No one knows more about a homebuilder's quality and service than the builder's customers.

Since 1984, Eliant has been independently evaluating the performance of homebuilders across the U.S., Canada, and the Middle East:

  • We ask recent homebuyers to evaluate their builder's purchase process.
  • Then, we ask homeowners to evaluate their builder's quality and service (1) after the first 5-months in the home, and (2) again at the end of the first year.

I loved the quality of the homes. It was so refreshing to see homes that were built with great quality. Our sales representative [name removed] was great to work with. She was good at communicating and she made sure we were well taken care of. The main concern and dislike was on our closing day. [name removed] finished the sale and moved the loan into our name BEFORE our final walk through which was something we were not comfortable with. Upon arriving at closing our construction site manager [name removed] didn’t address this however he knew of our displeasure. Our realtor brought it up and he handled it very unprofessionally, not apologizing until we asked him to, he didn’t treat us with respect and didn’t take accountability for anything. It was very frustrating. Closing day was supposed to be a very happy uplifting day for our family and it was bitter due to this. [name removed] was also very annoyed everytime we pointed something out. He wasn’t kind or easy to work with at all. He didn’t treat us or our realtor with respect, it was very unprofessional.

If there was one thing I could point out is the final walk through not all items that we pointed out to be fixed (mainly cosmetic, paint, drywall, etc) were not addressed.

Representatives gave constant feedback back on the progress of our build. It was nice to be able to come by at any time to see the progress our selves. The few issues we did have were resolve in a timely manner with professionalism and quality.

We think very highly of [name removed]. She did our blue tap walk through. She knows her job. Whatever she makes, pay her more. She is an asset to the organization. The only negative thing I could offer is that closing for the home is more than an hour away. Not a big deal. This is a winter home for us so making it here for the blue tape visit and then closing a few days later requires two trips here. It might be nice to have an on-line option. we love the new home. It's perfect for us. Good job Risewell!!!
