No one knows more about a homebuilder's quality and service than the builder's customers.

Since 1984, Eliant has been independently evaluating the performance of homebuilders across the U.S., Canada, and the Middle East:

  • We ask recent homebuyers to evaluate their builder's purchase process.
  • Then, we ask homeowners to evaluate their builder's quality and service (1) after the first 5-months in the home, and (2) again at the end of the first year.

Overall, the experience was very positive. The contract process was clear and well-organized, and communication remained consistent all the way through move-in. The final stages felt well-paced and coordinated, which made the transition smooth.

Some of the options weren’t discussed until the walk-through. My biggest issue was the flat paint used to paint the house. And the no tile sealant.

We went with the Builders’ preferred Lender, Universal Lending. During the lending approval process there were several times documents were being required but no communication was made to us about these additional documents. Which stressed out everyone in the contract/lending/underwriting process. Positives about the lending/underwriting process is that our home salesperson, [name removed], was available at all hours of the day. Responding in a timely manner and always so pleasant, helping us navigate this complex process. We gave them a very aggressive closing timeline of less than 30 days to close, during the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays nonetheless! The team worked tirelessly to make our goal happen!! Because of Risewell Homes recently acquiring Land Sea, there were a few standard home features that were communicated as included but were missing upon closing. We brought this up to [name removed]. she advocated for them to be added. 2/3 were approved. Although we were sad to miss out of the other item, we felt grateful that the team worked so hard to get the things included and installed before close. (Thank you [name removed] and [name removed]) We think you guys have a great crew and are proud to own a Risewell home:)

It was difficult to get assistance from the HOA company initially and I didn’t see any information regarding the HOA in my move in documents. Maybe I missed it but even mentioning that the HOA is an app that you need to download might be helpful to other new owners. I felt seen by [name removed] and [name removed]. They really made me feel welcome and they also seemed as excited for me about my new home as I was. [name removed] was also very kind and willing to help me with any questions I had.

I liked that the whole process was easy I dislike that the warranty people dont answer the text messages and they said they would i just have a couple questions about the home and need some things fixed

During conversations of the property it did not feel like we were the customer that was being looked for. The customer service experience was as an example. Just get in line with everyone else and we will see what we can do. After going through final walk there were things that were left not done and shrugged off as if it was ok the way it had been instead of fixing. Not a very satisfying experience after spending as much money as we did for a house that supposed to take care of my family. It’s a growing area so I understand the rush to move on to the next guy. Thanks.

I loved how easy and quick the process was, the hardest part was just all the different tasks we had to accomplish quickly in singing documents but just comes with purchasing a home.
