues
